Hi Ladies! Well, after a whirlwind trip, we're home and getting unpacked and settled in. My dh made me dinner, is currently doing my laundry, and just brought me a big glass of ice water (yeah, I know what he's expecting later

), so I'm ready to post some highlights:
Saturday night: Got into Anaheim about 6:30 pm and went directly to Character Warehouse where we bought a few things. We went to the hotel that Stacie had reserved through Expedia. It was the Ramada Limited on Harbor and was pretty much a dive motel with really thin walls. But hey, it was SUPER cheap, so we didn't complain (much).

We all agreed, not a place we will stay at again. Then we went to Red Robin to eat dinner and had really bad service. It was late, we were tired and hungry and they ignored us.

Won't be going back there again either.
Sunday morning: Too early! 5 am wake up to meet Cheryl at the DL gates at 6:30 am for MM. I can't thank Cheryl enough for sharing her MM with us. We had a great time with an empty park that first hour. We hit, Peter Pan, Toad, Alice, Teacups, Buzz and Kendall and I rode Space twice and then grabbed FPs for later. Stacie and her dd's did Nemo during MM, and then went on Matterhorn. Then Kendall and I went on Matterhorn while Stacie and girls and Cheryl went on Buzz. We planned to meet at King Triton's statue after. Kendall and I finished first and I had Kendall wait by King Triton while I scoped out the Castle for White Vests. Sure enough, I spotted them on the left side near the Carnation Plaza stage area. I sprinted fast as I could back to Kendall yelling her name the whole way. Then I saw Stacie and yelled "Hurry! Hurry!" They knew exactly why I was yelling so they sprinted after me. We all got Dream FPs. I had to take several minutes to recover after running and all that excitement.
Then we got coffee from the cart in the hub. I got an almond latte, which was decent for Nestca-crap. While the ladies were drinking their coffee and eating some pastries, Kendall and I ran to City Hall to get her birthday button. As we were in line, I heard someone in front of us asking about the Lilly Belle, so I thought "what the heck?" and decided to ask for Kendall's birthday if we could ride. The CM said absolutely and gave us a ticket and scheduled us to ride at 1 pm. PERFECT!
We then went to wait in line to see my boyfriend at the Golden Horseshoe. I was first in line for the 11:15 show so we got front row/center. Linda met us there and it was great to see her again. My beloved Kirk sang directly at me & gave me those gorgeous flashy pros-teeth-sis smiles.

I was in hillbilly heaven!
Linda left us at that point to meet up with her dd before she had to start work. I honestly forget what we did after that -- probably used some of the FPs from our passes. . .oh yeah! We met up with Maynard at the Opera House! He was awesome as usual, but Kendall still thinks he's a little scary. I think Cheryl used the word "certifiable". Then we eventually met up with Linda again at the Train Station for our ride on the Lilly Belle. I really enjoyed our CM guide for the trip. His name was D.J. and was an excellent source of Walt trivia and gave us a few insights into current rumors. I told him he should be a VIP tour guide as he was much better than the one we had in April.

. . . . to be continued
