Girls Only Trip (old planning thread, see link to new one in 1st post)

I am off at 4 as well...it is such a pretty day out...I am ready! Vacations are important...I can really tell when I haven't had one in, oh, say a month! I used to go all the time and now I am lucky to go once or twice a year. I know, it sounds like tons to some people, but when you are used to every month it is a HUGE difference! Good luck planning your get away!

I would make a run too except that I am 2 states away from an In-N-Out burger. My DH may have an issue with me going from the Canadian border to the middle of California for dinner.

We could make it a fun road trip. Although his dinner might be a little cold when we get back.

I would give A LOT for a glass of Magicale at GCH right about NOW!

Same here!!

Maybe..................I never tried the Magicale, but I did find the Rosa at BevMo. i was saving it to drink tomorrow night with my BFF who just lost her grandma, but I just might have to buy another bottle tomorrow......

Ok here's my first attempt, did I do it right??

Speaking of cell phone commercials... I like the new AT&T touch pad commercial just because Journey's "Any Way You Want It" is playing. I LOOOOVE Journey!

My absolute favorite one is the Sprint Speed one with the squiggley lights just because I'm a photo nerd and they look like long exposures. The one where they draw out flowers and boats as it gets darker outside on the neighborhood curb.

The one with the daddy traveling then coming home made me get a lump in my throat too! Those smart advertisers!

I absolutely LOVE Journey too. I just love Steve Perry's voice!

Well I'm going to play Sorry with Ayden. Poor kid just asked if we could go to breakfast tomorrow where they do pancakes like Mickey....oh that would be Disneyland my dear!!! ::::::::Sigh::::::::: not till December

Sounds like a plan! Oh...wait...Dh is "hot" in 50 degree weather. I may not be able to convince him to move to vegas. Hmmm, maybe I need to find that picture of the Vegas sign with snow on it...that may work.

So I just talked to DH, he didn't say no...of course he did say, "wait, what?"

We could make it a fun road trip. Although his dinner might be a little cold when we get back.

Just a little! LOL

Kelly! Oldies are from the 50's or 60's! The 80's were just the other day! Stop trying to make me feel old!!!!!!!
Exactly!! :rotfl:

There ya go. We get snow too. ;)

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner. :thumbsup2

I've never been either, but I hear it's really good :thumbsup2

Plan B, hmmmmmm?????? :rolleyes1 Is that like Beth's "watching TV"?

Magicale and GCH :lovestruc ?? Wow - have a great time

Theresa: we may have to make an In N Out run in Vegas . . . . . mmmm. Maybe a Double Double for dinner tonight . . . . .

I wish I had someone to "watch t.v." with--it's been a while . . . . . :scared1:

We'll have one in July!

I can't stand those rollover commercials!!!! I love the Sprint ones (gosh I think it's Sprint) when you see the bars in every scene. I always liked the one where the dad went on a trip and sent the daughter pictures of her toy at all the places he went to. Now it's the guy and girl where he takes a picture of her and she doesn't know hes there. I'm a sap. If you look though...theres something in every scene that shows those bars out of something. It's addicting, it's like hidden mickeys LOL

I love those commercials too . . . .

I love Journey too--one of my favorite memories is driving up the Northern Calif. coast with the Pacific on one side (lighthouses and all) and a "Journey's Greatest Hits" cd cranked up.

Jen: I think I forgot to quote you--we'll be staying at the GCH on the 9th so I'm sure we can arrange something . . . . . love to see you.

LOL!!! You coming with?

I think I just might do that :thumbsup2

Yes, let's do that!!!!

I thought you might watch some TV in Vegas :confused3 :rolleyes1

Any of you married ladies notice that when you get married your TV watching days start to dwindle? What's up with that...is it in tiny print in the marriage license or something?:headache:

Oh and about the In & Out...I agree with what Tina said, it's just fresh and you can taste the flavor of the burger and the condiments without the taste of GREESE!! I love the animal style burger!!! hmmmm Only thing it's missing is mushrooms! Their shakes are yummmmy too!

My DS would eat at In & Out everyday if I let him. He also loves his burger animal style & he always gets a 4x4. He says for his b-day he wants a 10x10 (which is the most patties/cheese they will do) :scared1:.

Mental note...don't get married.....

Sweet...I can be in Seattle & meet you by 7 or 8!

Perfect! So really, when are the 3 of us and any of the other ladies from western washington/southern BC going to get together? It would be a blast!

I was thinking the same thing. 16 years of marriage equals not too many nights of TV watching!:confused3
