I love that movie! Especially the midnight margaritas scene.
I cannot believe that tonight I have to go register my son for high school! Seriously, when did my first baby turn into a high schooler.
I know what you mean! Yikes, they grow up so fast. Andrew, age 12 asked me to take him to a Chinese Rest. for lunch with friends. Well turned out to be a double date set up! His first date at age 12! He split the bill with the other kid and then asked me to pay him back because it was expensive ($23) and he didn't think he could afford it. I declined, but took the time to point out that with his earning power, he probably couldn't afford to both date and play video games.
It is just nuts! But anyway we were in Seattle and just wanted to take the Ferry over to Victoria and I had a LOT of problems just going over for the DAY!! !!
Hi Kelly,
The cruise sounds fun. Hope it works out. I grew up in Port Angeles, WA, which is a ferry ride across from Victoria. When I was about 12 to graduation, I guess, we used to walk across the ferry(in groups of kids only) with notes that we wrote and our parents signed saying we could spend the day in Victoria. No problems at all. Boy times have changed.
We'll get a Pirate Suite, you can have the couch!
I'm back! I can not wait until my children are strong enough to get everywhere on there own power. They will walk a little, but tire easily, and I have to hold their hands the whole time.
I promised to kick Stacies boo-tay at Mario Cart in a little bit. Anyone want to join us?
Heather
HAHA-My 6.5 year old can walk on his own power, but I still hold his hand all the time, just to keep him out of trouble. His hand is taller now though!
He wants to buy Mario Kart for the Wii so badly. I have been holding out because I don't think I need to run out and buy a $50 game at every whim, but maybe it would be okay, if I pretended it was for him, but it was really so I could play with you girls
I'm sad. My roses are already dead.
Kids are off to AWANA tonight, and dh and I are having some quality alone time.

That is, after I vacuum, fold laundry and get the house ready for 2 showings tomorrow! Eeek!
Two showings, that's good. Two offers, now that's great
I am a newbie so please excuse the intrusion.... But is this trip open to all? I would TOTALLY be down for a girls only trip. My entire household (including pets) are male!
- tina
My household is all male too, well exceptfor the pup. Welcome aboard.
Exactly what I was thinking. Great minds you know.
Well, can't remember what I wanted to say here, but since it still stands, I'll leave it.
Here's a picture of Sassy. Awwww, she looks so sweet and innocent.....well it's a trick! It's Mrs. Marley in disguise. (We love her lots though. I can't say that she's not a fun dog.....she's definitely full of FUN! And she hasn't eaten our new TV remote yet, so, ya know, I have hope for her.

)
So what is she? Part Beagle, part Dalmation? Now that would be asking for trouble!
And hey, if you ever decide to make the move to Western Washington, we will find you an area you can afford. There are absolutly some of those places still around.
