Just stopping by to say hi!!! Tracey, I'd love to meet you for drinks Monday evening...maybe we can drag Amy out too!! Do you still have my cell?

Michelle
Hi Michelle! I'm sorry to hear you are feeling down. Do come and have a drink and drag Amy out too! Can you PM me your cell phone? I left my phone in the Limo when I got dropped off to the airport and darn if it hasn't arrived back here yet. I am hoping for today. If not, by tomorrow, then I will be bringing my son's phone with me on Monday and he does not have any of my numbers in his phone.
I did get my intinerary, and as I suspected I am scheduled until about 8 PM every night. Is that too late?

Tracey

And hello to all. You guys are cracking me up with the dorito/cake conversation.

Good Morning Everyone:goodvibes

I have a question.... Can you renew your annual pass at the DCA guest services?

Or does it have to be at Disneyland Bank only?

Morning ladies!

It has been such a busy wk!
I think we are going to the pumpkin patch tomorrow.
But I am just not sure, I kind of want to wait since we are not going to be home for a week.

I hope everyone is having a great day!

Stacielee, every time I hear the ELP song, I think of you.

I hope everyone is having a great day! :goodvibes

Angie - it totally makes sense to upgrade to the Deluxe AP (you probably won't need the Premium - unless you plan on parking or going way more times that would be traditionally busier and have block out days?). Just bring your Park Hopper to Guest Services and tell them you want to upgrade to an AP. Just make sure that you have done your Magic Morning (or are you staying on site??) before you upgrade, or you will lose that :thumbsup2 You will also start getting your 10% AP discount on restaurants, etc. as well as soon as you upgrade, so that can save you a bit of cash in October too ;)

Thanks Theresa!

Quick good morning, I have to catch up here. Dawn, they aren't doing any annual pass services at the bank anymore, it's all at that large place on the corner near the circle where you watch the fireworks (forget the name). I am not sure about guest services but I think you can do it there. Maybe ask on the main DL area, someone will know for certain.:goodvibes

(Beth, I think I caught half of what Deb lost)

Hello from Switzerland!

Just finishing up our October break week here. I think the boys and I are all ready for school to start up again. Can I just say I don't know how you home schoolers do it. :headache:

Tomorrow we are going to Legoland. I had hoped to make it to DLP, but even with the great deals it was going to be very expensive and the kids both wanted to go to Legoland more. So we leave Saturday, stay one night at Legoland Village and then come home Sunday. I'm looking forward to it...should be fun!

Still don't have any washing machine or laundry cards and my hands are raw from doing wash in the tub. Ugh. Really not fun. This is the kind of stuff I did when I lived in Russia in the early 90s. I did not sign up for this.

Next week is a big week. I have a phone interview for a job on Monday (send pixie dust please :wizard:) and then DH leaves Monday night to go to Germany to get our car. Woohoo! I haven't been in a vehicle where I control the destination and direction for over a month. While I LOVE the public transportation here and intend to continue to use it, it will be SO nice to have our car. Also, my German lessons start Monday. Kids still have the day off (start Tuesday), so I will miss the first day, but after that can start learning this language.

Oh...thinking of making a short trip to DL to celebrate a late 40th birthday while we are home for Christmas. How's DL Jan 6 & 7? We need to use up the DVC points I was going to use for the WDW marathon. There's just no way to squeeze that in on top of all that's going on right now.

Many good wishes to all of you. :wizard::wizard::wizard:

Those who homeschool are very special people! They have a talent for patience! Best wishes for your phone interview.

If you come to DL for your 40th, we have to set up a mini-meet!

Dawnikins - I called Disneyland and was told renewals were at the Plaza Pavilion (where you, Melody and I went over answers for last years scavenger hunt) and at the main entrance ticket booths. You can also renew via mail or online.

Jen - Stop having so much fun! You're making me jealous. ;)

For everyone that lost weight, I do believe I found it all for you. Usually I'm not serious when I say that, but this time I'm serious. :sad2:

Dawn, if you don't need to update your photo, you can renew at Guest Services in DCA or in the Esplanade. They can just print you out a new card using the photo they have on file.

HTH! :goodvibes

Wendy, I know I have found some too. I'm so frustrated with myself because I want to get smaller for our next big meet in February but I have zero willpower
I'm just happy that I eat relatively healthy at my apt. I have at least one chicken breast or healthy protein for dinner per night. I just have a big problem drinking my water. I'm addicted to Starbucks iced caramel macchiatos and Capri Sun.

Big hugs to everyone!

Michelle
Back at ya!

I have a 5 day ticket for next week but if I'm going in Feb/Mar it would make sense to upgrade to an AP, right? Which one would I need and how do I go about upgrading it.:confused3

Thanks,
Angie
I have the Deluxe and as far as I can see, it's going to be good for everyday we need it. :thumbsup2

Just a quick Hi.

I hope everyone is doing well. for those in need.

We're putting on an airshow tomorrow (if anyone is interested check out this link: http://www.edwards.af.mil/flighttestnation2009/index.asp, so I'll be working 12+ hours . I'm looking forward to it because I also get 2 hours to enjoy it with my family.

Depending on how tired I am I'll try to check in here on Sunday. But it may be more towards the middle of the week.

Take care, talk to you all soon.

steph
The Airshow sounds like a blast. Literally! No really, I love air shows. I wish we could have made it, but we already have a full weekend. Have fun!!!

