Well..not too give to much info....the kiddos I work with have emotional and behavior issues. If they forget their meds...it is NOT a good day for the staff. I knew that going in. I am just getting tired of it. KWIM?

I know. I remember you talking about what it's like once before. I applaud you for doing what you do. And I'm sorry it's been a rough day.

So I've been wanting to ask about this..and with all this kid talk maybe now is a good time. Do any of you have a hard time leaving your kids? I have never been away from Ayden for more than just a night at a time. I went to San Francisco once overnight with some friends and he stayed with my sister. When he used to do overnights with his dad, they were never consecutive overnights. I'm just already feeling sick to my stomach about it.
I doubt he'll be staying overnight with his dad while I'm gone, he doesn't even have a place for him to sleep, and who knows the guy could be homeless again by then. More than likely he'd have some sleepovers with my parents and then stay here with Chris for the weekdays for school. I'm just nervous.....and I have sooooooooooo long to prepare for it lol

I don't really have a problem leaving the kids but they are always with a relative or close friend and I call often.

I'm ready for that now sometimes especially now having DBF kids here. Just tell me when and I'll have my bags packed! I really thought I was through with that but the GOOD thing is that they are his kids and I just let him handle all of the not so fun stuff and I am like a nice Aunt! It's the taxi service when I am trying to work that gets to me.

Let me know and I'll have my bag packed and you can swing by and pick me up!

From the time my guys were very little, we've gone away for weekends without them. They've stayed with grandparents or friends, but we've worked hard to spend time alone together. Partly for me, as I just NEED to get away sometimes, and partly because I've thought it will do them good to know that they can rely on others and themselves (ie., each other) and be comfortable even if mommy and daddy aren't there. Other than one time with Miss Zoe, they are typically mad that we're back so early.
I'm sure your guy will be just fine, and will enjoy the time alone with whomever he's staying with. It will probably be much harder on you than your DS.

That's true, my kids have so much fun with the relatives, especially the grandmothers, that they usually don't miss me at all!

Maybe that should be brought up to Beth...she can organize a kid exchange for the Winter! lol

BTW - I found out the tie dye Mickey shirts also come in V-neck, woo hoo No choker shirts (doesn't the banana make you laugh??)

So you know that photo of myself in the garden at night that I posted last night... the critique didn't go over so well for that today for some reason. People in this class just don't get it for some reason. It's them, not me. 2 1/2 hours of painful critique down, 2 1/2 more to go. I'm about to show the softball ones that I posted a few days ago in addition to 2 more that I didn't post. Sadly, I could care less if that goes over well because I'm almost finished with my undergraduate degree!

I hope everyone else's day is going well! I wish I could be spending my time with you on the disboards instead of in class

She hand ties and hand dies them to order, all kinds of sizes, very reasonable (and she has V-neck - I asked, I don't think it states this on her listings).

I live in California and LOVE Disney land. I recently got an annual pass and am stuper stoked about it. I found this thread about Girls only trip to Disneyland in 2010. Hi Caitlyn--my name is Cheryl.
