So now they are saying that Microsoft is releasing an emergency patch 2 weeks earlier than their normal patch release time due to the seriousness of the problem. It's suppose to be available tomorrow, so I'm not going to switch. I'm just not going to visit any websites other than this one and a couple others until I get the patch. I guess the hackers are spreading like wildfire, and thousands of websites are affected now. It's not a virus, it's an actual hole in the browser that allows the hackers access to your info. My cousin is still trying to recover from identity theft from last year, and my mother's bank card was one compromised by TJMaxx. Someone charged $200 on her card before she knew what was happening. You can just never be too safe right now. :sad2:

(I have to keep repeating this to myself so I don't go commando on y'all!) :lmao:
That's right! There will be no commando for you on this trip. Relax for once. You might like it. LOL

Also, 'flip flops' are out, even my $100 ugg flip flops would get me sent away....
You have flip flops that cost 100 bucks?? I sure hope they are comfy! :rotfl:

And yes I would love to get the bracelet if some one can get it for me. DH made me chose between the shot glass and bracelet, but now I wish I had got both hahahaha!
Heather, if no one else has already offered, I'll try and find the bracelet for you if you'd like. Just let me know.

I thought I would add this too since it was so cute! It was my Birthday treat from the Japanese place at PP, we went there for dinner it was very good.

How cute are those!!

Bonus points to anyone who will wear it around with me. I'll try to remember the bobby pins.
I will! :yay:

Yeah, me too! ;) :rotfl2:
HA! Me three. Actually at this rate, I'm going to gain 50 lbs before the trip! Darn holidays.

Anyway I also went to target and got the mummy and mamma mia so now I have more fun movies to watch tonight.
Enjoy the movies! popcorn::

Please blow some babydust my way.

I love having a big family.
You're lucky. :goodvibes

Thanks for the suggestion Molly about the chiro. Actually my MD is a sports medicine specialist and he gives me adjustments every time I go in. It DOES help quite a bit. I was going to ask you also I get sciatic pain a lot as well. Do you think adjustments would help with that also? I was going every 2 weeks but perhaps I need better adjustments or more frequent. He usually adjusts my beck and my neck but I probably could use a lower back adjustment for my sciatic nerve as well.

And here is LOTS of baby dust for you! You can have ALL of mine since I am LONG done with it! ;) Good luck to you!!

And Heather thanks for that suggestion. It is funny that you said that. Dh said something like that as well. He told me to get up at 2:30 that he thought 12 hours would be ok but I like what you said better ;)

They told me I could have clear liquids but I know that isn't enough. When I had to do my barium test those did not fill me up and I got a terrible headache. Plus I haven't gotten my packet yet but I have a feeling they will have a cutoff even for the liquids. At least I will be knocked out. That barium test was the most awful thing I ever had to endure I tell you! I am sure if I didn't have an excrutiating migraine it probably wouldn't have been so bad but that and the fact that I feel like I have to go the bathroom constantly and then they tell you to "hold it" for an hour while they fill you with that stuff. YEAH RIGHT! Plus they had the air conditioning on negative 50 degrees. Sorry for the tmi but that was probably close to the manchurian candidate torture! LOL

Anyway I am off to have my movie marathon. Have fun and don't talk too much! I can't keep up! ;)

I just downloaded Apple's internet browser, Safari. It is now available for windows. So far I'm REALLY liking it, it moves sooo much faster and smoother than IE.

I say just try something different. Firefox does have its quirks, as does any internet browser but I like variation. I bank, shop, and pay bills online so my security is VERY important to me. I don't need my credit card bills to go any higher than they already are but then again with my debts, I don't know who would want to steal MY identity hahaha

:lmao: That's how I feel. Unless they are planning to pay off my credit cards, they won't get very far. :rotfl:

Fairycat, congrats! Please blow some babydust my way. My friends have all been very respectful about things, but Sunday we had our first "doesn't Eamon need a brother or sister" comment, and I'm sure that was the first of many to come. I just said "yes, yes he does" instead of going into TMI-land, so anyway, please can you send some babydust (and please don't be a meanie like a person IRL that I said that to 2 years ago, she made me cry with her answer!)...it's free and make believe but I believe it works.

Bumbershoot who was mean to you, I will bop them in the nose for you!!!!!

