Stacielee, every time I hear the ELP song, I think of you.
I hope everyone is having a great day!
That's funny! I was in Joann's Fabrics once and that song was my ringtone and someone called me and the girl at the register knew what song it was!
same spot you are in. So is Tina and her DH.
FYI- We all have the Costco APs that need to be redeemed.
Stacie, there is no way I could last 3-5 hours without a potty break. I tend to get infections, and that would put me over the edge!!
Hi to Darlin Courtney, Theresa, Tracey, Wendy, Callie, Linda and AmySue!
I have the Costco AP that I need to activate as well, so I guess I'll be at Guest Services either Thursday night or Friday morning.
We've done it twice with just Allyson and I, where we haven't stopped at all. And it's exactly 5 hours from Christine's dorm to our house, or the other way around.
It takes you half an hour to pee??????
I'm here I'm here! Sorry--things have been hectic. Topped off by a meet for another website at last night's Trick or Treat party. Had a lot of fun--AmySue and her DD joined me and my friend Brandy--then AmySue and her DD stayed the night in my DVC studio --they left early for DL this morning--I had breakfast and then came to work.
Then AmySue is coming to my house tonight along with Donna and tomorrow the three of us and Brandy are playing this game which none of us know what we are doing at DL! But we will have fun. AmySue made us black t-shirts with dalmation mickey heads on them because the name of our team is Cruella's Diva Crew.
So anyway that's what's up for me. Hugs to everybody.
No, it doesn't take me 1/2 an hour to pee! But getting off the freeway, and we usually stop where there's also some fast food so then everyone has to get something to eat, the use the bathroom, then get back on the freeway... about 1/2 an hour, maybe a little less.
I thought about doing that other one you're doing, starts with an S and is Japanese, right? It looked like a lot of fun but I couldn't justify coming out 2 weekends in a row!
Here's what I've been doing for the past 3 days: Wednesday I had a gum graft done; I have some recession on my 2 front bottom teeth so they take a graft from the roof of the mouth and attach it to the gums. It's 95% successful so it shouldn't be a problem. But I was out for most of the day, or at least in lala land.
Thursday and Friday I cooked ... 16 meals for the freezer. Like the once a month cooking. Here's what I made: Black Bean Soup, Broccoli Cheese Soup, Chicken Tortilla Soup, Chili Bean Burritos, Navy Bean Soup, Crock Pot Chicken Taco Soup, Crock Pot Beef Stew, Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff, Crock Pot Enchiladas, Crock Pot Lasagna, Crock Pot Mac 'n Cheese, Manicotti, Savory Baked Chicken, Shredded Salsa Beef and Spice Macaroni & Cheese. I also made extra black beans and pinto beans. And topped it off with a batch of Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Chip Cookies. That should hold us for about a month or so, hopefully close to Thanksgiving. I love doing it, makes me feel really organized and I'm not stressed out when I'm trying to figure out what to make for dinner.
And I lost 4 pounds this week! I've started a new diet, the glycemic index diet. So far, so good, but it's only been 1 week.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and I can't wait to see everyone next week!!!
