Hi all!

I'm just dropping by to take care of some business.

I think I'm going to take my name off the waitlist for both tours. I think they might be a little much for my first trip. I want to run around like a chicken and see everything! I'm worried the tours will crimp my style. I haven't heard of any tours that run around like chickens.

I would like to add my name for some meals though. (I have to eat good food to have the energy to run around like said chicken!)

So, can I be added to the Pizza Party list, the Blue Bayou lunch list, the Carnation Cafe dinner list, and the Chip N Dale breakfast list, please? :drinking1 popcorn::

I know the question was asked the other day about the time for the breakfast. I was thinking it would be great to have it a little later. (9, 9:30, 10) I plan on getting up for EE/MM (I can never remember what it's called now!), and if we eat later, that gives me time to really run around like a chicken before eating. That's my thought, but I can go with the flow also. :fish:

What times were you all thinking of doing the two meals on Friday?

Thanks all for your hard work making this a special trip for all of us. You all deserve an extra dose of pixie dust if you ask me! :tink:

Try Malibu and cranberry. Its a yummy drink. Doesn't actually taste like a drink though. I consider it a health drink. The cranberry juice cleanses you know.

I agree..

I would if I knew what Malibu was. :rotfl:

:lmao:
There's also Pineapple Malibu, goes great with pineapple juice.

and

Mango Malibu, goes great with orange juice.

Malibu is really great and totally girl friendly. :thumbsup2

I haven't had mango...

:rotfl:

As long as he's hot, I don't care what he's called. ;)

If he's HOT!! I will call him whatever he wants me to..and he can call me hey you girl with fruity drink...:lmao:

Well, that sucks. I didn't know that. :rotfl: Here I thought some people's sigs were cut off and I guess it's only on my itty bitty laptop that they are. Oopsie!

My turkey is cutoff. still...

Oh man..while you girls were talking about drinking...i was out drinking..
I am have a huge headache today...But I have gotten a lot accomplished.

Oh man and I saw ok so I drunk texted (after 12 I am not responsible for my text abilities)...DBF ('member we are on a break...so he can figure stuff out)....anywhoo...he was out with friends..I was out with a friend. Anyways..this is the first time we talked. I am suprised he answered me.
But anyways..it was interesting.

Hi Heather. I'll make those changes for you now. As for times, the BB lunch will probably be around 11:30 and the CC dinner around 5:30-ish. But we'll have to see when they can accomadate us before we'll know for sure.

:scared1: Drunk texting!! Uh oh. :rotfl:

This morning is going fine. Slow and lazy. I did some cleaning. Some laundry. Whoo hoo. Soon I'll make lunch. Turkey wraps. I know. You are all jealous of my life. :rolleyes1

Hi everyone
Happy Saturday!
I was up at 5:45am this morning!:scared1: Because I had to stop at the local donut store for a dozen donuts to take to the store holiday meeting, put gas, and pick up a fellow co-worker. On my way to pick up my co-worker, my grandmother calls me telling me how she called my house and my parents on their cells but no one was answering. I told her, "MOM (what I call my grandma), it's 6am! Of course no one is answering!"

Well the fires over here are pretty crazy and my aunt and her family have been evacuated. They are awaiting news while they stay at a hotel in Chatsworth. Luckily my uncle's sister took the dog to stay at her house. I was worried about poor old Pax. Now I can see it near my house. It's so warm! :sad2: This is definitely not November weather. I expect this in October but November?!?! So please keep all those people in the San Fernando Valley in your thoughts and prayers.

So the meeting was fun! I won two Bolt posters and a pair of Voluntears ears. We also get to wear a t-shirt that says "BOLT Now in theaters" and on the back it says "Let it begin! Let it begin!" for next Fri-Sun and Nov 28th thru 30th.

So much stuff is going on and I'm excited.

25% of the entire store going on now! if you have a bounceback coupon (if your preordered Wall-e or received it earlier) you get that on top of the already 25% off for a total savings of 37% everything excluding media. :dance3:

Ok ladies--here's another possibility for the March trip. I saw my Disney 'guide' (the fancy name they use for salesmen for Disney Vacation Club) last week (he was in Florida at the same time) and asked if it would be possible to get some of my buddies in to tour the new DVC models of the units being built at the Grand Californian during the Ladies Only trip (I know that some of you are interested). Anyway, he got back to me and responded that not only would it not be a problem, but that he could arrange a special mini-event tour for us (the models would be closed other than for us), Disney would provide some refreshments and a "welcome package" for each attendee (whatever that is). So, before I say "yes-let's set it up" I wanted to see if there actually was enough interest among you.

He indicated we would need to do it Thursday night (not possible--pizza party) or Friday night (possible--after Carnation Cafe dinner). The models are over near the Disneyland Hotel. I chatted with Beth, who indicated that the current plan for Carnation Cafe was a 5 or 5:30 dinner--which means that those attending the dinner could eat and then walk it off during a stroll over to the Disneyland Hotel/DVC center to meet at 7:30. It would probably take an hour to an hour and a half.

So, is anyone interested in doing this? There would be no obligation (in fact, in my experience even when you set up individual tours with DVC it is really low-key).

Thoughts?

I definitely will. I hope you and your family stay safe!!

Cheryl, you already know I am in for this!! I'd love a private tour of the new villas! How awesome. And refreshments too. :rotfl:

I'll post an update to your post in the title so everyone can weigh in with their thoughts.

Cristabel: when they give you shirts to wear (like the Bolt shirt) do you get to keep them? That would be soooo cool!

Cheryl, assuming I go (and the urge to make sure I do is getting stronger day by day), you KNOW I'll be in on that tour. The question will be...just how many tours and events will I go on before I Just Do It? :)

We already have a savings account going on to work up to a re-sale tiny contract (small as you can get) just to get "in the door". But don't tell the guide that.:goodvibes

Yuck!! CalifGirl (Chris) just called me and she is at Disneyland and said that it's totally smoky and ashy from the fires. And now the fire in Corona has jumped the freeway (towards MY house :scared1: ) I hate these fires. I love my house, but hate these fires that happen every few months.

You know you're a true Disney geek when you say "forget the fires--I'm going to Disneyland!" Maybe I'll just spend the day at the GCH bar if it's too yucky there!

For all you Twilight fans.....

Edward and 3 of the girls are LIVE at our Music Video Station in Toronto! If you girls had all lived in Hamilton with me you could have been there tonight. It's about an hour away but it is not the weather to be standing outside right now.

Supposedly they are about to show a new clip of Twilight that has never been seen before.

Bye!!!

I'm intrigued to see them even though there's no way that we can join at this point. We need to buy a real life house and get out of the renting market before we can buy into a vacation home!
