Our group didn't go to it.Thanks for the link! It sounds like lots of fun to me. So, we basically tell the VIP guide exactly what we want to do, and they try to make it happen? What time do you think the tour will start? Are we only doing the 6 hours? How do you work meals into the tour? I'd hate to waste 1.5 hours of paid for tour time eating! Sorry for all the questions. I've just never considered doing it, but can see how this trip might be my one and only chance to do it. I'm now thinking I shouldn't have had Beth take my name off the waitlist. Also, reading that thread, a person mentioned that the front tables to Billy Hill were dream awards. Well, when we go there will be no such thing as a dream award!
ETA-I just read "somewhere else" that there is a special VIP room in DCA with refreshments for those doing the VIP tour. Is this true?

I totally understand. My dog is nearly a year and she eats anything and everything off the floor and barks at me constantly. I really need to learn more patience because she gets me so easily frustrated.
They didn't have it?! That's outrageous! Every Disney store should have received their shipment to put them on the sales floor today. I should know, I work for Disney Store! I picked up mine today.
Bolt looks so cute, I can't wait to see it!
From what I understand that's pretty much the way it works. You should have a game plan of what you want to do and see, and they will run and get FPs, get special seating, etc. to make it work for you. Thanks for the link! It sounds like lots of fun to me. What?? Why?My day started 5 hours ago, and already I feel like I can write my own version of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. It's gotten to the point where I decided I just don't want to go to Disneyland in January.![]()
Back at ya!
If you want your name back on the waitlist, let me know.![]()
I'm still waiting to hear from momrek06/Kar, Fairycat/Heather, and bsbllmom/Cheryl.

As for meals, that I don't know. When I sent out the PMs, the price I quoted was for the minimum which is the 6 hours. If ya'll decide to do more though that's fine as long as it's a group agreement.
I agree that this trip might be your only chance for the simple fact that if you went with your family, you'd be paying the entire $750 yourself. That probably isn't feasible for most people right now. Lord knows I sure couldn't afford it!!!![]()

Well, unless they want to eat while on the tour, I think it's going to have to be one or the other.Question about Friday - with both the VIP tour and the Blue Bayou lunch, are these "compatible" on the same day? Or would the tour then start after lunch? Some of the ladies on the tour have also signed up for the BB lunch, so just checking....

There has been talk of the tour being from 10-4 and the BB lunch will be early, but not that early. LOL Whatever time it opens for lunch, is when I am planning to make the PS for. As early as possible, but most likely it will still conflict with the tour.
Sorry! And we can't bump back the tour because then it will cut into the Carnation Cafe time, which can't be bumped back because it will cut into the DVC tour.
There simply isn't time to "do it all". LOL I wish there was, but some choices will probably have to be made.

I thought I would make a quick pop in to voice my opinion as I am eating my delicious micromeal lunch and scanning the boards to see what's new.
As someone signed up for the VIP tour, 10-4 sounds great to me, especially if we could catch breakfast beforehand. I do NOT want to spend part of the VIP time at BB for lunch and would prefer to snack along the way if people get hungry.
Your name is on a VIP list, so when you go to the area for special seating the CM will just let you in.I completely agree! I need an excuse to get a corn dog and not a 'real meal' anyway!![]()

How does special seating for Fantasmic and the fireworks happen if your tour ends at 4pm though?