Here is a little baby dust :wizard: But I always thought you were supposed to send water :rotfl: It will come when you least expect it, but you will get another little one!!!!!!

All of you people done with your shopping are killing me!! I have one unwrapped present under my tree for a friend, and one on the tree (we got a friend an ornament), DH is still downloading pics for his mom on one of the Digital frames and after that I have no idea what to get for anyone. I don't even know what I want, now that my weight is going to go all over the place so I am scared to get any new costumes, like I originally wanted. :rotfl:

Yes, that was my picture! Nathan was watching the holiday Blue's Clues that was on earlier this week. He loves it BTW. He answers some of their questions by saying uh huh. It's cute, and I'm really glad you suggested it. They have some really great shows. The one where they were teaching about time was really cool. I would have never thought to teach it that way, and they made it make really good sense! :thumbsup2 I ordered Blue's First Holiday from Amazon, and I think Steve is wearing his sweater there also...It looks cute, it's the story of Blue as a baby and his first holiday.

:)

Kelly-I'm a nurse on a surgical floor, but I didn't tell you this. We all know why they don't like you to eat right before surgery, but did you know that 8 hours is more than enough time to empty your stomach? If your surgery is that late...why not wake up early and have a light breakfast? I didn't tell you to do that, and I wouldn't tell them that you did that, but I'm sure people do it all the time. ;) Also, if your surgery was scheduled for 6am, they would have still told you 'no eating past midnight'. It's just one of those standard things that we say when in actuality, the time really can vary depending on the procedure and the time it's being performed. :thumbsup2

Yep. My cousin's kids have congenital cataracts, and have had a few surgeries each, and from her conversations with the anesthesiologists, that's definitely true.

If you, kelmac, were a baby or little kid, you could even have breastmilk, b/c that's now considered a clear fluid (thank goodness!), if you talk to the anesthesiologists who keep up to date.

If you have any questions, you can contact the, you guessed it, anesthesiologist to get clarification, as they are the ones who truly know, since they *have to* know.

I love having a big family.

I have a big extended family, but no one talks! It's crazy. Then again, my dad is the "black sheep" and he passes along NOTHING to me, so they might all chat away like crazy, but it never filters down to me. It was even worse when I still lived in CA (where many of them live), but since I've gotten older I try to contact them while I never did that when younger.

Thank you very much.

Yes, chiro can definitely help for sciatica. That condition is just awful. I've had bouts of it a couple times...once when very very sick and unable to move, I got the worst case. And I knew from the past that getting up and moving was the best for it, but when I would try to do that it would hurt more, so I just sat on the couch more, and it was bad. Finally I started to feel better (I'd had strep FOUR times in one school year, and we were rowing on a lake with a horrible algae bloom that our coaches were ignoring until it actually hit the newspapers, so all of us were sick sick sick that year, and it just slammed me once the summer started) and I forced myself to walk, and slowly it cleared up (and I was going for chiro care as well).

But from my experience, you want the more gentle adjustments, and it's not *always* something that needs an adjustment right there in the hips for it.

Since PTs and sports medicine people are taught more of a "hurts here manipulate here" form of bone-moving, it would probably be better for you to fseek out a nice, gentle DC. It was funny...I went to college and had an Exercise Science major which helped me get my prereqs for chiro school. I was in the classes with a bunch of pre-PTs who couldn't get into the 3/2 PT masters program at my university. They made fun of me *dreadfully* because they thought chiro was so useless, it was awful.

Then I was in chiro school, it was a couple years later, I got my alumni magazine, and there was one of my fellow students on the cover. He was one of the WORST at teasing me, but there he was, doing a PT version of a chiropractic adjustment, on the cover of the alumni magazine. So much for chiro being useless, eh?

But I'd find a chiro (or maybe a very traditionally taught Osteopath) for the adjustments...I'd rather see a PT for PT stuff rather than a chiro who took a PT seminar, and I'd rather see a chiro instead of another practitioner with a bit of adjusting experience. :)

Thanks for the babydust!

Ooh, water...could that mean the snow that will likely show up tomorrow is a good sign? :) Thank you for your good wishes...my IRL friends were done with babies long ago and think I'm nuts, and especially think I'm nuts because for me, personally, with my own body, I don't want to do the whole shebang involving metformin, clomid, etc etc etc. So they think I'm bananas AND think I judge them for doing it (I don't).

