So, what's everyone up to today?

It's a pretty quiet day at work because it is "Study Week" otherwise known as the week before Final Exams.

I am working on evaluations. We have to evaluate everyone here--myself, my supervisor, my supervisor's supervisor, as well as all my colleagues and the 5 people that I supervise. It is exhausting, tedious and time consuming. :scared:

So far today I have finished the one for my intern, and now I need to start my self evaluation:headache:

But, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Exactly 3 weeks from now we will be having brunch at Goofy's as part of our holiday plan. I have also dropped about a thousand hints that I would love to receive the Fantasmic reserved seating package as my Christmas present, but I am not expecting miracles as DH likes F! at DHS way better than at DL. I know, that makes him weird, but what I can say, I love him anyway!:confused3

Anyhow, Happy Cyber Monday everyone!:santa:

Hi everyone!

We had a good Thanksgiving, Osita behaved during most of it but of course strange neighborhood = strange dogs = barking. And it was freezing in Lancaster so I brought her in and put her in her crate. It was so cute seeing my niece interact with my dog. My niece, Jasmine, will be 2 in May '09 and she would walk up to the crate, clap her hands, smile and say "doggy". It was ADORABLE.

DAT (day after Thanksgiving) I worked 3:30p-11:30p and I was exhausted when I got home. I woke up late the next day and I had work at 10am! So I called my manager to confirm that I did have to come in and thankfully I didn't! So I went back to bed:lmao: It was a really lazy day. Sunday I went to church and work 12-4:30p, stopped by Lane Bryant afterward and got a pj set and undies (yay for money!)

We watched a rest of This Christmas and tremors (I have a friend who looks a lot like a young kevin Bacon). It's kinda creepy

School is wrapping up and I'm surprised how fast it went!

If you don't like quiet, you can always come over here. There is usually some sort of noise happening. Right now, the boys are fighting over a block. I guess the other 25 blocks aren't as interesting. :)
:rotfl2: Nope, they aren't as interesting at all.

Any Harry Potter fans here?
I've never seen the movies or read any of the books. :rolleyes1

I've never seen Tremors. Is it any good?

I made some cookies today, which I really shouldn't have. And I'm watching The Other Boleyn Girl. I rented it last night and never got around to watching it so I figured I better before it's due back. I hope it's almost over. The kids will be home soon, and then the homework/dinner/bath chaos begins.

Beth: how was the movie? I read the book--which I thought was good-but couldn't imagine how they get everything into an understandable movie--plus I thought the casting was a bit odd.

I've read the book and have seen the movie. I liked the book a lot more! I haven't read the book in about 5 years though, so I'm just going by memory on that one. Also, I don't care for Scar Jo or Nat Portman, so that was another big thumbs down to the movie!

Nat Portman I like--Scar Jo not so much. But it seemed to me that I thought they got the casting mixed up and they should have had each other's parts. I've always been a big fan of the whole Henry VIIIth saga, Lady Jane Grey, etc. but couldn't force myself to go see the movie.

(and, was Girl with a Pearl Earring the most boring movie EVER?????)

I agree, Nat is OK...yay better then Scar Jo, that's for sure. I wish they would have cast some lesser known stars, I was so disappointed when I saw who that chose. Oh well, too late now! I'm a big fan of that time period. I love the dresses!

Yep, it was so boring I didn't even see it.

It's good in a cheesy, omg-were-these-the-special-effects-back-then? kind of good. I like it and it made me laugh.

I wanted to bake today but I woke up sick and I'm not really having the energy to do it, which is really good because I bet I would get the energy to eat them all. :lmao:

I liked the movie alright, but then I never read the book. I looked up Anne Boleyn because I wanted to know more about her and the info they had on Wikipedia was too involved. LOL
I lost interest after a few paragraphs, so the movie told me as much as I cared to know.

There is an ad at the bottom of my DIS screen that says something like "Get the whole enchilada" and is for Mexico vacation packages. It's not making me want to go to Mexico, but it IS making me want an enchilada.

You take the enchilada, I'll take Mexico! :cool1:

Mmmm....enchiladas.

I made spaghetti and meatballs today for dinner (Mondays are always my night to make dinner) and it was yummy! Time to eat again (I ate "linner" at 3:30).

I will most likely be going to the gym, unless I can't overcome this sleepyness.

Steph, Those are great pictures!!! Do you live near Edwards?

Oh, and your kids looks so cute!:cutie:

Thanks. We actually live on Edwards AFB. We're hoping they let us go out to the shuttle before it leaves. They did that last year when it landed here (but I was in Texas during that time....and dh didn't want to take the 3 kids out there by himself so he didn't go). If we're able to go, I'll post some more pics.

I hope you all had a better Monday than I did. Let's just say I have had so much thrown at me today that it's making me wish that I was leaving for this trip tomorrow. I released some stress by playing Wii Fit for an hour tonight though. That boxing things is a great stress reliever.

That sounds good, but not as good as some gooey, cheesy enchiladas with some chips and salsa.

Can you tell I haven't had dinner yet? :rolleyes1
