I have several questions
ref: The Tote Exchange....
I know at one time i read that some people were going to fill theirs with things..... could someone clarify that?
I don't want to give an empty tote..and then get one with little things in it..

The guidelines for the tote exchange on are the first page. But basically its for you to spend between $15 and $20. If you are able to find a really good deal on a tote, then the thought is to fill it with stuff or decorate it so that the cost is between that. That way it all equals out. Hope that helps.

Thanks Stacerita... I've already purchased our totes, i never stay on budget when doing exchanges..so i'll put some things in it, anyway..just cuz it will make it more fun.

Now a question for anyone who knows the answer... as i've never stayed at HOJO's...
Do they have mini fridges and microwaves in the room?

That's an awesome deal. I just ordered mine. They even take paypal. I like that it comes with 6 sheets, just in case I make a few 'original' designs if you know what I mean....

Evening all. I just ordered mine from Zazzle today. It was a bit pricey but as I said I am NOT crafty at all so I guess that's the price for not having an artistic bone in my body lol. And I went with a long sleeve because I am afraid it may still be a bit cool the first weekend of march. I am ALWAYS cold! LOL. If it is NOT cool I can always roll up the sleeves but I HATE being cold. Anyway that is one thing down. Mom hasn't ordered her's yet but I will have to do that for her obviously. Anyway as far as the tote bags go we haven't bought ours but we have a really cool thing lined up for ours.

Let's just say this we have a friend who does embroidery and the person who gets ours will get a VERY cool embroidered Disney character on their's and that' s all I'm going to say. She embroidered tink and snow white on some coat for the girls for christmas and they are GORGEOUS so mom and I thought it would be perfect for the exchange.

Other than that I STILL don't have my ticket yet but I have to wait till a few weeks into January. Shane is getting short checks the next few weeks cuz of the holiday and we still have Katy's birthday to pay for next weekend so I have to get caught up first. So I probably will be buying mine the middle of January.

I HATE waiting that long. I already have my April tickets bought but I HAD to buy those awhile back because there are 4 of us going and that is spring break week so I didn't want to wait. Plus I figure it will be easier buying 1 way tickets for a weekend in march when probably not much is going on.

We are coming down around 2ish on the 5th flying into LAX and then we will take the shuttle down. Probably just go over to DTD and shop or something till it is time for the pizza party. Not to sure. Depends on how quickly we get there. Then we are flying out of OC on Sunday around 9 so we will have to be picked up by the shuttle around 6ish I figure. So we have SOME time on Sunday at the parks. So that is our plan.

My stomach is really bothering me for some weird reason. Something I ate I guess. I watched a few oldies on the tv (when Harry Met Sally) and just took a nap. I hope it is better tomorrow cuz I HAVE to go out to take Lynn to the ortho and go to work. Right now I can't get to far from the bathroom. Sorry for the tmi. Plus I am anxious to talk to the surgery consultant to move my surgery. I hate that she doesn't work on Mondays. I hope she will be there on Tuesday and that she isn't off till after the holiday!

I want to get this resolved. I am supposed to do my bloodwork on Tuesday and I don't know what to do if I can't get a hold of her. I guess I could try and talk to the doc. UGH!

Anyway that's bout it. I am going to try and lay down somemore. I hope I start feeling better.

We are checking luggage. So we'll catch a cab to the hotel. I'm going to have prizes with me for the scavenger hunt so we need to check bags.

Thanks, Tracey! That is a really great deal. Just one stupid question -- it says for "color fabrics". Does that include white?? I realize this question probably just proves what a complete idiot I am when it comes to crafty stuff.

Just a thought, do we want to try and all do the same Super Shuttle? It's $8/person each way.

Oh, Yikes. I did not read that detail. No idea at all, but hoping for the best! I did not know you could order them from Zazzle, or I may have tried that.

I have a limo reserved for Long Beach in Feb. It is $90 and that is a great deal. Probably the same for Orange County. Most of the places were about $140 each way.

Kelly, I hope you get feeling better. It is no fun at all being under the weather like that. My sister suffered from Chrones disease for years and it was quite debilitating.

I am also flying out of OC on Sunday morning at 8:30. Maybe we can share a cab or something back. I am not sure what my friends flights will look like, but it is about even with 3 of us and cheaper than a shuttle with 4 of us, and of course more direct.

Oh, your bag sounds just lovely. I hope I get it. Could you PM me a picture of it all wrapped up, so I know which one to try to still? Just Kiddding!!

Ugh...I hadn't even thought about the whole 3 oz thing. My only issue is going to be my hair spray. It's special, and can't be left behind. I'm really going to have to think about this.

