I know you were really wanting another baby & I'm so happy for you . And the baby is due around my birthday so you know he/she is going to be really special .

I so agree with this! My birthday is right around there too so it is going to be a very special baby! CONGRATS HEATHER! I am soooo happy for you!

Everyone, please say a prayer for the people stationed at Fort Hood where many people have been killed and wounded today. My 13 year old niece lives on base there with her mom and stepdad. She is still at school on lockdown and is safe (she has been texting her mom constantly and her mom has been posting on Facebook every few minutes), but like everyone else there she is incredibly scared and sad. They are saying that it is soldiers that perpetrated these crimes, which is truly heartbreaking. Pray for them and pray for peace.

I just heard about that. So sad. I'm glad your niece is ok!! How scary for her.

Sunday for NR is completely fine.

You all are soooo sweet. There really is no need for a fuss though. I've never had a baby shower and maybe it's best that I don't know what I'm missing!

The crazy thing is that we thought we were going to wait another year to have a baby once we move, but then changed our mind. Well, in the meantime, a social worker at work was really struggling providing for her new baby. I gave her almost everything I had. The only thing I kept was my pack n play and few of the more special to me outfits. It was the right thing to do, but now I have to rebuy everything, and I'm not going to register because who does that for their 3rd baby? lol

I'm hoping to find out the sex of the baby right before the trip. I'm soooo wanting a girl. A boy is a blessing too, but I really want to know what shopping for pink feels like.

I am SOOOO right there with you. I would love to shop for pink for myself as most of my girlfriends at work just had or have little girls on the way. It's fun to buy for them, but it would be so much better if the princess stuff was staying here, kwim.

We have a WDW trip planned for May and I have said that we will wait until after that trip to start trying again. I was pregnant with Ty the last time we were there and so I haven't gotten to ride Everest ever, and I am also totally ready to ride their (superior) ToT and RNRC again! But, I have read all the stories on the threads about the Disney conceived babies, and I'm thinking that Lily, Ella or Belle might make great middle names

Oh, and the shower is totally happening, whether it's the meet and greet or another time that we set up. I think the Jazz Kitchen night might be fun, but we can totally play with it to fit what you want.

So sad and heartbreaking - I am glad that your niece is safe. This brings back memories of Columbine when my DD then 10 years old was in lock down at her school. I just don't get it...

Seriously, I had showers with all my pregnancies. Each was special, and none were asked for by me, but all were greatly appreciated. And needed. Especially with the twins. Everyone was so generous. We got lots of money and a double stroller, lots of clothes, etc. We felt very loved by our family and friends.

I think you might want to consider renting a van to drive to DL in. You'll need it to haul your loot back in!!
