Good story. Me thinks you may have found a good way to pay for your Girl's Only Trip. How else do you know all about stripper shoes???;)
:lmao: Oh right. Unless they are paying me to stay out and keep my clothes ON! :rotfl2:

Um, Beth did I miss the stripper shoe thread?:confused3
LOL Nope, not a thread. More of an idea. They come in handy when convincing the hubby it's time for another Disney trip. ;) Or whatever he needs to be convinced of. :rotfl:

For the true DISer at heart we've got the DIS Lime Green, also known as Tinkerbell Green:

But if the situation calls for something more drastic we've got Disney Fire Engine Red:

Or Mickey Ears Black:

Well I think I might convince hubby of anything in those but it would be useless because I would break my neck coming down off of those things.:rotfl:

At least you didn't post any of those clear stripper shoes. You know how I hate the idea of toe sweat and the clear shoes getting foggy.

I just feel so sexy, a bit like a slimey pod-like vegetable found in gumbo.

Whisper huh? Well there is a strip club here in Vegas called The Library. I bet you'd fit right in there. :rotfl:

There was a college bar we all went to at Ohio State called the library. So, quite convenient to tell your parents that of course you were studying, why just last night I closed the Library down!!!

How is it that you know all the strip clubs by name?

Me thinks she doth protest too much too. Of course, word does get round, people do talk.;) ;)

Ewwwwwwww, you and toe sweat!!!

Hey, I am going to DL tomorrow and will end up with Michelle/ZOemakes5 as a roomie if she will ever get her hiney off her cell phone!!! Busy busy busy. I swear that girl should have an antenna sticking out of her head.

No offense taken. :) Being a child of the 70's there were a gazillion Amy's in all of my classes and I always hated that. Oh and the singsong around my house was "once..in love..with amy...always in love..with amy". Still drives me nuts to this day..lol.

Amy (sue2)

Sorry slipped a quote on my last one!! Yeah, I heard a lot of Pure Prairie League's "Amy, what you wanna do...".

Hey, at least it short, didn't have a lot of bubbles to fill in on test sheets!!!

Amy

Hey Beth, I just added you as a friend on Facebook; at least I hope it was you!!

My stripper/hooker name is Diva! Sorry Okra. I found this great tip for you though:
One suggestion for handling okra so that it is not slimy: While okra is still whole, rinse thoroughly, pat completely dry with toweling.
You can pass out cards to your customers with that suggestion on it!

There are a couple of bars in Sacramento, one is The Library and the other is The Park. So you can say you're going to the library or park and sound innocent!

I might be going to Disneyland this upcoming month. I just transferred 22 DDRD. Yeah, I'm reallllly in debt:headache: But those $22 will cover my food :goodvibes
Huh? What is DDRD?

Ok cool. I'll check it out later on. We've got Back to School night tonight.

Clever thinking.

I can't believe I have to bump us up again. Ladies, we really need to stay off the second page. I don't want to go around being on number 2.

Hope everyone is having a great evening.

Uh oh, we are getting close to the bottom again. Here's a couple of pictures from last weekend at DL.

My score is on the left! I have no idea what that animal is??

And I have ANOTHER bruise on my arm. Everytime I go to DL, I get a bruise :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I just don't understand it!!

Gosh, thanks, really, I can use all of the help I can get!! Why would Okra be a choice in a random generator. I am noticing that no one else got a name that seems out of the realm of possiblilties.

I just got back from two days at DL. My DD and I spent the AM at DL and DCA with Zoemakes5 and her DD today. We wanted to make TSM this AM, but by the time I had cajoled the two little ones to the back of DCA, the line was already an hour. Apparently others were not plagued by little girls who wanted to talk and smell the roses and stop every 5 seconds to suggest we do something other than walk to the back to DCA. I am not a patient human being, the two may be scarred for life!! Michelle ditched us to get FP for Soarin', so unless her DD squeals, she doesn't know I had a bit of a "discussion" with the girls enroute!!!!!

The trip was good, but I am afraid I wasn't in the mood for dealing with the guests who persistently stop directly in front of you or stand in doorways/entrances occluding traffic. I was annoyed. I barely managed to avoid jumping down the throat of the woman who was pretty much blocking access to the FP kiosks to SpM while she sprayed herself with sunscreen. Inside a building, blocking a thoroughfare. I am thinking anyone with respiratory issues would have been sent over the edge.

Yeah, I think I was just being pissy. The only other one I wanted to choke was a woman who shoved my DD away from the sink since apparently it was vitally important for her daughter to have immediete access to the kid sink. Oddly, this was a the SpM bathroom.

I then took a mental chill pill and channeled my inner OKRA and moved on. (or if I had channelled my inner Okra, perhaps I would have snatched her bald!!!)

Oh, and I saw RYAN complete with his double knit polyester royal blue pleated pants. Looking good, RY-RY!! Sadly Stacie, I wasn't quick enough with the camera to capture the moment. Bummer!!!

All I can say is AmySue...
You are funny, girl!

I was at DL/DCA today. I was surprised how uncrowded it was for a Friday in August. I mean the popular rides had 30-60 minute waits but it wasn't too bad. And the fact that the sun was behind clouds half the day made it really nice out, humid for So Cal, but not bad.

I experienced the House of the Future for the first time...ehh:rolleyes: , it was just okay. Saw the new Monorail Blue, but of course didn't get to ride it, just saw it gliding by. Oh well. Tried to make ressies for The Vineyard Room before it closes, but they were all booked so DD & I enjoyed The Trattoria. Yummy roasted chili and corn soup and Pizzietta Salad. (...and one little glass of wine for me ;) ). Too full for dessert.

Happy Labor Day week-end everyone.:wave2:

PS Love the Pix Stacie!

AmySue I am with you when it comes to crowds. I don't like the people that stop right in my path or the ones that walk with their whole group straight across the walkway. You know, shoulder to shoulder. There is no way of getting around them.

Also the people that stand in the middle to figure out where to go, put on sunscreen, get jackets or anything else. Move over to the side to do this stuff.

Well I hope you ladies have a wonderful holiday weekend. I go back to work on Thursday:sad2: Ugh, when is winter break?