Prayer is what keeps me going. I know we all have our own beliefs, but prayer's what helps me.

Mine was nice. We've got two boys/young men living with us right now, so my son Nick, his girlfriend, Yasmin, her brother, José, who's one of the boys staying with us, and I spent Christmas morning together. It was really nice. They all got me thoughtful gifts, and they loved what I got them.

I'm glad your Christmas was nice. It sounds like you had a full house which always makes it more fun.

Morning all. Well last night we watched Eagle Eye and I loved that one.

We were going to rent that tonight and it was all out. Darn. I want to see it. Glad to hear it was good.

I'm still in, when is pff photos Im interested in that also.

We had talked about heading over to PFF and doing some group pics, but we didn't set up a time. We can decide that once we get there. It's not a huge deal. And we also talked about heading over to ride Small World afterwards.
We'll make sure everyone gets cell phone lists so we can keep in touch about things like this.

The minimum price for the tote is $15 (not to exceed $20) and that should include all the materials used to decorate it. So if someone was able to find a tote and get a really great deal for say $10, they could then make it meet the required $15 by adding some Disney Dollars, or some little something inside.
It's NOT required to include extra items IF someone already spent the required amount on the tote itself. Does that make sense? LOL

How cool! I hate flying and flying alone is even worse. I flew alone to the WDW Ladies Only Trip that I started back in '06 and it was a rough flight. I never want to do that again.

Sounds ok to me, but I was thinking we could all pitch in and just get our own van. That way, we would have a direct delivery. I'm not an expert about this though, and wonder how much that would all cost.

I just want to add, that I believe the transfers for dark shirts work great on white shirts. I've read that the color lasts better. I think the difference is that the backing on them is more opaque so that the dark color of the shirt does not show through to the design. I think they will work fine.

Ref: the limo cost..DH said that U-R-There Limo services that we used.. cost around 121 each way plus tip. Then again... we had a limo for 10..as we had 8 people on the trip and ALOT of luggage.

I think the cab we took in october from john wayne to the hotel 1 block from Disneyland.. was around 50 dollars.

Morning everyone.

Tracey I just wanted to say that I would have LOVED to share a ride to the airport but we are leaving at 9:00 PM not AM sorry. And for those talking about shuttles we take the Disneyland express. We used it last time and it was GREAT. You can set it up ahead of time and I think it cost us 17 dollars one way. You get a discount if you book it online. Now sometimes they DO make more than one stop but when I used it in July we were there only passengers and the good thing about using them FROM DL was we arranged a pickup spot and a time and they were there at that particular time. For example we stayed at the Anaheim Maingate or whatever the heck it was called right there on harbor (near Katella) and they had us wait by Tony Romas. We were to arrive at a specific time based on when our flight left and they were there right on time. As I said we were there only customers and so they took us straight to the airport. It worked out great.

It was a little harder on the inbound because they pick up at certain times FROM the airports and we DO plan on using them coming IN from the airport as well but during the day it is every half hour so no biggie. If you get there and they are not there yet you just get a coffee or whatever. We used them coming as well. It only gets hard if it is late at night because then it gets hourly after 8 p.m. or something.

But I was very pleased with them last time and if you can't book online you can even buy a ticket right at the kiosk. They are right by the taxi stands both at John Wayne and at LAX.

What mom and I planned to do if we had flown in to John Wayne is just take a taxi inbound and use the shuttle outbound (that is what we are going to do in April). That way you don't have to wait for the shuttle inbound.

But anyway I am off here in a few minutes to take Lynn to the ortho and to go to work and then I have the rest of the day to veg. Thank goodness cuz my stomach is STILL not right.

Dh bought me some good ole chicken soup and vanilla ice cream last night. That always helps . Made me feel a little better. I don't know if it was something I ate or that dreaded stomach bug that seems to be going round. I wasn't sick to my stomach just the other end (again sorry for the tmi).

But anyway hopefully I feel better before wed so I can deal with Katy's birthday and still go up to Truckee!!

I am still waiting to hear too from my uro. I just want to get that resolved and get my procedure moved and I am nervous about what she is going to say. I am afraid she is going to try and force me to go through with it and I don't want to. But I guess I could always tell her I am not going to I mean they can't FORCE me. I don't know I hate this stress. UGH. Why does she have to not work until Tuesdays. Talk about making things go to the last minute. I tried to call their offices to see if she was even working this week and of course I got their voicemail. Man all this crap during the friggin holidays. AHAHAHAHAH.

I am just afraid to NOT do the bloodwork in case they try to force me to do the procedure but if I just don't do it, dang it I just wish I could get a hold of someone in their stupid office. Why does this have to happen during a stupid holiday week. GRRRRR.
