Hey Steph !

Well I'm tired, uncomfortable, tired, sore, tired and I've been having the worst heartburn ever!! Besides that I'm just fine :rolleyes1.

Hope your family is well too :flower3: .

My super secret remedy for pregnancy heartburn -- mint chocolate chip ice cream! Really, it worked for me! :goodvibes

Oh and Linda if you read this I wanted to say, before I forget yet again, that I love the new sig picture of you and your honey. It's so pretty! You look stunning and he looks very dashing. What an attractive couple you make. :goodvibes

Ugh, I always had heartburn during my pregnancies too. Then with the twins it was twice as bad and came on much earlier. I had Tums in every purse, every coat pocket and every room in the house. I ate them like candy.

Well, at least you got your daily calcium requirements!

Awww. :goodvibes

Yeah, bawling kids would not make for a good Christmas experience.

I can't watch Bambi. I'm afraid to see "Nemo." Anything with animals and sadness does me in.

And forget those movies where there's a dog, a cat and a duck (or whatever) who inexplicably form a bond and together search to get back to their true homes. Can't do it.

I even had trouble with "The Incredible Mr. Limpit."

Hi Everyone!
Just checking in. We had a lot of lay offs at work and so I have had to pick up work from vacated positions - ack! But I am very grateful that I still have a job.

Thanks for the compliment, Beth. It's from last year.:)

That's how I am right now. I have bottles of Tums everywhere and I have a couple rolls in my purse!! My DH always asks if I really need to have so many. He will never understand :headache:.

You know what. About twice a week I get the Oreo Mint chocolate chip shake at Carl's Jr. for dinner, and on those nights my Acid Reflux when I sleep isn't as bad :scratchin. Maybe your secret remedy has some validity to it . I'm going to go to the grocery store tonight and buy me some Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream to keep in the house and tell the family it's doctors orders :thumbsup2.

No kidding! :rotfl:

The who??
No, wait. Don't tell me! Is that the fish one?

There you are! LOL Your welcome. I noticed the pic right away a few days ago when you posted, and I kept forgetting to say anything.

That's too bad about the layoffs. It's so sad and right before the holidays. :guilty: Things are bad around here too. Everytime I turn on the news something else is closing or some business is laying off workers.

That sounds like a plan! :thumbsup2 And your right, husbands will never understand. :sad2:

Ok I am back from taking the girls to school and going to the doc. It is funny I looked up on the net and was actually able to find people who explained the EXACT thing I have and the explanations given were either shingles or costochondritis. And sure enough I went in and my doc said since I don't have the rash you usually get with Shingles he thinks I have the other one but IF I get the rash to immediately come back in. But for now he is treating me for the other which is an inflamation of your ribs. SO I am taking an antiinflamatory and he gave me some exercises to do. It is better than it was but it literally felt like I was being stung by a bee or wasp. It is not as bad but it is not getting better either. But it is bearable I guess. We shall see if it gets better. As long as it is not shingle though I will be happy. DON'T need that! Anywho I have some pics I will add here and I did a trip report for Mouseplanet but I may just add it to the trip reports section here too even though it is geared for MP. I have over 200 pics but I picked a few for here. We had a great time overall except for the rain day and then my getting this weirdo thing. It was surprinsingly cold. I knew that going into it but I wore my jeans and coat most of the time. I have over 100 photopass pics too and when I get my CD I will share those as those have most of my group shots.

LOVED the Candlelight procession and Osborne lights although I like DL's candlelight better but their's is more reasonable on the cost.

It was just great all the way round!

Anyway here are the pics.

Hey all!

This is just a quick hello from work.

DS is wearing Tigger shoes in the pic. I loved that pic becuase the only one paying attention is DH. My eyes are closed, and the boys are doing their thing, but DH is oblivious to all of it! :) It speaks volumes about my life!

I just wanted to give all of you a heads up in case you are buying for any Bratz lovers. Mattel, the makers of Barbie have won a court case claiming copyright infringment. The judge ordered all Bratz products off the shelves after the holidays. So, if you have a Bratz lover, better grab some toys quick!

