Hi Ladies! Sorry I haven't been posting much lately, but I've been super busy with this new business, trying to really get it off the ground.
So I've been reading the reports from the mini meet, and I'm thinking I'm really going to have to make an effort to go in March, if only to make sure Callie pays homage to our boyfriend instead of sleeping!
My AP expires in Feb, so I'm going to have to start squirreling away some money for this trip. But it sounds like you all had such a great time, that I really want to be in on it in March.

What do you guys think? One idea I had was that for our Thursday night pizza party that everyone would bring a dozen "treats"--either cookies, candy, etc. for dessert to share. Would this be too hard for the gals coming from out of the area? The other choice is to get something from Costco.

Beth: any word from Lorealle on whether we can use the conf. room?

I just emailed her earlier. I also asked for an update on how many rooms are booked so I'll let you know when I hear anything.

I'm coming from out of the area, but I can still bring something. Some cookies or a box of candy or whatever, shouldn't be too hard to toss in my suitcase. Just let me know.
Also maybe someone can make a grocery run for us. I don't drink, but for those who do, what were you thinking of? Beer? Wine? Vodka? All of the above??

I have to pick up Christine from school, and we have to bring EVERYTHING home since she'll be in Uganda next semester. So, I'm coming either Dec. 15 or 16, until the 18. I already got my Ent. rate for the Hojo's, unless I get something better on Priceline, but $59 is a great rate!

Maybe I'll find some Pumpkin Fudge... mmmmmmm!!

Great minds think alike. I found this cute recipe that I was going to make treats. Also, since I am local, I can make a run to the store if needed. BevMo is super close to me too. Just let me know as it gets closer.

Maybe we should havet "hostess" or "co-hostesses" for each event/activity/meal/tour we do. Someone to make the arrangements and keep everyone up to date with what's going on for it. That way one person isn't having to do everything. It can be overwhelming I think.

Stacie, I think that's a good idea. That's kind of how it worked out last time, with one or two people in charge of a tour or a meal or the photopass or whatever.

Cheryl and Michelle are already doing the pizza party, so I'll leave it up to them if they want another assistant.

But we will definitely need volunteers to make and keep track of other things like the tour reservations, meals, etc. So anyone wanting to help out, don't worry! We'll be calling on you for sure.

We have the VIP Tour to think about. This is the list I have for that:

I have 13 people signed up, but the tour only holds up to 10 guests, so those signed up for that tour need to think about how they want to divide the group and what day they want to take it. Last trip it was done on a Friday. How did that work out for you all who took it then??

Also the cost is $125 an hour with a minimum of 6 hours for a total of $750. If you divide the group in half (more or less) you'd have 6 people in one group and 7 in another, which means each person would pay between $107 and $125 a person. Correct me if I'm wrong, lol.



Then we have the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour.

As for meals, we know we have the character meal planned. Carnation Cafe will be one meal. Maybe we could do that as a dinner? Either Friday night or Sunday night?
And some wanted to do the Blue Bayou too. Maybe for lunch on Friday?


I'm just tossing out ideas here, but I need input from all of you. I'm not doing any of the tours. I'd fall on my butt if I tried to do the Segway, the VIP is too rich for my blood, and I just did the Walk in Walt's Footsteps. So I really shouldn't be the one to decide when they are, those were just my suggestions. LOL I'd rather those actually going on them have more say in it. I was just trying to space them out so if someone wanted to do more then one tour, they could.

OoOoo, I like this idea! I love to bake (when I feel like it ) but yeah I'd love to bring some treats. I just need to know if anyone has any allergies to anything so I can make modificiations if needed.
