I really don't do fries at all, but with gravy and cheese? I am one of those weird people who don't like cheese much. I only like pizza with lots of sauce and very little cheese. No cheese on my burgers, thank you or in my salads either. But I am all for everyone liking different things, I mean you guys are very tolerant of my cabbage obsession!

So, I won't ask you if you've pooped or not with all that cabbage.

Linda, I don't know if they'll let you in to Canada if you don't try poutine They are really not cheese-y. The curds are mild, fresh cheese, so not strong at all.

I think that looks yummy. Maybe it's because I'm on a diet and really hungry though.

I am open to new things and tastes, so maybe I will try some. But I thank you for the info. Is it on menus like a normal thing in Vancouver? Our cruise is 5 weeks away. I must get a few restaurant recommendations from you when the time gets nearer.

It's not actually at all that many places in BC - more in Quebec (French-Canadian), but it can be found. We have this cute little French-Canadian place here that I used to take Jesse to when he had swimming lessons and he'd always get poutine and a smoked meat sandwich (like pastrami), with a huge dill pickle, with a maple swirl ice cream for dessert. This was after swimming, not before or he would sink
