They're not the greatest pictures but it was still cool to see. Hope you're all having a great weekend.

Steph

I thought they were very cool--and your kids are adorable!

Hey, I saw your guys dates. Me, and DH are going to be there 5-12. Sounds like you ladies have tons of things lined up.

Alright then! We should plan it for the first part of January. After the holiday madness has died down for us all. :thumbsup2

I think I am going to have to work the second weekend of January as one of the groups I advise is planning a retreat for that Sunday, but the first weekend would be good for me. Or, possibly MLK day... Can't wait to play with you and Amy again!

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! I had an excellent 4 1/2 day weekend! I was so excited to be hanging out on the dis for the weekend. Well, on Friday I had to take my computer in to get it wiped out. I had a virus. I just got it back today. So there goes my disweekendpalooza. Oh, well. I am happy my computer works again.

I love the DL sweatshirt! So cute!:goodvibes
Ugh, sorry about your computer. I'm glad it's working again though.

That's ok, the second weekend is too close to Ruben's b-day anyway. It's the 13th and we might be doing something the weekend before.
So what about either Sunday the 4th or Sunday the 18th?

Amy, if you are reading along, either of those better for you? They will both work for me, so I'll let you and Jane decide. :)

They both work for me too, so the ball is in Amy's court...

Steph, Those are great pictures!!! Do you live near Edwards?

Oh, and your kids looks so cute!:cutie:

Ok, I'm totally jonesin' for Disneyland today. I want to be there! This is usually the week we go and we've been listening to visionsfantastic radio and I have my CA friends staying with us to are AP holders and have only gone once since September -- ONCE!! And they didn't even realize they could get into DCA until I told them. Oh, and the one time they went, they didn't even use fastpass!! :scared1: It's insanity. :sad2: They don't even know how to navigate the park correctly. I feel obligated to go home to CA with them on Sunday and take them by the hand and lead them through DLR the "right way". These poor people are CLUELESS!

At least I printed out my 8 page "tips sheet" for them to read before their next visit and hopefully they'll report back that they now understand how much they needed the "Improved Disney Experience."

Oh, and my AP expired yesterday. :guilty: :sad1:   I may just have to hook up with Stacie on Friday to visit the Character Warehouse.
Callie, I know exactly what you mean. :headache: So any times, this is what I hear too. Just today, my SIL called me, to help give advice to a friend of hers. At least she called.

We have already received a complaint about the dog "barking at various times during the day" but of course we don't know who put it in but we do have a feeling that it was the same neighbor. We don't have homeowner's association. The only thing I think she would claim is that my dog is a "public disturbance" but she does not bark 24/7. As a matter of fact she isn't barking right now, she's just laying down outside. She did start earlier today because of the gardeners next door. When she hears sounds (people, machines, etc) and she can't see them, she gets a little freaked out. But I stopped her right away and she was quiet.

I totally understand, when my dog it TOTALLY bothers me. That's why when we're home we correct her and stop her. She tends to bark towards the back of our yard (there is a different backyard facing our backyard) so I tie her down, giving her enough leash to play, eat, drink except to go towards the back fence. Usually then she will calm down and be quiet. If it ever persists more than that she comes inside. We are trying everything to get her stop barking (commands, rocks in a bottle, spray bottle etc) but nothing seems to work. It also doesn't help that she is a crazy puppy. We got her fixed already and really hoped it would calm her down a little bit but she seems the same crazy active dog. I do take her for 45 minute walks but once the other dogs start barking, she starts up too. I'm thinking the only next step is to get a shock collar.

She did use the term "sue".

We have not gotten complaints from any other neighbor, not even my elderly one on the other side of our house. It seems that this particular neighbor just feels like taking it all out on us because 1) we're the closest 2) she knows us.

UGH.
:grouphug:

I finally finished my huge statistics homework project. :cool1:
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hello! I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!
Thankyou! My family celebrated today. :cloud9:

We're about 30 minutes from each other, and the warehouse store is about in the middle, maybe a little closer to me.

Speaking of the warehouse store, here's pictures of 3 things I got; I now have a favorite new jacket!!

This one is more of a dark army green, not really brown; it was $17.99, regular $46.

This one is a neon green, close enough to lime green; $17.49, regular $28, not as good a deal as the others, but the color works!!

Cute stuff! :cutie:

I am so up for cheesecake and shopping!! Anytime....
Me too! Me too! :yay:

Look for a PM this coming week.

Well, you all have been very busy here on the boards.

I spent the day with my cousins and my sister and we all had a wonderful fun day. There were lots of gals to help with all the work, so I was not completely dead on my feet like I was the last two years when I hosted.

Then, inspite of my best intentions, I did go out and do a little shopping. We are one larger suitcase short for our DLR trip in February, so I got a fabulous little set for a door buster price of $20. I did swing by the DS and darn if they didn't have the Xmas Jammies on sale. I also get my kiddos new jammies every Xmas, and so I had to scoop some of those up. It's sort of an ongoing joke. Can I open just one present?? Please, please!! Okay, son, but I get to pick it...and there they are, every year, the new jammies.

My other tradition is that the day after Thanksgiving, we put our tree up (artificial) and then I take a picture of the kids, and turn it into a picture Xmas card. I am not finished yet, but here is one I have been messing around with. (My husband worries about posting pics of our kiddos online, but I know you guys are safe, but don't tell him!)

I really wanted to get the tree, the boys and the pup, but I was really challenged this year. The dog was easy, it was the 6 year old that was giving my grief. Do you see that little devilish glint in his eyes?

Anyhow, looking forward to 2 more days at home!
Adorable pictures of your boys!! :goodvibes

I miss Black Friday shopping, I would go if I had someone with me. I'm not one to brave the crowds alone.

I did some shopping online this morning.

I don't thinkg you are crazy for that. I agree if it's on the shelf, it's up for grabs. It's the people that take things out of my cart that get me mad!

Can I write off a DLR trip that is used as speech therapy? :thumbsup2 That would make it really nice!

DS watched Blues Clues this morning with the biggest grin. He really liked it, and when Mr Salt walked onto the screen, he waved and said "Hi". It was cute.

Beth, were you the one that mentioned Breakfast Lasagna? I want the recipe, it sounds really interesting.

I'm glad everyone survived the day yesterday. Today is my 3rd anniversary. 3 years ago today, I was at WDW getting married. We had dinner at the Chef's Table at Victoria and Albert's. A Disney Makeup Artist did my makeup and hair. We had breakfast in the castle with the princesses. My DH even wore a matching shirt with me proclaiming it as our wedding day. What a nice trip we had. Happy anniversary to me!!

Hi there!! Sorry I missed your post earlier. That's cool you two will be there when we are. If you have some free time, or can sneak away from your hubby at all, please feel free to join up with us for a meal or tour or whatever. :thumbsup2
Just PM me if you have any questions.