Talk with you all later.

Heather

Kelly, I love the pics!! So pretty. The lights are spectacular. The rain pic does look slightly cold and miserable though. LOL Anyway, thanks for sharing. I'll take all the Disney and Christmas I can get right now!!
I'm glad you went to the doc. I hope what he gave you starts to help soon. :wizard:

Heather, thanks for the info on Bratz. That's crazy. How can they claim that? The Bratz look nothing like Barbie at all. :confused3
Barbie's just jealous. :rolleyes1
My girls loved the Bratz dolls (and Barbie too, but not as much) but this is the first year none of them have asked for any dolls at all. First they outgrew the Disney cartoons and now they are outgrowing dolls. :sad1:

I might buy a few anyway. Just to have. So thanks for that info.

Thanks Beth. I have SO many pics. Those are just a taste LOL. And yes it was pretty chilly even in the pics with the sun. It was in the 30's or 40's in the mornings and got up to the low 70's in the afternoons with one day getting to the high 70's, the day I wore the T-shirt, but otherwise it was pretty chilly. But then I am always cold LOL. As I said I will try to post my report on the trip reports board but I am just not as good at posting all the matching pics so it will probably be boring without pics.

I am going to order my CD though in the next day or so and that has better group shots etc.

We did have a great time though and other than that one monsoon day it was pretty great. Now I just have to concentrate on getting my ticket for march although I have to get a little money ahead first!! ;) Gotta get through Christmas and Katy's birthday! It looks now too that dh may not be able to go with us in April which really stinks cuz that is Shelby's birthday trip but his stupid job is messing with him like they always do and they took him off his big job when he got back so now he is afraid to take any more time off. And of course I already bought his plane ticket for April but at least southwest will give you the credit but still!

Anyway I am off in a few minutes to the parent teacher conferences and I STILL have not heard from my girl scout leader about tonight. I hope we either DON'T have a meeting or if we do I may just send the girls with my teenager cuz I still have so much unpacking and laundry and lots to do.

And FYI I know I told you guys I don't drink so just so you know (and in case anyone was checking, the beer was my mom's and I DO drink the occasional margarita but otherwise I don't drink). Just took the pics for the fun of it. ;)

Oh and by the way what happened with the little test before I left? Did anyone have the answers? Who won? Is it somewhere I can go back and see the answers? I would love to see what they were! :)

So it sounds like I get to go to Disneyland for my birthday next month! My mom and friend both are pushing for me to go and it sounds like they are going to make it happen one way or another. At this point, I don't really care about staying at the DLH...although it would be nice!

Kelly, I love your pictures! It looks like you all had a great time. :goodvibes

Good riddance to the Bratz! They are just a bit too trashy for my liking!

LOL I remember how huge I got with the twins! Seriously uncomfortable towards the end, to say the least. But so much fun!!! Wait until you take them out in public. My favorite thing to do was walk the mall, holding them both in my arms. :goodvibes
All my errands used to take me twice as long because I was always getting stopped by people wanting to look at them and ask me questions. Who knew twins were such an attraction??

Careful, they will probably be partners in crime though. When one couldn't reach something, they'd work together to get it!! :rotfl:

Just curious, do they sell those baby holders for twins? You know you usually see a mom with the baby in the holder, strapped to her like a front backpack?

I can't watch Bambi. I'm afraid to see "Nemo." Anything with animals and sadness does me in.

The only thing I can think close to that movie is homeward bound but that's two dogs and a cat.

Yeah for Disneyland!

Heather... it's a Great Family pic! My grandchildren had those little leather shoes with an elephant's head, a monkey face and a frog.

Kelly, Great Pics! It looks like Your family had a great time! This time next week we will be there.

WendyLouWho...i agree... those Bratz dolls are so trampy! my daughter and her husband never let their children have any of them, thankgoodness.
Yeahhhhhhhhhh You get to go on Your birthday trip:goodvibes How are you feeling? Much better i hope!

When is your birthday again? I know it's before mine, but how close? Mine is the 18th. And you removed your ticker for that trip!
