Good morning!! Ok I am going to be MIA for the next couple of days and probably won't be back until Saturday morning My youngest has a dulcimer performance tonight and then tomorrow night both boys have a banquet in 2 different cities at the same time. I have to get my nails done, go buy something to wear, finish shopping for one of the banquets, since I work at the school, and then tomorrow I have to pick up all the stuff that was ordered and be at the hall by 4:30 to start decorating UGH I can't wait until school is out.

So if you can either post or PM me all information you might think I need for the mini meet on Saturday I would appreciate it. I can't wait for a little R&R at DCA!!

Just checking in for the late morning. I went to Disneyland yesterday. Yes, I went twice in a week! And I didn't have to drive either of those times! I love it! I'll be going to the TSM preview on Tuesday night (4-8pm) and I'm kind of excited, I might see a bunch of DISers there! Well now I have to hurry and shower because I'm helping my neighbor out today.


I heard something about a mini-meet in October? Sounds fun!

Hi all! I've been putting off this post, but I just can't any more.....I won't be able to make it on Saturday.
On Friday I got a bladder infection. On Monday night, it started moving into my kidneys and by Tuesday morning I was pretty much bed ridden and I've been laid up ever since then. I expected that I would simply take my antibiotics and be much better. However, I'm now on my third antibiotic and it seems like it's finally starting to have some impact, but it's going to be slow going for awhile. They were talking hospital yesterday, but seems that they finally found the right antibiotic, so I'm thinking it won't be that drastic. I was really looking forward to some ladies time, frankly I could really use it! But, even if Riley does lose tonight, I just won't be up to going.
I hope you all have a ton of fun! Think of me.

I'm going to DL! DBF picked up his kids yesterday so the first outing we are doing is going to DL tonight. DD is really excited.

Hey you guys - I am going to be there on Sunday. I have PM'ed Callie and Stacie, I hope to meet up with them around 11 am (having b-fast w/DD before she starts work). Can I tag along for the day? Do you want me to meet you at a certain place, or should I call someone's cell?

The weather should be perfect, mid seventies, not the crazy triple digits we had last time, that was too much for me.

Zoe makes 5, you poor thing, bladder infections are the worst, feel better soon.

I know Callie will like the 70's, I'm more of an 80's girl though. Guess I'll be bringing a jacket! At least it won't be 100 like it will be here in Phoenix.

Sounds like you are going to be super busy!!! Made me tired just reading it all.

I don't think you'll need any info for Saturday other then the cell #'s that Cheryl sent out. Just start calling when you get there.

My ankle happened stupidly, last day of Ren Faire after close I was silly did ten thousand stupid things and ended up distracted by some one being silly with me and I went off the edge of a sidewalk in the park. Its getting much better but have to remember to still not push it too hard.

Aw that sucks. I hope it continues to heal quickly. BTW, my b-day is in October too.

I love the 70's!!! You sounds like my SIL. She is always cold, and prefers it to be 85 or higher!

Wait! Now I'm confused - is our mini meet Saturday or Sunday?

I'm putting the finishing touches on "Cazalet's Quest" which is what I call my quests, and I was thinking Saturday. There are others that are also going to try Cazalets Quest at the same time (DISsers and locals) so if any of you are there and want to bring a spouse or kid or friend you may. There should still be less than 20 people, I'm thinking about 8 DIS ladies and maybe 8 (or less) others. So I'm not trying to over run the park with people trying to find things.

Here's my tentative set up for the Quest. Meet at DCA in Sunshine Plaza about 4:15. Quests will be handed out, rules explained, and then off you go at 4:30. (So if you get there a little late, no worries, there is a 15 min cushion). Quests will be handed back in at the same place (unless I tell you differently) at 6:30. Just do as much as you can. If you are getting done quickly and you want to hand your answers in early, just call my cell, which will be on the sheet. Ties will be broken by time. I"m thinking teams of 2, and any kids under 13 can go with any 2 adults, or can be part of a 2 person team, your choice. (I always vote for having the extra person, the extra set of eyes for this type of quest is invaluable)

This should give us lots of things to talk about at dinner! (at 7:20)
