We went back at 4:30 and the FP wait was about 30 min, Single rider was 45 min and stand by was 3 hours. The ride is awesome!! It is going to be long wait for the Rides all summer. We figured the best way for the future is get FP for RSR, go to Luigis (second longest line) and then Mater (never seemed longer than 30-40 minutes)

I think they would have a riot on their hands!!

That is not a bad wait...Hopefully we will be just as lucky next week :wizard:

Didn't the ride break down a few times on Day 1?

It is already 73 degrees and I need to go for a run. At this point I am not sure if I am trying to talk myself in to or out of the run. I hate running in the heat.

Jen - Yeah I think it should be fun. I am not sure if we will make it to the kids stuff or not either. Depends on how early we want to go. We really want to see Skillet and I have a feeling they will be the very last band but I am looking forward either way. Just NOT to the heat LOL.

Trudi - Thanks!!

Good morning, Divas! Gonna be another hot one here today, and it's HUMID, which is very rare. And very nasty. LOL Going to be a lazy day, I think!

Hello, ladies!! Happy Sunday. Hope you are all enjoying your day so far.

Happy Saturday, Divas! Stayed up too late last night and slept in too long this morning. LOL It's going to be 105 here today and when I got up at 8:30 it was 76 in the house

105?! We have 108 here in Roseville....yuck! Although, I do not think you can feel the difference of 3 degrees.
Jen and Lisa, I didn't think it got that hot there! I guess I think of Northern CA as being cool. I guess that's only right on the water.
Those sound more like our temps!

Talked to a CM at Luigis and he said RSR was up to 7 hour wait yesterday!!:scared1: No way I would wait that long. But BV and Carsland looke awesome!!
That is just plain crazy! :scared1:

Haha I top out at 20 minutes :lmao: Bridget- what was your wait time for the FP?
Me, too! LOL Well, now I do. I have waited up to two hours before fastpasses for Splash Mountain. Now, we are just too spoiled.

I hope it's died down lots by the time the Diva trip comes around.
I hope it dies down by October. That's when I'll be there next. I wonder if they'll decorate that area for Halloween.

Can you imagine waiting all that time then having it break down.
That's what Noelle was saying. I think I'd cry! :sad2: :rotfl:

We had my gpa's memorial today. My gma almost passed out a few times from the heat. We had to keep cool rags around her neck and luckily there was a lot of shade. It went well and so many people showed up to pay their respects. One of my distant cousins showed up - he used to be an actor and would tutor me when I did drama back in high school. He now runs the animal shows at Six Flags (downgrade, I know), but said that the next time I show up to ask for him and he can probably get me over to pet the dolphins :goodvibes We have never done that - it would be so cool!

Did any of you watch that move with Mark-Paul Gossler called Dead Man on Campus? My cousin was the student that narrowly escaped getting hit by the blackboard that Mark-Paul threw out of his dorm window :rotfl: I had forgotten about that until just now!

Anyways, I hope you all are staying cool!

So I can't post this on Facebook, since some of my friends are caseworkers with Children's Services......but I just got a call regarding Addy's little half-sister. We knew that Addy's bio-mom had fallen off the wagon, but last I knew, she had finished re-hab & started working on getting her GED. Well I guess she's not doing any of the required classes and such set up for her, she's dropped out of school and sounds like is still using. Since we have her other child, we are being asked if we want to take guardianship of Mia. We wouldn't be able to adopt her since she is half native American. The tribes won't allow a child to be adopted. After a million questions about guardianship......the real only differences would be a different last name from ours and we'd have to submit a letter to the courts once a year to give an update on her life.

So within the next month or so, we possibly could be coming parents (again) to our 8th child!! Mia is 4 (turned so in January) and she looks like Addy. I know Addy will be thrilled to have her sister with her. She asks about her all the time.

WOW......a 4yr old, twin 5 yr olds, 6yr old & 11 yr old......running loose in WDW this December.....that should be interesting!!

All I can say is...you and your husband's ability to love your children the way you do knows no bounds!!!

I have been MIA for a bit. If it's not school, the kids, church, husband, insert here____, it's something that keeps me away from my computer. It has slowed down some sooo here I am!!

Looks like there were some chatter about shirts, scavenger hunt, family additions, up coming trips...gosh, it's been too long!!

So...what plans HAVE been made? Tell me when to be there, where to stand, what to do and what to wear, I'm easy going like that.:hippie:

I'm just excited that (unless the USAF has other plans for us) I'll be able to attend this trip.

Also, has Billy and the Hillbillies been moved?:confused3 Gosh I need to catch up. Maybe in the morning over a cup of joe. Night all

Got this in email today from Touring Plans:

Disneyland Crowd Tracker Updates!
October 19, 2012: Resort-wide Crowd Level updated from 3 to 4.

They must have heard that there are Divas headed to DL! LOL

Aloha, ladies! I just got home last night from a fabulous week on the Big Island, and I can't wait to go back.

I'm not too worried about shirt colors, as I don't always wear the color of the day. Just call me a rebel. Or a cheapskate.

Good morning, ladies! :)
Welcome back from the islands, Tina. I bet it was hard to leave.

Have a good Monday everyone!

Good morning!

It feels more like late afternoon for me. Just got off my first shift at Michaels. Worked 5am-10:30. And tomorrow I work 4am-12pm. :scared1: It will take some getting used to, but I love being home so early in the day. And of all the areas of the store to work in, they put me in the Disney sticker section! Now there's about $50 in stickers that I want. This job isn't going to make me any extra money, lol.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. :)

Welcome Home Tina! How was the trip? I loved following along with your pictures :beach:.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I had a very busy weekend (both my boys' birthdays) which was nice because it was fun and kept me occupied. I was a little worried about father's day, but I kept my focus on Justin being the great dad he is....and uhhhh yeah, that's what I focused on. :goodvibes

Highlight of my weekend: When my brother-in-law saw me, he asked me if I lost weight. I don't see any difference myself, but he hasn't seen me for a while, so maybe I've lost a little. Miracles can happen. :rolleyes1

Happy birthday to your babies!!

And I bet you have lost weight. When you see yourself everyday, you don't notice the difference as much. I went to the doctor the other day and when they weighed me, I had lost 10 pounds!! And I haven't even been trying??? I guess I've been so busy with my new life that I haven't been eating as much :confused3. But I'll take it!

Which is exactly why I never pursued a job at a craft store. LOL

Aloha Tina!
