Girls Only Trip (old planning thread, see link to new one in 1st post)

We could put a wig on him and he could be Diva #3 . . . . .

I want a doggie--I keep hoping one will just magically show up at my door like happened to my Mom and Dad many years ago--he was the best dog. I want a dog to just come find me.

(I also want a tall handsome man to just come find me but that's another story.)

Have a GREAT flight tomorrow!

Let me know when that happens.

Greeeetings Ladies!!!

I'm back, (bet ya didn't even notice) :lmao:

I'm probably 300 pages, or at least 3,000 posts behind. I got REALLLLY sick at the end of March and wasn't able to sit at the computer for weeks. I ended up with an upper respiratory infection that really just knocked everything out of me. I had to take a leave of absence from work, I lost 17 pounds in a little less than two weeks and apparently injured my cartilidge around my diaphragm from the coughing. I was miserable!

Anyway I'm back and am still planning on making the 2010 DIS trip!!
I couldn't figure out how to add my picture to page 1.

Hey Callie....since you cropped your picture from our group shot...can you just crop me for mine?? :worship:

Hope you all are doing well, Now that I'm back you might get tired of me!. :grouphug:

Has anyone been to the Big Thunder BBQ place yet?? I'm thinking it might be fun to go there in October (if it's still open???).

I never have told you girls MY hourly attorney rate . . . let's just say I could give a primo Vegas call girl a run for her money . . . . and wouldn't even have to take off my clothes!!! (which is probably a good thing!) :rotfl::rotfl:

That reminds me, Cheryl. Did I ever submit my bill for phone consultation? (Said in MY best doctor voice!!!!):rotfl:

********

Hey.....it gets lonely under this bus, ok?

Hey Stacie, don't be lonely. I will always be glad to bring you a snack!!!

Ladies!!! I leave for just a little bit, and look what happens!! I have Photopass CDs ready to mail out, are you sure you don't want to change what you said???:rolleyes1

Hey Stacie, you are a vision of radiant loveliness, surely everyone tells you that!!

Hi everyone!! I cannot keep up with you on this thread. I am sure I'd like to comment on more. I am sorry to hear of your friend's accident, Deb? My brother was killed by a drunk driver when he was 22, I was 19. He, too walked away from the accident.

Dawn, Michelle, Cheryl, Wendy, Stacie, Linda and Bree...can't wait to see you all for MA !!!!!

Hi Stacie!

I hope you all had a nice weekend. Mine was busy....Today just made me feel like no matter how far you try to get ahead (or break even) that something will be put in the road and cause things to slow down and/or back up once again...

I have an early run tomorrow so I'm going to log off for the night. Hope you all have a nice evening and that you have a nice day tomorrow.

Ahh Steph--whatever it was, I'm sorry! Remember we're never given more than we can handle.

rut roh==just make sure he's not too little so he can't get through the wrought iron fence. (the dog--not the guy--well, maybe the guy too.)

Ok--is there a special reason I'm now getting ads at the bottom of the page for Weight Watchers???????

We did miss you! I remember reading your first trip report way back when I was new on the Dis and thinking how nice you seemed. Your son is Ayden, right?

I'm so sorry about your sickness and hope you're all better.

Phew!!! I thought I was going to be sleeping under the bus!!! Glad I get in the house!!!!!

Awww--c'mon. I'm not THAT mean!

P.S.--Chase is doing great--thanks again. Of course, now that he feels better he's attacking Raja at least once a day so i don't think Raja likes you very much .. . . . .

Awwww thanks. And yes my son is Ayden :)

I'm doing much better now. Still have the pain in my side that they think is torn cartilidge but I am happy to say I'm back to work and feeling a lot better. I'm ready to start planning DL again! We had only been back for a few weeks before I got sick. I am almost done with my TR.

Thanks! BTW How do you ladies quote multiples in one post easily? When I did mine this morning it took me ages and about 3 windows being open.
I see someone already answered you. Did you get it down?

Oooo, I guess I'm a baaaaad girl
We knew that.

Hey Janelle, I was wondering where you were! I'm so sorry to hear about what you went through. Sounds painful. I'm glad you are better now.

I added the pics to the front page, and can crop the one with you in it. I'll work on that tomorrow. :thumbsup2

Has anyone been to the Big Thunder BBQ place yet?? I'm thinking it might be fun to go there in October (if it's still open???).
I want to go!! I'll be there on my birthday Oct. 24 and was thinking of going there to celebrate. Either there or Cafe Orleans.
Anyone wanna celebrate with me? I'm open to either place. I love Cafe Orleans, but really want to try the BBQ.

Oh Steph, that does not sound good. I hope you are doing ok. :grouphug:

Hi Ladies!

Sorry I've been sort of MIA on the thread. I've been doing other stuff on the boards.

Yesterday, I spent the latter part of the day at Disneyland. I first went to the character warehouse to look for little inexpensive gifts to put in the Fish Extenders on the Podcast cruise, but ended getting myself a t-shirt & a cute jacket instead. Then I went to the Company D store on a friend pass (a coworker's wife works at the Grand Californian & they give me a pass every now and then :woohoo:), so I did find a bunch of pins for $3 each, and some clippy magnets that say Disneyland w/Pooh & Tigger. I also got tshirts for the kids. The store is kind of incognito & I passed it twice before finding it.

By the time I was done, it was after 1:30, so I headed for the parks. By this time I was starving, so I got in line for a yummy corndog. I had visions of raspberry lemonade slushies going through my mind, but after the corndog & water I was full.

Okay - this is turning into a trip report, & not meant to, so went to the Bibbidy Bobbity Boutique, took pics, talked to the "Fairy Godmothers in Training" and just admired the place. It is so pretty in there.

I DID ask them if they did anything for 18+ year olds, and they said yes, and I told them that there might be a group interested next year. I have to admit that I did enjoy the looks on their faces when they asked how many & I said, "oh, 30-40." heh heh They said that they take reservations up to 60 days in advance, and two per reservation. I have a thread going with pictures.

Oh, and I saw 17Again at the AMC theaters -- enjoyed the movie. Got home & told Kelly I saw it, and she said she did, too. And we BOTH said that we couldn't understand why people like Zac Efron until we saw this movie! We were :rotfl: that we thought the same thing & then high-5'd each other. lol

I spent today in the 90º weather selling raffle tickets for our church fiesta at the end of May.

I'm hoping that THIS is our heat wave & we have COOLER weather next weekend for MouseAdventure.

Oh, welcome to the new gals joining us next year - awesome!

I would love to go!! It sounds like fun times :thumbsup2

Hi Mary Jo:wave2: Sounds like you had a great time yeseterday!! Did they say WHAT they would do for the 18+ crowd?? I've seen some of those ponytails they do and I don't know if I could handle that :scared1: More effective than Botox!!! I do enjoy sparkles though!!!
