Girls Only Trip (old planning thread, see link to new one in 1st post)

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaattttt sistah friend your brother is a marine? Has marine friends??? I am coming for a visit!!!!!!

He is not in the Marines now. He used to be. Sorry. He does still have quite a few Marine and military friends since he works the civilian side of what he did in the military. And you are welcome to visit anytime.

Cheryl, if I get in club 33, I'd be happy to get you a pin.

Who's on now who was at the first meet in 08?

Me too! There's a photo on page 1, I think, of all of us at the first Diva meet in 2008.

I'm excited to hear all about the new Club 33 competition (of course, I won't be particpating so other's can have the same awesome experience we had). Heather is so sweet to share her member connection with us! :goodvibes

 I had a my entire room covered in New Kids on the Block pictures and Tommy Page.... Wonder what it will be when my girls are around that age....:scratchin

lol

I had the Corey's and Kirk Cameron on my walls. Oh and River Phoenix.

I took a GLORIOUS 3 hour nap today after getting home from CSUF.

It took forever to get there and I couldn't find parking in the closest student parking lot. We have a Marriott hotel on campus (cool huh?!) so I sneaked in and parked my car in their lot.

Like most universities, CSUF has different buildings for different colleges of study. My major (business) has the newest and coolest building! It has a Starbucks inside :dance3:I'm VERY excited to go away to college!

I wasn't so pleased with my adviser, she seemed very unenthusiastic so that sort of bummed me out. At least she did tell me what classes I needed to complete and which order so I can graduate in two years. It looks like I didn't miss the bullet, I have to take college algebra :sad2:.

I can totally see why freshman, and transfers alike, gain weight when they go away to school. CSUF is surrounded by fast food joints, I think the farthest I have to drive will be to the grocery store. Luckily it's not all unhealthy. I think I saw like 4-5 Subway stores and they have a Thai place nearby YUM. I did learn that just down the street is a Big Lots and 99 cent store :thumbsup2

Ok back to Disneyland planning!

I work right by CSUCI and there are tons if fast food places near by. And a Target. They do it on purpose!

I really am not ashamed to say I truly love 99 Cents Store and Big Lots. :lovestruc

I need to get to bed early tonight, but I just don't feel like it.... :confused3 ;)

Steph, I never considered myself old around you, but now I do because I was in the age of girls who had posters of Shawn Cassidy and Donny Osmand on our walls. Although I also remember having Tom Cruise.....:rotfl:

Hola chicitas!

I am the oldest. And the smartest.;)

I loved Corey Haim and NKOTB (specifically, Joey McIntyre) something fierce. I was not allowed to tape or pin things to my wall when I was young, so I had to stash my Bop and Teen Beat magazines in my nightstand. Wow, I thought I was going to marry Corey Haim. I am not sure what's more pathetic---me thinking I was going to marry him or how he turned out. :rotfl:

Yall are nuts tonight! lol

Hey is all this talk about rooms, restaurants, and Club 33 for the Oct trip or the February trip?

How Corey Haim turned out is way WAY pathetic. :sad2: But I don't blame you, he was very good looking them.

I'm getting confused between the Oct and Feb room talk too!

The February trip.

Who owns Disboards?

The man.

:) You're not old! I've been told a lot through out my life that I seem a lot older than I am. Here's a secret....(okay not really). I'm 30 years old. But on most days I feel a lot older and on very few I feel that I haven't aged...until I look back and see all that we've accomplised and then I feel 30 again....only 7 years 3 months until retirement....:cool1: (not that I'm counting or anything);)

He is one dirty little man. And scabby-looking.:scared: Hmm, I still might make-out with him.:rolleyes1:rotfl:(joke!)

I get confused easily. It comes with getting older.:thumbsup2
