You and your Monkeys! I told you, Wendy!
I have no clue what you are talking about! :confused3

:rolleyes1

So I curse all of you who even mentioned the book Twilight on this board! My life is forever ruined because I can't pull myself away from this dang book!! And I'm only on chapter 5!! FIVE!!!!!! All day at work I've been thinking "Man! When is work going to be over? I can't wait to get home and continue reading!"

Curse you!!

;)

Tell your boyfriend to leave you alone and get to reading young lady!

I was lucky, I was able to sneak my books into work and read when nobody was looking.

I love Edward. *sigh* :lovestruc

Another one has been 'bitten'! Are you going to finish the book before seeing the movie?

I'm planning on it! I can read through books (good books especially) pretty fast. I hate watching book movies before I read the book because usually the end gets spoiled for me. Plus I like knowing the details that are in the books and not in movies. :thumbsup2

Anyway, I have more to say about it but wanted to warn Beth, if you take your dd, make sure you do NOT let her see the first preview they show prior to the movie. It was the WORST thing I have EVER EVER seen. I mean, I can't even believe they showed a preview for something so gruesome and appalling. It was called "The Unborn" and it almost made me want to throw up. I felt bad for a mom who brought her 8 year old dd to the movie, she had to sit through that preview. It was truly awful.

Oh my. They did not show that trailer at our showing. I just checked it out and I would NOT have been OK seeing that in the middle of the night in a dark theater. Creepy.

I remember thinking some of the trailers where out of place, being too adult for the average age of Twilights audience. I was way happy to see the new Harry Potter trailer though. Now I need to reread the Half-Blood Prince, because seeing the trailer reminded me I don't remember much from the book. At least I have until July to reread it!

Shut up! Are you serious??? Nooooooooo! This is my one chance to eat there. :sad2:

That's what I heard.

You're going to bigger and better places though, and you wouldn't have liked the food there anyways. :rotfl:

I was wondering about htis since Pirates is suppose to be down. Is the March schedule out already?

I'm hoping to get my name on the VIP tour list now, but hope all of you that want to go can.
Heather, I got a PM last night and had a spot free up on the tour, so your name is now on there. You still want it right?

We saw that trailer when DH and I went to see Role Models a few weeks ago. I would agree that it looks awful, but at least the movie that we saw it at was rated R and I could see where they thought that the audience might be interested (although I wasn't in the least)!

But, to show it at a PG 13 movie seems absolutely unconscionable!

PS: Today could not be going any slower... I am SO ready for work to be over!

I was totally thinking the same thing! I need a nap and maybe some food if I can manage to stay awake long enough to eat it.

Also, I never noticed that you had both monkeys and mentioned candy corn on your little info thingy. We have so much in common! :rotfl:

Hope your day speeds up for ya! :wizard:

Yes please!!!! Yay!!!!
OKay then, you are on.

So that only leaves Debra on the wait list, but there are still two I haven't heard from. They have until the 28th to confirm and if not, then I can only assume they are no longer interested and will add Debra to the list.
The time to book the VIP tour will be here before we know it (Dec. 5) so we need to start finalizing plans. :cool1:

Tracey/trodrigue and Audra/audrabolster are in charge of overseeing the tour and most likely Tracey will be contacting everyone regarding payments as it gets closer.

Haven't had a chance to even read this thread in weeks but I have some great news....I GOT THE INTERVIEW!!!! I applied for a different position at work even though I didn't think I qualified and I actually got an interview!!!! I go in next tuesday! It is still unlikely I would get the job but if I did I would get holidays off and wouldn't be forced to work overtime!!!!! :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: :cool1: :thumbsup2 :cheer2:

Later!

That's wonderful news Sarah!!! I know how hard you have to work now (these 16 hour days must stop!) so I am hoping you get this new job. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

For any of you following my TR, I know I've been slacking, but I finally worked on an update.
Let the stalking begin.....:rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Is it a bad thing that I actually find the little monkeys (ooh and aah) that introduce shows on Playhouse Disney more compelling than any of the actual shows?:rotfl2:

But, monkeys and candy corn rock... now, if I could only find the mythical monkey bride...;)

I agree with you, and my 2 year old DS says that you have great taste!

I was going to announce tonight who won the trivia contest, and what they were offered, but I haven't heard back from two yet, and I want them to be surprised. :woohoo:

I'm also not feeling well, and am going to go ahead to bed. If the last two still haven't replied by tomorrow night, then I will announce it anyway.

I hope hope everyone is out having fun tonight! :flower3:

I haven't caught up on the thread yet, but I wanted to post somethings from last night. I was having camera battery issues UGH! so I won't be posting pics just yet. Sorry.

First off, the place was crowded!! We got there at 5pm and Main Street was so crowded it was crazy. The area around IASW was super crazy crowded as well. NOS and TL were practically empty though.

The castle is beautiful. The decorations were so pretty as well. I love the holiday season at DL.

DBF and I walked on to HM. Sorry Wendy, we saw no monkey bride. We both looked. None was found.

We steared clear of IASW because the line was insane. I just told DBF to wait till later after the fireworks and it will get better.

The fireworks were good. We watched them from the Main Street platform behind the VIP seating. The Christmas tree blocked some of the castle view. But it was great when it lit up during the fireworks.

Highlight of the night, DBF and I got to sit in front of the monorail. He never knew we could do that. When we got to the platform it was empty, so I told him lets sit in the front with the driver, he said we can't do that, I said watch. I asked the CM, she said yes, and so there we were, up front with the driver. He loved it and it was great.

Just before we left we finally made it to IASW. The boats seem a bit narrower, but other than that, there was nothing different that I noticed.

Im trying to remember eveything, but its early. I will post more as I remember more. Let me know if anyone has questions.

Oh dear, another candy corn and monkey gal!! And to think you seemed so normal when I met you.....:rolleyes1 ;)

Oh, and the only way to find the monkey bride is to get into Wendy's mind, and that's a scary place to be. :scared1:

I'm also not feeling well, and am going to go ahead to bed. If the last two still haven't replied by tomorrow night, then I will announce it anyway.
Aww, I'm sorry you are sick. That sucks. My oldest DD Noelle is sick as is my husband. I'm hoping I don't get it but the odds are against me.
Feel better soon!

Wow, it sounds like you had a really nice night. I'm so jealous. I'd love to be able to go to DL alone with Ruben at night. It's more magical at night imo.

Interesting how you both looked for the mysterious monkey bride and yet it was no where to be found. Hmmmmm.......
Thanks for the info! Can't wait to get back there myself which unfortunately won't be until March. But I'll take it!

I hope everyone is having a good day so far! I've got some cleaning to get done. Talk to ya later.
