Holy schmoly - I just noticed how many children you have I'm done in and I only have ONE (yes, I am a wuss - I admit it!)

LOL, we originally had the 3 boys & when they got old enough to not need me like I needed them to need me, we took in foster kids.......so over 8 yrs we ended up keeping 4 of them. They are truly a joy to have in our lives!!!!

Hi Laurie, love the picture! Woman, you are amazing, all of those kids, how do you do it? I am wore out with 2 kids.

I can tell you after adding these 4 in, I can see why I had my kids when I was in my 20's...... let's just say that I sleep really good at night!!!

Has anyone stayed at Candy Cane Inn? What was it like? We like to have a shuttle.

I have stayed at the CCI many times and really like it! It has the shuttle, a decent breakfast, nice rooms with the sinks outside, etc. I really enjoy it there!

I totally agree by the time I am 40 both of my kids will be out on their own, in college or something. Although Kaeleb tells me he is never leaving. He wouldn't have any money for skateboards or video games.

The only one not living at home is the 23 yr old......... My house is packed full of people & kids......... no wonder my hair loves Clairol so much!!!!!

The older boys are helpful, so I really can't complain...too much!!

My mom has to ride in a shuttle/or A.R.T ... and the one at the HOJO i don't think is covered and when we stay at Holiday Inn on South Walnut.. you just walk out the door and it's right there, with lots of seating and it's Covered.

I have to think of her.

And Vicki, I think many, many pages back it was you that asked if I lived near Red Rock. I am about 5 minutes away from the Red Rock casino and can actually see part of the Red Rock canyon from my house. This is my view from my upper window:

So if you were in that area, you were very close! If it wasn't you who asked, then ignore this completely.

Good memory! Yes it was me! Beautiful view! I think the Red Rocks area is such a unique area and my DBF loves it because it is a rock climbers heaven! I drove right past you then all weekend dropping off DBF and then going back to RR to pick him up and hang out at the festival at night.

Welcome Laurie I am new to the Divas as well and the trip in 2010 will be my first trip. Everyone here is wonderful and very sweet. It is hard to keep up at times and your eyes can look like this after a catch up marathon.

7 children you are amazing! I have only one and she will be 20 May 16th - I had it so easy! I now live with my DBF who has two, a 12 yo and a 14yo and just having kids around again and their schedules is tiring me out now especially that I'm 40 something!
