Anyway that's pretty much my weekend. Oh and for the Lost watchers did you watch last night? That was a GREAT episode!!! I am SO not going to want this show to end. I think it is the greatest show on tv!

This season has been just a lot of confirmations of what I have always suspected, and while I am enjoying that, it just isn't moving quick enough for me, and I don't like having one week in the 70's and the next week in the current time. I know -- I'm hard to please.

Good morning everyone!!

It's not actually at all that many places in BC - more in Quebec (French-Canadian), but it can be found. We have this cute little French-Canadian place here that I used to take Jesse to when he had swimming lessons and he'd always get poutine and a smoked meat sandwich (like pastrami), with a huge dill pickle, with a maple swirl ice cream for dessert.

Do you live anywhere near Vancouver? I have a hotel group in Vancouver and I will be visiting them in early June and I plan to spend a couple of extra days.

My aunt can't decide if she's stayin' or goin'. I don't know what the heck is going on!?!

I've been having that same problem! But she's been staying way too long for the past 5 months. I hate it!! I've been going through all kinds of tests and ultra sounds and nothing too serious was found just a small fibroid so now they've put me on the pill and for the first time since Nov. I made it 3 weeks without a visit! I am so happy!

We had our first confirmed case of the flu here in AZ, actually in the NW valley part of Phoenix, which is where we live. But it's not really close to us. I keep telling my kids and DH to wash their hands!!

Ugh...sorry to hear that for you all! My daughter goes to ASU and a parent email is sent out daily and I am just waiting for the first case to be announced...one saving grace is that because of the drug wars they were having around spring break a lot of the students didn't go to Mexico or who knows how much more quickly it could be spreading. It's already fast enough! New cases pop up each day here in California. I'm sending pixie dust to everyone and their families to protect them from the flu!!

Need to get ready for my day at school with my DD Becky. I'm going to do a lesson on Henri Matisse. The kids are going to collage a bunch of different shapes and figures onto paper. They first have to cut a freehand shape of themselves, and go from there. It should be fun.

I miss those days of helping at the school! I hope you have a great time!

Yes, I live in the Greater Vancouver area (we're about 1.5 hours out, depending on traffic). I used to work downtown at the hospital and it was a nightmare commute - no more I think Linda is here in June too - that's a great time to come, so much to do.

Tell me about it. I thought "his" dad would either be "that" guy or Richard. And I kind of suspected his mom was the girl from the 50's episode too! I like how it is all coming together. We collect the episodes on DVD and I told Shane that when the WHOLE thing is done I will go back and watch it all from beginning to end (of course it will probably take me three months LOL) but then it will ALL probably make sense LOL. But one thing I was wondering last night though, when the 6 left the Island and Sawyer and Juliet stayed where did the REST of the people go? I mean like Rose and Bernard and some of the other plane crash survivors. We know that some of them were trying to leave the Island on Rafts but they didn't make it cuz the boat blew up so what happened to them? They aren't back in the 70's with sawyer right? So are they in the future part of the island somewhere with Sun? I am confused.

That's one thing I hate they just leave people out. And where is Sayid in these last few episodes? Or Locke? They haven't showed the future part of the Island with those people much. I realize they are showing what they are showing but I have a feeling the season finale is going to be in a week or so and I feel like they are going to leave so much unsaid. And next year is IT! ACK! I am SO going to miss this show!

I mean, come on, did she really think she was going to win? She was fired and given the same respect from Trump that everyone else gets. It was a completely white trash moment in her life to act like that. What does she do for a living anyway? I bet Joan will be back though...I'm sure she's not done saying all she has to say yet!

Kelly~ Sorry for you struggles with Lynn. No one ever said the teen years would be easy. You may not be happy about Lynn coming to visit, or get her clothes, but she is still Shane's daughter. You may be bitter about her actions in the last year, but she might be struggling with something that she doesn't feel she can share with you or her dad. At some point you just have to let it go, its not healthy to ponder the past and stay bitter. Just hope that the way you have raised her, will someday help her be a better person.
My BFF was just like Lynn, but way WORSE!! Now she has a great relationship with her parents. Sometimes we just have to hit rock bottom, before we realize we need to change or get help.

I think Melissa went crazy because she was having high school flash backs. I don't think she was the popular girl. She kept saying that it was just like high school. This season has just been very entertaining.

I don't watch Lost, but do watch Celebrity Apprentice......I thought the way Joan & Melissa behaved was ridiculous!! What a pair of spoiled snots......I couldn't believe how Joan went on about this show wasn't about winning money....ummmmm hello??? Isn't that the only goal of this show? Winning money to give to charity.....I felt she really slapped the faces of all the charities involved..... Both of their behaviors were tacky...just goes to show me why I didn't like them before & really have no respect for them now!!

Any Idol watchers or Dancing with the Stars??? I admit it.......I'm a reality show junkie!!!!!! I can't help but get lost in these shows......most of them comical but a few actually warrant some talent. Now if I was only 20 yrs younger I could try out for Idol.........

Well said. Kelly -- While I don't think I could be happy about Lynn coming home, I do think it's so important that you continue to keep a place for her in the home and let her know that she is loved and that you believe in her to turn this around. I'm not saying to let her take advantage of you or take drugs and steal while she's living in your house, but rather just not to close any doors that will be too hard to open later. Just leave room in your heart and your home for some greater power (whatever you may think that is, as AA says) to heal this and get things to a better path that may not be imaginable right now. Do the right thing and leave her space to make choices to do the right thing. I think you have to hold your ground with Lynn as to what is acceptable, but I don't think she needs any further punishment - that poor girls seems so lost right now. Be patient and do what you know is right, even if it doesn't seem that you should have to, not because she has earned it, but because, as a parent you will never give up hope on any of your children or step children.

Thank you. Yes those boxes are stacked up and I figured someone would notice . Oooohhh, we were moving some things around and also ordered some things so all of the boxes were stacked up high (don't ask me why ) and we (my roommate and I) were going to break them down to recycle them. Oh I know there's a lot of staged reality....but I'm not sure Joan's rant, even to make good tv, would want to represent herself as not caring about charities....and that's how it came off. Must be nice to be so rich you don't have to think of others.......

What a shocker Idol was last night....not the elimination but who was almost eliminated.......WHAT???? Granted, I agree that was not one of Adam's best performances....but bottom 2....give me a break!

Survivor was awesome last week, but would have loved it even more if they would have blindsided Coach....what a yahoo!

Amazing Race is getting good.....I died laughing when the cheerleaders realized they hadn't won a prize for being first at the "pit stop" that wasn't a pit stop...... Priceless!!!! Go Margie & Luke.....what a strong mother she is....you go girl!

I don't watch Idol, I can't stand Simon & Paula is an airhead.

I like Simon.....he's the only one that's truthful with these kids..... but I agree Paula is a dingaling......or she has some really good drugs!!
I know a lot of people think Simon is too harsh, but if they're going into the music business they'd better get used to it.....it's a cut-throat world out there. Paula fills these kids head with visions of stardom when most of them won't make it & then they fall hard. Can't candy-coat reality & she's obviously living in "Wonka-land".......
