I'm so beat from Disneyland and today will be filled with apt cleaning and studying for my classes. I have a music test this Friday.

I need to put my wish list in for events for the trip. Here it goes:
Thurs - Dinner & PJ meet/greet
Fri - all events if there is still room
Sun - all events and would love to do the Segway tour again if we get enough people. I LOVE segway tours

I hope everybody is having a nice weekend! It's beautiful here this weekend and it was fun to see DL in full holiday swing yesterday....really gets you in the spirit

I had a very relaxing day at home today with my family. Did some grocery shopping, made a pumpkin pie for dessert, and worked on Raine's classroom memory books.

I just want this coming week to be over quickly. I have the worst detail to do this week at work and just want it over.

I've been absolutely unproductive today.
I've just sat and watched Christmas movies. I finally got off my butt and started playing DDR for about 40 minutes.
I'm going to start previewing my classes' lessons for the week. It pays to stay ahead!

My day is going to be very exciting. NOOOOOOTTTTTTT!

Take Kaitlyn to school, take my Mom to the doctors, go to Costco, go to Borders, maybe Macys? and come home.



Dawn is still very very ill.
She has double pnuemonia. They don't want to put her into the hospital because of the flu going around, so she is trying everything possible at home.
She needs our continued support, thoughts and prayers.

Good morning and Happy Monday!

First and foremost continued prayers to Dawn!! This is so scary! I will put in a prayer request at church as well for her! The more prayers can't hurt!!

It certainly was dead here yesterday. I hope that means everyone was out enjoying themselves!!

We had a nice relaxing day! We went to church and our pastor is over in Pakistan on a pastor's conference. Our youth pastor gave the sermon yesterday and we sent several hundred shoe boxes full of gifts to the needy in Africa, Asia and other underdeveloped countries. We do this every year and it is a really neat project. This year we are actually going to track a few and get to see the reactions of some of the children so I am excited about that!!

Then we just did our grocery shopping and came home. I bought a ham and made ham, scalloped potatoes and corn for dinner. It was YUM! Then we just watched Scrooged and a Christmas story. It was a nice kick back day! We didn't end up going to mom's because I didn't want to go out when I was trying to recover from my sore throat.

I am glad this is the girls last week of school before the break! And then the week they go BACK is all minimum days for parent teacher conferences. So lots of breaks for a bit. I am looking forward to spending some time with the girls and possibly going to the dollar movies and going shopping. It should be fun. Plus next week we will probably go to mom's and do some baking. This Friday the girls have off school and we are going to a harvest festival which is always fun. So it should be a fun week and next week should be even better.

I can't help but remember that this time last year we were getting ready to go to florida. I sure wish I was going back there again or even to DL. All these christmas promos and cheap rooms are killing me. Christmas is my FAV time of year at the parks and I SO wish I was going! Ah well some day!

Busy weekend at our place with having my mom here. Penn and Teller were great and it's amazing to me that even after being Vegas headliners for 8 years they still stand out in the lobby for pics and autographs after every single show!

Yesterday we got a good jump on the Christmas shopping. JCPenney was having a huge sale. We also hit the outlets, the rest of the mall and two different Targets. So now I am almost done with my exchange gift shopping, Ty is done and I am pretty close to being done with my sister and her girlfriend. Chances are we'll just do gift cards for my parents and my brothers, so really all I have to do now is shop for Dave. Now, I just need inspiration to hit!

I sure hope everybody else is doing well. I had a pretty relaxing weekend. But the big excitement was my shopping trip to Kohls. I had $40 in Kohls Cash from Safeway, that I earned doing my normal grocery shopping, they were having a 60% off sale, and we had a 30% off coupon. If I had purchased everything at full price, I would have paid about $140, but after all discounts, I paid less than $14 out of pocket!!! It was a nice little jump on the holiday shopping!

I just got back from a VERY productive day!! I got my stocking all mailed, picked up my prescriptions and got the girls christmas pretty much all done! Shane's is already done because I got him the Wii so now all I need to do is figure out something for mom and dad! That's the tough part, they are impossible!!!

When I had done all my shopping the other day I had forgotten a few things off my list and then last night Shelby had mentioned one more thing that she wanted so I ran to Walmart and picked up those last few items and then went ahead and got all the stocking stuffers for the girls so now the only thing left I need to pick up is their ornaments. I get them each an ornament every year. I may get a few more things for their stockings as well because even though I got some stuff I could stand to get a few more things.

But otherwise I am pretty much done. AND I even got some great ideas for Katy's birthday!! It feels so good to get everything accomplished. Oh and I even picked up Christmas cards for the card exchange!!! Can't wait to get the addresses!
