Wendy and Cheryl, there are so many things I could say about the "in and out" and "animal style" references but I don't want to get banned from the DIS so I'll be quiet and save them all for March.

I don't care about the design--the only issue I see with Sarah's design was didn't we have trouble last year getting a company to print a mousehead or something because of copyright concerns? So as much as I love that design (and I do--Tink is one of my "new" favorites) I'm not sure we could get it printed (and frankly don't know if the one I suggested could be printed by a company either)

I do know that I really hope we have a lime green shirt this year. First, it's the Disboards color so it would be really appropriate. And second it's so easy to spot (I know when I saw Chris' team with the boas at MouseAdventure this year you couldn't miss them!--LOL)

So, don't care as much about the design as long as the shirt is lime green!!!!

Maybe we should not focus so much on Disney then and more on the Ladies Only aspect. Like the martini shirts for example.

I didn't order a tee last time because I didn't think I was going at all, so I don't remember much about the designing and ordering process.

So far I think we've all agreed we want short sleeves, lime green (or part of it lime green anyway), not too tight (LOL), and something that everyone can buy/find/make easily. Oh, and hopefully a V-neck or scoop neck style please.

I know I'll be fine with whatever the design is. I just want it to be something that everyone can easily purchase or make since not everyone has access to a printer to make their own tees.

I'm at work making the long dough. Don't know what that means, but my brother says it all the time.

That is more us than anything else I have seen.

I don't want to offend or anything, but that shirt does look a little busy to me. And my chest doesn't need that much happening on it.

You're making dough?? What kind?? Is it chocolate chip? I love chocolate chip cookie dough!

Yeah, I really like the funny princess one, but it is sort of busy and like someone else said, it might scare some of the kids.


What about something like this: (maybe on a white tee and change the lettering to pink and lime green instead of the purple??)

Or something like this with our names, and then underneath we could put in lime green lettering something like "Girls Only Trip Part Two" or "Girls Only ~ Taking Over the Land Again". Or whatever. LOL I'm not good at that sort of stuff. Or maybe "Just the Girls March 5-9, 2009".

Of course these are made by the DISigners so we'd be back to finding a way to print them out onto transfer paper and each making our own. I don't know. Maybe that would work better. Then each person could make sure they buy a white tee that would fit them properly.


Just throwing out ideas here. Feel free to throw some back. LOL

ALOHA ladies! I'm back from Maui and finally over my jet lag (we took a red-eye flight in last night). Obviously not able to catch up on pages and pages so I'm just jumping back in here. Looks like y'all are discussing shirts for the March trip. I like the one Stacielee posted. Not gonna offer my dh's services this time. I'll let someone else have a stab at the creative thing, and I'm still uncertain if I'll even be in a position to come in March. I honestly don't even remember the dates. I better go check the first page again! lol.

I'll post a link to some of our Maui photos over the weekend (once dh gets them on the net).

Today I have some major cleaning to do. Gotta go through all the kids' rooms and clean and organize. We are coming up on birthdays and Christmas, so I need to make room for more "stuff".

Busy day tomorrow. The base is having a Kids Day celebration. So we'll be there during the early afternoon. Then oldest daughter has a girl scout party in the late afternoon. Then I get a nap....

Sunday is a relaxing day. But I do need to do some cleaning and organizing in the kids' rooms as we have birthdays as well as Christmas coming. And I'm not even ready to talk about holiday shopping.

I don't want to talk about holiday shopping yet either. I wandered down the toy aisles in Target the other day and I just don't have the first clue what to get for the kids this year. They are all outgrowing toys, but not really into anything else.
And we talked about going to my in-laws for Christmas which means buying many, many more presents then usual because of all the extended family we'd be seeing. Needless to say, I'm really not thrilled with that idea.
