I believe they use ART so it's not free to use. But I could be wrong :confused3.

Again, I'm gone for a few days and miss a lot :sad1:. And once the baby is born, I'll even have less time to DIS. As long as you don't forget me, I'll survive .

I ended up caving and taking DD to see Twilight instead of Bolt & it wasn't that bad for her age. I thought it was going to be a lot more sexual, but it wasn't too bad & I even enjoyed it a little :rolleyes1.

Of course we'd never forget you!
Glad you enjoyed Twilight. Although I hope you didn't look to closely at Wendy's Edward. :rolleyes1 She's very possessive of her 100+ year old vampire.

Beth, depending on where lunch ends up being held, I might want to be added to the list. I don't do Blue Bayou, but if we get to do the BBQ, I would definitely want to come.

I have several questions relating to airports.
I always fly into JohnWayne..easier, smaller, me likey.
So... Why is Ontario so much less expensive?
Is it bigger? Alot futher away?

If flights are 75 to 100 less each leg of the trip, flying into Ontario versus John Wayne. With a cab ride to Hojos.. added.. what is the difference when You calculate in the cab ride info?

:teacher:

EdUmAcAte me por favor!

OK, you can all shout a great big NO! to me if you think this is a crazy idea.

I know that there was some concern about Carnation Cafe and getting everyone in.

So, my thought is if BB ends up being closed, and the BBQ is up and running, why don't we switch things up a little bit. Those who don't go on the VIP tour could have lunch at Carnation Cafe (that might help get the numbers down a little for seating), and then we can all meet up again after the VIP tour at the BBQ for dinner.

I do understand why you want to do BB for lunch if it is open. So, if BB is open, maybe we could do lunch there, and the BBQ for dinner?

So, that is my 2 cents, and you all can throw it out the window if you want. :) :dance3:

So the VIP tour.. starts at what time? and goes 6 hours?
We go on the tour right after breakfast? That should be alot of fun:goodvibes
Do we have lunch there?:confused3
Or a snack?
Yes i am the hungry monkey.. i haven't had lunch yet.:upsidedow

i am having a very blonde alice in wonderland day!

Dawn: just keep in mind that ART doesn't run for a certain part of the day--around lunchtime--for an hour or two--in case your Mom wants to go back and rest.

Yes, it is probably 40 miles away. I have no idea what the cab/shuttle costs would be from Ontario to Anaheim. Sorry!

I hope that everyone is having a happy Tuesday! I am still struggling through writing all of the evaluations...something that you will probably hear me say again every day for the rest of the week!

Anyhow, a quick drop by here makes me feel a little better about life--especially since we now have a full VIP tour. It's funny, but somehow getting ready to send Tracey my check suddenly makes the trip feel a lot more "real"!:wizard:

Have a great afternoon and I'll check in again tonight...:)

No problem. I'm sure once we find out for sure where we are eating there will be some changes made to the list. Once we know where we are eating, I'll make any changes based on people's requests to be added or removed then.

Sorry, I don't do airports. LOL We always drive in.

WHAT?????? NO!!!!!!

Kidding. You know I had to. ;)

Seriously, I don't care where we end up eating or when, I just want some answers. I hate not knowing. It makes me nuts. I can't seem to get a definite answer on whether or not BB will be closed, and when the heck the BBQ will be up and running. :headache:
So for now, I guess we just wait until we know more for certain.

The tour is from 10-4. So you'll grab some breakfast first, and then for lunch they decided to just something quick like a corn dog to avoid wasting precious tour time.

YAY for "real"!!

Toocherie.. thanks for the info!:goodvibes I'm going to book the trip through JohnWayne..i feel comfortable with that airport.

Momma4U..!oh the inhumanity!.. struggling through having to have a Disneyland corndog..:rotfl: ..i can't wait..:cheer2: i've never had one..and everyone says they are so yummy!

Was the VIP tour last year 6 hours long?! I don't remember it being so long...

I'm in biz law and not paying attention. My throat hurts so much, I might go to urgent care to get it checked out. It could be an infection. I hope not.

Hello Everyone:
We are getting ready to book the VIP tour. We have 6 hours as a minimum, but can pay for extra hours if we want to. My vote is for the 6, but do speak up, if you want to do something different. Majority will rule. Tour Date is Friday, March 6th 10-4. We will arrive full, and grab a corndog or a skewer to tide us over until dinner.

Ideas so far, but looking for more: Okay, I know some of the below is not possible, but it never hurts to ask! Request JD for a guide (never Ryan)

Ride the Lily Belle
Drive the Mark Twain
Tender the Train
Tour the Roundhouse
Tour Pope Ranch and House
Tour Walt's Apartment
View the Dream Suite
View Club 33 lobby
Behind the scenes viewing and info on any attraction!
Special treats at DCA?

Priority Seating for Billy, Aladin, Fireworks, Fantasmic, Parades, etc Maybe Carnation Cafe?

In addition, while we tour we will get all the insider info from the guide,(and we will ask for a copy of the notes to take as a souvenir) whom shall gather fast passes for us while we ride and shop and tour.

If all of this sounds amazing to you, and you have not signed up, please send me or Beth a PM. There are two spots left. If we fill those two spots then the cost is $75 per person plus tip. Otherwise the cost goes up a bit, as Beth previously posted.

We book on Dec. 4, so don't wait too long to respond.

Tracey

Tracey this sounds great.

Cheshiregirl... yeahhhhhhhhhh:cheer2: i'm sending my payment in tomorrow! it does make it fun to have that taken care of!

 Disney Inspired ..I hope You feel better real soon.. i think WendyLady must have given it to you... she's very sick too!:guilty:

JordansMomma ...i'm so happy you are going to be on the VIP tour too! I just signed my mom and me up today... it will be BiG FuN!:goodvibes

Sorry you are not feeling well. I hope it's not strep!

As for the tour, last year it was only a minimum of 4 hours and it was cheaper per hour too. ($75 an hour, $100 an hour? I can't remember.)
Then they hiked the price up to $125 an hour and made it a minimum of six hours. A typical Disney move. ;) :rotfl:

That's why splitting it 10 ways with a group of friends is such a great idea and a way to take the tour without footing the entire bill yourself.

Oh they are. You'll be hooked. And I'm not even a corn dog person. DL is the only place I will eat them at. :)

I'll do the BBQ, I don't really care for BB. Hopefully it will be up and running when we get there!

Sorry for getting you sick Cristabel! I swear I got sick via text message from my friend that was sick. :rotfl:

Don't mind my delirious chit chat!
