Good afternoon, everyone.

I've decided to get the Disneyland Summer Fun Pass I'll buy it either on Wednesday or Thursday this week. The first use has to be by 8/23 which sounds like a lovely idea. Diana and Tyrae are planning on a Disneyland trip on 8/30 but I'm going to see if I can bump their visit up a week. That way I don't "waste" a day. It expires on October 7th so I can even use it at the beginning of the Halloween season before the crowds

I'm so excited!

Afternoon all. Well I broke down and finally went to the stupid ER. Couldn't stand it anymore. I actually called my GI doc first cuz mom told me I should and JUST like I thought he told me I was doing everything he could recommend and if the percocet wasn't working I needed to go to the ER. SOOOO I begrudgingly went but since I changed primary care docs we now have a new hospital and it is literally a "new" hospital and it is REALLY nice. AND the best part is when we went in there was hardly anyone there. They took me back within a few minutes. Of course I didn't get treated for 2 hours but still. They gave me a shot of something I can't remember the name. It is right under Morphine I know that. Starts with a D. Unfortunately all it did was make me really dizzy. It didn't take the pain away either. This is pretty scary to me because that is a powerful narcotic and if even THAT doesn't help I don't know WHAT I am going to do. He also prescribed Norco which is basically vicodin with tyelenol. Vicodin usually makes me sick but he wouldn't give me more percocet although that wasn't working anyway. So who knows. Shane just picked it up and I took one so we shall see but since the BIG shot didn't work I don't have much hopes of this pill doing anything.

He also gave me a steroid cream but it is basically like what the GI doc had already given me that hasn't done anything either. SOOOO I am basically back to square one. At least I didn't have to sit there for 20 hours for nothing. But I am pretty bummed that even after a trip to the ER I am STILL in pain. My GI doc did say to call first thing tomorrow and he will get me the referral to the colo/rectal guy and hopefully he will make it an urgent referral so I can get in quickly! If not I am going to try and get in to my primary to at least get something more for the pain since the ER doc only gave me a few pills and a note to follow up with my reg doc.

So we shall see. I am pretty sure though that I am going to need some type of surgery to fix this and I am nervous cuz I have researched it and KNOW it is extremely painful to recover from and it can come back again. But I have to get this fixed! So I am really hoping that something works and soon!

Hope you all had a good weekend. I didn't read back so I'm sorry if I missed anything big. I'm too tired to right now. I literally spent the entire day cleaning and organizing around the house. I didn't even sit down at the computer once until just now. lol

But I'm exhausted and headed to bed. Night!

Morning all! Well I am up bright and early. Have a somewhat busy day today. The school is releasing the kids teachers today so I will be running them over there shortly to see who they got and who will be in their classes with them. Luckily it is right around the corner cuz the meds I am taking make me really dizzy. Then I am coming home and my dad is going to drive me to my apt. I will be anxious to see what he says cuz when I got on these meds back in Feb he said if they didn't work there wasn't much else that could be done and they haven't really worked so we shall see. Plus I will be trying to get through to the OTHER doc this morning as well and hope to get an apt VERY soon! I am supposed to work today and really need to as it is payroll tax day but I am still feeling really crappy so mom may have to do it. We shall see.

Anyway Shane is back to work finally and it is the girls last week of summer break so it shall be interesting. I hope I feel good enough later in the week to do SOMETHING fun with them before they go back to school. At least a movie or something. We shall see. They have soccer practice tomorrow and Thur night and then Sat night we have the awards for the swim meet of champs. I don't think Katy will get anything but they want everyone who attended to come anyway for a recognition thing so we are going to go for the heck of it.

Other than that not to much going on. We usually always go to the state fair but with me feeling crappy and with us being short on money after just coming off this big trip I think we are going to have to skip it this year.

I just hope I feel better by the time the Nickeback concert comes up. I REALLY want to go to that!

Anyway I hope everyone has a GREAT day and has lots of fun stuff planned for this last week of summer break!

Kelly, I'm so sorry for all you are dealing with now. Being in constant pain just takes so much out of you. I hope they are able to do something for you soon.



I'm feeling very lazy this morning. School starts one week from today! I cannot believe how fast the summer flew by.

Hi everyone. Like Beth, I pretty much spent the whole weekend cleaning house. Though I did do a couple other things:

• I was on the computer for a short time to print out pics for some of the frames I found while cleaning house. They are now hung on my walls.

• I finished the shadow boxes for my DH's boutineer (from 2007 wedding), our 50th golden ears, and our dream ears. (will try to get around to posting pics once my DH hangs them

• Went to Costco and walked out with a $400 bill!!! Granted that is basically dinners for the rest of August & all of Sept, but still!

Howdy! Back from my apt! Well that was interesting. Basically the uro said what I thought all along that my bladder is still hurting because of the other thing. They are all kind of connected and if one hurts so does the other. He said there is NO way to tell if my bladder is better till I get the other fixed. SOOO he said to just get that fixed first and THEN call and make another follow up. Which is kind of what I figured anyway.

While I was there my phone rang too and it was my primary with the referral but luckily I was able to call them back and get it but the BAD news is they said the new doc wasn't seeing anyone till Oct!! I told her that would NOT do as this was an emergency so she said her computer was down but as soon as it came up she would try to get me in with their other doc. So we shall see.

Anyway I am also waiting for mom to call back. I am thinking I am NOT going to go into work cuz I am feeling really dizzy and just crappy so I think I am going to go lay down.

Hope everyone is having a good day and P.S. the girls got their teachers and they got the ones they wanted. They are happy.
