Hello ladies! It's a beautiful day here in Vegas. Sunny, blue skies, breezy, and only 75 degrees!! I've got my windows open and am loving it. Such a nice break from the 106 and 103 we had over the weekend.

I know it won't last, but for now, I'll take it!
Hope everyone has been having a good day. I don't know if it's the weather or the fact that it's Monday (or maybe too much Mad T for me this weekend) but I'm just feeling down today. I want to curl up with my kitties but they are hundreds of miles away.

I hate days like that and I hope you are feeling better today.
PS- While we were there, we took some time to get started on hunt stuff.
Does that mean we might get a theme announcement before too long??

lol
Glad you had fun at DL!
I am also feeling MUUUCH better than yesterday. My temp spiked at 103.5 overnight on Sunday going into Monday but after an all day rest and sweating out my fever to the point that I had to wash my sheets , I am on the mend.
Oh, good! Sounds like you are on the mend. That's cool some friends are able to join you at DL.
We travel from S. CA to other places all the time (Utah, Colorado, Idaho...), so we go through Vegas all the time and often stay overnight, but I haven't "GONE" to Vegas for a very long time (have to admit much of the environment is not appealing to me

). We're staying at the MGM Grand. We're seeing Cirque due Soleil "Mystere", Penn & Teller Magic Show, and Menopause the Musical. I'm way excited!

I've wanted to see Cirque du Soleil forever.
We don't drink alcohol, but we'll still drink plenty of water and I think the idea of the cabana is a great idea. My sister's husband is giving her this week for her birthday, so he can pay for it

Environment as in on the Strip? Or as in the desert? LOL
I live up in Summerlin, near the Red Rock hotel. I like this area a lot. So much nicer than other parts of the valley and while it's only about 25 minutes from the Strip, it feels like a world away. Nice restaurants, parks, library, schools, shopping, walking trails, etc. We even have a nice view of Red Rock from our upstairs bedroom window. If only I could do something about the summer heat.
The Strip is fun. I have to be in the mood though. It can get crazy and crowded. Luckily as locals we get tons of freebies and discounts. But, I personally try to avoid it in summer. Too many tourists.
MGM is nice. Great pools!! We love their lazy river. Definitely have your sister's husband spring for a cabana. It will make the day so much more pleasant.
Mystere is good, you'll like it. Menopause is funny! We just saw it for the second time a month or so ago. Took my teenage daughter, and even she liked it. (that's one that comes up for free on our locals deals) I have yet to see Penn and Teller. You'll have to let me know what you think!
