Can you take the monorail from Paradise Pier hotel to Disneyland?

I'm trying to decide what place to vote for! I've never been on the monorail before!

No--the Monorail doesn't go to any of the hotels. It now only has two stops--Tomorrowland and Downtown Disney.

Last year, Michelle and I grabbed the monorail from Tomorrowland to DTD to get to Goofy's. In fact, I was able to get her up into the Pilot's car, which she had never done before!
So, it takes a great deal off of the walk, but doesn't take you to any of the hotels.

The monorail station in DTD is right by the Disneyland Hotel - but quite a way from the Paradise Pier.

You, and your hair, AGAIN!!!

Yeah, I fear that there may be a contingency (me) who finds relaxing to be a WASTE OF TIME!!!!! Hard to eat pizza and shmooze when Disney is steps away!! Also, some will only be there the first couple days, (again me), so will want to get as much DL time in as possible. Of course, those individuals, (me) could just beg off and go off to the park alone!!!

AMYSUE

Hey......I get to be how ever I want with my hair. And you can be however anit social you want. ;) And I know as much as you want to spend every second of your time in the parks, I'm sure you will tear yourself away for a few moments to have some cheap pizza and beer with us. Come on, you got to eat sometime. So don't give me any sass or I will make you hang out with rotten people instead of me. And you know who they are!:rotfl:

Hey, if Amy needs a buddy to be anti-social with, I'm up for it! I'll grab a slice and a beer and start walking to the parks.

Naaahhhhh, I'll hang out for a bit on the first night . . . how's 7-11 minutes sound? I can make that up by walking reeeeaaaal fast to the turnstiles.

Seriously, I'm going to do my best to be more social this time if I'm able to come in March. I'll even sign up for some of the sit down meals! ;)

I voted for the breakfast!;) I hope my choice wins:laughing: How fun will that be?
Only two more weeks until the mini-meet and DD & I going to the DCA Halloween Party. Can't wait to see all you guys and eat at Cafe Orleans. And I will be hanging with everyone Thurdsday night, extra pizza and wine for me, no park time until Friday morning, thanks anyway. Ha! Callie, you are too funny.
I keep having to correct typos cause I am eating a popcicle while trying to type:sad2:

I voted, too!:goodvibes

Ugh, so I'm having the hardest time with a certain neighbor. We received a formal complaint about my dog's barking. The claim was "the dog barks at different times during the day and night".

IT'S A DOG! What do you expect it to do?:headache:

I'm just really frustrated because what am I supposed to do? I can't be home 24-7 and she's never alone for long periods of time anyway. She is not out past 10pm so she is not violating any "public disturbance" laws. We are trying to break her from the habit to bark at everything she hears but she's exactly like her mom, a watch dog. She feels it's her job to let us know if someone has arrived. The way the neighbor's house is situated is that she has a long driveway so our backyard is really next to the front of her house, so whenever Osita hears anyone pull up or leave, she barks.

AND she's not the only dog in the neighborhood who barks. Our neighborhood is FULL of dogs and they bark way more than Osita. Sometimes she barks in response to the other dogs barking. So technically my neighbor has dogs to the sides and to the back of her property (which is also the next street over. And since we get coyotes, of course the dogs are barking like crazy.

I just think she is being a grouchy old lady and is only blaming us because she knows us and we're right next door.

I get paid next week. With that I'm going to put money aside for Osita's spay surgery ($40), I'm going to get her groomed and I'm going to sign her up for classes at Petco.

If my neighbor continues pursuing this, she will need two signatures from different houses saying that my dog's barking is annoying them, too. I doubt she will ever get them because everybody else on our block has at least one dog.

Thanks for letting me rant, back to happy Disneyland stuff!

Sara! Did you get lost doing a drive by??

I freely admit I am going to be kicking back this trip. I love the idea of hanging out with some adult friends.
Since moving here to Vegas I don't get nearly enough fun adult time and I miss just hanging out, eating and gossiping with some girlfriends. Although no beer for me. Pizza on the other hand......

Um, Hi! :wave2:

Wait . . . who are you again??? :confused3

;) :rotfl2: :lmao:
It's a bird, it's a plane, it's drive by girl!! :moped:

:yay: :woohoo:  :cool1: :cheer2: :dance3: I can't wait!!!

Cristabel, I'm sorry to hear the hassles with your neighbor. It does sound as though she's being nit picky. Dogs bark. What does she want?

I'm going to send an email to Lorealle letting her know of our plans for a Pizza/Beer/Wine/Vodka/Margarita..... oops, sorry I got carried away. Ok, I'm going to let her know of our plans for a meet and greet that Thursday night and see what she recommends as a place to hold that.

Anyone have anything else they'd like me to ask or add while I'm at it? I'll email her tomorrow afternoon, so post here if you think of anything. Thanks!!!! :)

Darn Cristabel....sounds like your neighbor has her cranky pants all bunched up. Sorry.

Yeah, I gotta eat. And I DO like me some beer. Will you do rope drop with me Friday AM come hell or high water or...other extraneous circumtances?

I will be delighted to run away to the park with anyone who wants to go (particularly if they want to go QUICKLY) but I don't think a person can be antisocial with a buddy...hmmm:rotfl:

You better seriously hurry up on the spaying thing. Your little lady is probably gearing up to come into heat pretty soon, any time after 6 months, and fall is one of the "seasons". If you spay before her first heat, you decrease her chance of breast cancer by an additional 15% over spaying her before the age of 3. Also, if she comes into heat, you will have every gonad sporting male dog for a mile around sniffing about your yard. What fun!!
Also if she is heat at time of surgery, more $$$ and more dangerous.

The above public service announcement was brought to you by DR.amysue!!!

Maybe if you just don't talk to each other. :confused3

I sure can, just ask Stacielee! I'm not always the most talkative, but I'm a good listener! :flower3:

Ok, ladies . . . I'm 99% sure I'm coming to the mini-meet. Just nailing down all the details of when to arrive/leave, etc. I've never been at HalloweenTime. I'm sure it will be crowded, but fun! :yay:
