Chris: the "meet" is indeed on Saturday--your plan sounds great to me!

It turns out that DangerMouse and Stacielee and some of their kids are coming in on Sat. night to attend the TSM AP preview on Monday and will be in the parks on Sunday--so some of us are meeting up with them too. And of course Beth and her family will be in the parks on Sunday.

Can't wait for the quests (and to find out the derivation of the name . . . . hmmmmm)

Wait! Now I'm confused - is our mini meet Saturday or Sunday?

I'm putting the finishing touches on "Cazalet's Quest" which is what I call my quests, and I was thinking Saturday. There are others that are also going to try Cazalets Quest at the same time (DISsers and locals) so if any of you are there and want to bring a spouse or kid or friend you may. There should still be less than 20 people, I'm thinking about 8 DIS ladies and maybe 8 (or less) others. So I'm not trying to over run the park with people trying to find things.

Here's my tentative set up for the Quest. Meet at DCA in Sunshine Plaza about 4:15. Quests will be handed out, rules explained, and then off you go at 4:30. (So if you get there a little late, no worries, there is a 15 min cushion). Quests will be handed back in at the same place (unless I tell you differently) at 6:30. Just do as much as you can. If you are getting done quickly and you want to hand your answers in early, just call my cell, which will be on the sheet. Ties will be broken by time. I"m thinking teams of 2, and any kids under 13 can go with any 2 adults, or can be part of a 2 person team, your choice. (I always vote for having the extra person, the extra set of eyes for this type of quest is invaluable)

This should give us lots of things to talk about at dinner! (at 7:20)

Like Cheryl said, the mini meet is definitely on Saturday.

All of that sounds just great Chris! So much fun.

Unfortunately, I was just coming here to post that I am not sure what time I will be there. Ruben works the night before until 2:30 a.m. and while we are planning to leave here at 10, you just never know.

Also we will have the kids so we'll have to stop along the way for potty breaks, and it always takes longer with all of us. Add any of that lovely CA traffic into that mix, plus the fact that I need to go to the hotel first and get them checked in and I just can't say for sure what time I will be there.

I am still aiming for 4:00. But I just wanted to say that it could be later, anytime between 4 and 5:30 depending on those factors I just mentioned. So please, do not plan to wait for me. If I'm not there when time comes around just go ahead and get things going. I will call when I get there, and I'll figure something out then.

I just don't want to set anyone back or keep anyone waiting. I hate that. So I'll hope for the best, but with traveling you just never know, kwim?

Anyways, it sounds like it's going to be great and I cannot wait to be there and see everyone!!!

I'm still working like mad trying to get everything ready. I've got some ironing to do still, and finish packing last minute things. But other then that I think I'm set.

I was just thinking about that, I mailed out the CDs today, there ended up being 701 pictures!!! I could actually put them all on the Shutterfly account, but I don't think everyone wants to see ALL of them!!! I'll put a few up for now though. Just for you, Shelley!

Hey Howdy Hey! Guess who's coming to the Toy Story Midway Manial AP preview??? Oh yeah!

Acutally, I can't believe Stacie has talked me into this. I was so done with DLR after our Ladies' Only Trip. No offense to y'all, but the heat and crowds just about killed me. But I talked my dd(11) into spending her pet-sitting money on a 2-day parkhopper so she's coming with us!

So after almost 24 hours of nervous knots in my stomach, we've got a gas-friendly car, we've got a hotel, and we've got a plan! We're leaving Phx on Saturday, but our passes are blocked out so we won't be able to meet the other ladies for dinner. Darn. We'll be in the parks on Sunday and Monday.

Here's the only dilemma: the TSMM pass is only good for AP holders, and my dd doesn't have an AP. I'm hoping that they'll let her slide through since she'll have on her birthday button and a Disney sparkle in her eye. If not, then I guess we'll just both sit out. She has already argued with me that she still wants me to go without her, but there's no way I would. We're a team and if she doesn't get on the ride, I don't get on the ride.

So keep your fingers crossed for us, and I hope we'll see some of you in the parks!

Anyways, you can count me as another jealous person. I wanted to sign up for the preview, but I knew there was no way I could make it. I hope it all turns out for you, and you do get to ride on it. Be sure to give a full report when you get back!!!

By the way, I have been MIA due to plays, graduations, 8th grade trips, and end of year pool parties. Last night was the last hoorah!!

Yay!! I feel so relieved to have everything done. So today, I'm able to play a little on the DIS.
