I just thought I'd let you know that Dawn is very ill. I talked to her on the phone and she could barely talk to me without coughing and wheezing. I'm hoping that she was able to see her doctor today. She sounded scary to me.

Morning and Happy Friday!!!

First off many prayers to miss Dawn! I so hope you are feeling better and that you were able to see your doc!!

All the planning sounds wonderful and the baby shower idea sounds great!

Last night we had the best time. Shane's Wii comes with some sports games and then I got Toy Story and Mario Cart for the girls. We had a blast playing with them all last night and I thought I would never get them off it in time to watch survivor. For those that watch it it was CLASSIC last night when they blindsided Erik!! LOVED it! And LOVE that they got Russell to use his idol! I hope he goes next. Him or that gal. I forgot her name, Sara or something. The older woman that is so bossy. Monica can go to as far as I am concerned.

Flash Forward was good to although this time change is killing me. I started to fall asleep towards the end. I had to rewind my show in the middle of watching it (thank goodness for dvr!! ) Cuz something REALLY important happened! I didn't even stay up to watch Fringe either. I had to tivo it. I am just having the WORST time staying up past 9. I thought it was the flu but I think it is the time change.

Anyway I have work today and then tonight we have to run to sam's and then after Ghost Whisperer I know everyone is going to want to play on the Wii again. I am sure after awhile it will get boring but for now everyone is obsessed LOL. For those that are interested in the Toy story game it is a LOT of fun. It has most of the games from the ride and then new ones. It is really fun!

We have a soccer game tomorrow and then Sunday we still plan to go see Christmas Carroll after church so I am REALLY looking forward to that!! Then next week the girls have Wed off for veterans day and SO far mom is planning to take off and we plan to do something so I am looking forward to that as well. So hopefully everything works out.

Prayers and healing vibest to all that are still sick and hope everyone has a GREAT Friday and has something fun planned for the weekend!!

Oh no, poor Dawn. When I hear that she's coughing and wheezing and could barely talk......scares and worries me. How long has she been sick? She really needs to get to the doctor as soon as she can. She'll be in my thoughts and prayers!

You all are soooo sweet. There really is no need for a fuss though. I've never had a baby shower and maybe it's best that I don't know what I'm missing!

The crazy thing is that we thought we were going to wait another year to have a baby once we move, but then changed our mind. Well, in the meantime, a social worker at work was really struggling providing for her new baby. I gave her almost everything I had. The only thing I kept was my pack n play and few of the more special to me outfits. It was the right thing to do, but now I have to rebuy everything, and I'm not going to register because who does that for their 3rd baby? lol

I'm hoping to find out the sex of the baby right before the trip. I'm soooo wanting a girl. A boy is a blessing too, but I really want to know what shopping for pink feels like.


I just saw on the news about Ft. Hood. How incredibly sad and senseless. I will be praying.

Oh, and Jane, you better be practicing for the big day when you will officially be trying! I've never been to Vegas, but a shower for you might just get me up there!

I have to say a girl is pretty fun to shop for! Thinking lots of girl thoughts for you! Either way we are deffinitely going to have the shower for you so bring an extra suitcase or 2! And you should deffinitely register! Especially since you gave away so much stuff! You don't need to tell anyone unless they ask where you are registered!

I would also come to Vegas for a baby shower for Jane! That would be great!

That settles it for me. You are getting a babyshower. Now the question is are you flying or driving in? This way we can plan accordingly.

I am back to work today thanks to a friend who just got back from Disneyland and offered to take my son for the day! He probably could have gone to daycare, but he still can't talk so that would be difficult!

Thank you Miss Cristabel! I occasionally post updates on my FB page regarding things here on the DIS too, so between all the resources available there is no excuse for not knowing what's going on.

Good morning ladies! TGIF!!!!

I hope you all have a good day and are as excited about the weekend as I am. Not that I have any plans, I'm just always excited for the weekend.

Thanks for all the good thoughts.. i went in and the doctor did breathing treatments, gave me a strong shot of antibiotics and a mini iv pack because i had gotten dehydrated. I am feeling alot better. Still sick but able to stay awake. She said I have to stay in bed all weekend and do breathing treatments twice a day then come in monday for another lung xray.

Debra is sick too, I hope she gets better. I know lots of people are not feeling well with the flu season.

I'm in for a baby shower.

Kelly I know you what you mean about the time change. Wednesday night I had a big headache and was falling asleep as I was watching the office. I decided to just call it a night. So I put my jammies on and went to bed. I was wide awake at 6:30am! SO weird! I just stayed in bed and kept dozing in and out. I finally got out of bed at 9:30am but it was the best sleep I ever had!

I hope you feel better soon. I also have asthma but thankfully it only acts up when it's really cold or I have a bad cold. I've gone in for breathing treatments and it's just no fun not being able to catch your breath. Of course when I do get sick I always get that barking seal cough. Praise God, I haven't gotten that sick these past two years. It's even worse when it's around holiday time because you want to be with family but you don't want to get them sick. I'm praying that you get 100% better and don't get sick again for the rest of the year. You have already been through enough! I'm also going to add you to my church's prayer chain. You can never have enough prayer.

Beth, the weekends are the best even if you aren't doing anything special. It's the fact that you get to do choose to go out or do something or do absolutely NOTHING. This weekend I'm doing stuff but I love weekends at home with the family during the cold weather season, watching holiday movies I can't wait for Thanksgiving! I get the whole week off of school So I plan on spending all of my time with my family!