I started on a big long story about the person who hurt my feelings, but I erased the many long paragraphs, and really, the end of the story is that she said something out of her pain, and it hurt me because I was already in pain, and it's quite possible she feels bad about it, but I really have to work on letting it go. I think at the time it was some sort of attempt at saying her time trying to conceive was somehow more painful than ours, and I do think that the people around me in "real" life sometimes feel that if a person has not resorted to medical assistance then they don't really care, they aren't really trying, but I just really don't want to partake of western medicine.

Anyway, it was a moment almost 2 years ago and I have to let it goooooo.

Forgot to mention the shopping. This little trip we took the other weekend really damaged our Yule shopping! We're not done, at least to what I wanted to do, but we can't do more b/c of the trip. I've now started talking rudely about that silly person who keeps forcing us to go to Disneyland and spend all our money...:rolleyes1 :cool2: :sad2:

Ok ladies............I'm going to try and post the picture of my ornamants. I'm not very savvy at this. So if it is huge, please forgive. :rolleyes1

Good Morning everyone!

I'll have to look into this KMS 'stuff'. Does it have silicone in it? I avoid it at all costs. I love Wen and Ojon becuase they are sulfate free, and my hair color last sooo long with them. The sulfate free shampoos are also great for cleaning, but not sstripping all the healthy oils out of your hair. However, they do not remove silicone completely, and after a while, your hair dries out even further becuase the shaft can't breathe with all the silicone built up on it. Long explanation, but I've found in the end that the longer I'm gong silicone free, and using natural oils on my hair, the healthier it's getting slowly but surely. I'll look into it though because I'm always up for trying something new. The 'cheap' hair line that I use sometimes when I'm on a 'I'm spending too much' kick is Healthy Sexy hair. Again, it's sulfate free.

I have an idea, and I want to throw it out here. I have a digital scrapbooking program from Creative memories that includes Disney themed pages. I would love to make us a digital scrapbook after the trip. Everyone could email me their favorite photos, I could include them with the photopass pictures, and make a nice little book for us to have to remember our trip by. I think I could make CD's of the pages, and you could print them out at home, or I could have the books printed. Printing the books is not the cheapest, but they are adorable. Let me know what you all think, and if you are interested in participating, tell me, and I'll add your name to my list.

I totally agree with the color stripping. I have found that my color lasts much longer now. Even weeks after getting it done I get asked if I just did it.

And I would love to participate in the digital scrapbook. Let me know what I need to do.

Well, that's nice you found something that works. I'm still searching. My problem is my hair is thinning and I lose lots of it daily. First the docs told me it was stress, but now they say it's just hereditary since my Mom and Grandma both have thin hair. I'm thinking of just getting a wig!! LOL

Some years back I almost went the wig route. I had a bout of alepecia and lost tons of hair off my head. I also lost all my eyebrows and eyelashes. It was horrible. Docs said it was from stress. Lucky for me, my hair all grew back, as did my eye lashes. My eyebrows didn't all come back though.

It that adorable!

:goodvibes Molly, I'm sending all the baby dust I can your way. I've had a long drawn out history including clomid in 2005, then losing 2 babies in 2007, to finally figuring out the program, and surviving two high risk pregnancies. I know how hard it can be to think you'll never have your dream com true. I wish nothing but the best for you.

I also understand how unsympathetic people can be. After I lost my second child, my SIL told me "if you get pregnant again, I don't want to know until you are in labor." It really hurt my feelings, I think it was her backwards way of telling me that she was emotionally hurt by my loss, but it still cuts me to the core when I think of it today. I need to let it go also, but it's sooo hard. When I got pregnant with Nathan, we didn't tell anyone until we had to, and even then I waited until people asked.

Now, after having 2 babies a year apart, people act like I'm the biggest you know what on earth. Everytime I say I have a headache, or just don't feel well at work, people start in on me...."you're not pregnant again are you?" So what if I am???

The morale of this story is, your damned if you have them and your damned if you don't. Some people can find ways to be rude without even trying!

Thought I'd add one more, while I know what I'm doing.

This is Kaitlyn, my youngest going to school on Halloween Day. She got first prize for her costume. She is 15 years old now. :sad2:
