Wish I had my camera today, the fun part of living in a city (and using mass transit) is you never know what you may see along the way. We had a tap dancing granny today, she came on the bus near downtown (horrible overcrowded ride, I'm sure the driver was not happy) and broke out in a routine right in front of the driver. I think she even had taps on her shoes! Brought a laugh to the crowd and everyone was much happier.
Mall of America had a Red Dress, American Heart event. Beautiful women in gorgeous red dresses doing a little fashion show while the announcer told her story about dealing with heart disease/transplant. You could see the scar line on one lady, just really cool to see.
And the Vikings cheer leaders were there posing for pictures, had to rope in hubby...
Me: honey, I'm hungry let's go
Hubby (ogling): ..but I want that!
Me: what?
Hubby (almost drooling): .. I want that... (pointing at scantily clad cheerleaders).
Me: (sigh) yes dear. (shove, push, pull him along)

Can ya tell we have been married for like
forever?
Then we noticed, they opened a Peeps store.
Yes, really!
A store dedicated to that yellow squishy marshmallow candy that people love to hate. They also had Mike & Ike and Hot Tamale items.
Opening day freebies! Peep hat (dorky yellow foam), meet and greet with a Peep (adorable yellow peep costume character) and samples of candy (mike/ike and tamales). The store smelled like peeps (vanilla if you weren't aware of Peep smells) and they had all kinds of cute Peeps logo items, plus all the different weird shapes (including chocolate covered peeps). We need to go mid week and take pictures of the store decor - very cute and fun!
Forgot to add... We were greeted by a lovely sight of hoar frost this morning.
The park across the street was sooo pretty.. again, wish I had my camera! This is from the St Paul paper.