Morning divas and TGIF!!

Beth I am glad the toy toy is fixed. You don't need any more issues! And I am sure whatever you end up doing for your birthday will be fun cuz you have a great family there and I am sure they will make it nice for you. I hope you get your dvds. I love having a whole series of a show. I have a few of those and it is so fun to watch those! :)

I'm getting so excited to see everyone next week! This time next week will be our first park day! Woo hoo!

Me too!

I've started to pack finally. I've got the costumes and bathing suits packed. Normally I would NEVER pack suits but since we are staying at the DLH the girls REALLY want to take advantage of the pool. I just hope we have time to actually use it! :)
Well I'm jealous, cuz I am still working on my costumes. :guilty:

Good question Dawn. I'm in the same spot you are in. So is Tina and her DH.

FYI- We all have the Costco APs that need to be redeemed.

(Beth, I think I caught half of what Deb lost)
Uh oh!! :sad2: Get over it now!!! :flower3:

You can renew your annual pass online. It's very easy. If you want some help, let me know.
Cristabel, we can't do that. We have to take it in person.

Hi Jen!!

Good to hear from you again. Your life right now is such an adventure. Have a great time at Legoland!! Post pics when you can!! Of everything.........not just Legoland. Like where you live, and places you have seen. It would be fun to see.

Hey Beth! What's this about a toy toy? :confused3

Deb! I hear you might be a few pounds lighter? Way to go girl!! :cheer2:

Stacie, there is no way I could last 3-5 hours without a potty break. I tend to get infections, and that would put me over the edge!! :upsidedow

Hi to Darlin Courtney, Theresa, Tracey, Wendy, Callie, Linda and AmySue!

And Hi to whoever I forgot, or who hasn't posted for a bit.

Derrick my son is coming over later on today to look at some of my ideas for T-shirts.

So far these are my ideas.

*Princess crown with Mickey ears scrolled into it, done in glitter.

*Simple outline of Sleeping Beauty's castle, done in glitter.

*Retro Disneyland logo that I found the other day. It's kind of cool. Real 60ish looking. Tomorrowlandish. Are you getting the feel?:rotfl:

When I see you guys next week, I hope to have some drawings for you! :goodvibes

Mel - I love retro Disneyland images! I can't wait to see some drawings. :goodvibes
I hope Kaitlyn is doing better today. :wizard:

Cristabel, we can't do that. We have to take it in person.

So, then Dawn's not renewing but redeeming? OH.
I was going to post this proof lol

Just wanted to say that if it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all. I don't want to blab my problems to you all, but yesterday was just filled with bad news.

Really can't wait until next Friday so I can escape reality for a weekend!!!

For everyone that lost weight, I do believe I found it all for you. Usually I'm not serious when I say that, but this time I'm serious. :sad2:

I'm having issues with my weight too :headache:. I gained 65 pounds with my pregnancy & I lost a total of 15 pounds after giving birth. Guess how much I've lost since then..... ZERO!!! So in 9 1/2 months, I'm still 50 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight :sad1:. I guess the good news is, I haven't gained any extra in those 9 1/2 months .

Hi ladies!!!

Michelle ~ Sorry things are rough for you now. Hang in there.

Melody ~ Can't wait to see the tee ideas!! :yay: Oh and the "toy toy" is because our toilet was acting up, but it seems to be working fine now. (knock on wood)

Wendy and Cristabel ~ No way you're doing as badly as I am. :sad2: Here's hoping we can all get back to healthy habits! :wizard:

Jen ~ Lots of pixie dust for your interview!! And have fun at Legoland. Always good to hear from you and what you are up to. ::yes::

Steph ~ Have fun at the airshow. I saw on FB you have a cold. I hope you feel better soon.

Deb ~ If you make it to the pumpkin patch, have fun and pick a good one. :)

Kelly ~ YAY for packing!!! :woohoo:

Hey Callie ~ I had a thought......you know how you said your DH was frowning on any upcoming DL trips? Do you think maybe he's just doing that and is planning on surprising you??? :confused3 You never know! Maybe you could drop hints that you want a DL trip for Christmas...... :rolleyes1

Tracey ~ I hope it works out for you to meet with AmySue and Michelle for dinner or drinks. That would be nice. :goodvibes

Katie ~ I'm sorry to hear things were rough for you yesterday. You know I'm here if you need anything! (((hugs)))

Donna, Dawn, Theresa, Angie, Linda, Courtney and everyone else hope you are having a good day so far. :hippie:

Oh, and where's Cheryl been? Is work keeping her busy?? I miss her posts around here.

As for me, I've got a headache. :headache: Gonna go take some Tylenol. I think it's from lack of sleep. Stayed up watching The Proposal. Cute movie though!!

Later!

Good question Dawn. I'm in the same spot you are in. So is Tina and her DH.

FYI- We all have the Costco APs that need to be redeemed.

I redeemed mine at Guest Services to the left of the Disneyland gates. They had my pic on file, so they just printed up a pass, gave me my gift card, and I was on my way. We'll do the same thing with Marty on Wednesday.

So Dawn--I am almost completely positive that you need to go to GS outside of the park to turn in the Costco voucher.

And Hi to whoever I forgot, or who hasn't posted for a bit.

Derrick my son is coming over later on today to look at some of my ideas for T-shirts.

These all sound great! I LOVE the retro idea!!!
