I am SO EXCITED to hear from Cheryl, too! I PM'ed her but have not heard back. I hope her stay was magical.

I am so sorry. I got back to work around noontime and have posted a couple of things but have been fighting off a cold . . . . and losing. I haven't had one in a long time and it is hitting me HARD.

Cheryl - Sorry to hear about your cold...I hope you feel better really soon! It seems it is really going around. I myself have been sneezing and sniffely all day and I am hoping it's only a reaction to smoke in the air. I will not get a cold!! I don't have time.

I love it too. I'm so sad I'll miss it this year. But I've seen it the two years prior. Enjoy it for me!!

I think my mom (VintageDisneyRules) and dad are going on Saturday.

And I heard that Zero is going to fly. It was neat to see Dumbo flying this summer.

I'll keep a look out for your mom...I've only seen her picture so I'm not sure I'll recognize her but I'll try to see her!

It will be fun to see Zero fly!

I love the new commercials for Halloween. It's like the Kingdom Keeper books in that the villians take over the parks (or at least try too!)

I can't wait either. I was toying around with the idea of going this weekend because I'm excited to see all the new Halloween stuff, but I think I'm going to wait a little while since the first weekend might be packed.

If you do decide to go I'll keep an eye out for you too!! Would love to see you again and I hope it's not just a mad house this weekend. We are staying over Sat. night so if we need to we plan to get an early start on Sunday morning and do anything that we might have missed on Sat. or to do overs! This weekend might be the only weekend that the kids get to go during Halloween time. I don't think they'll be able to come for the Oct. Meet because of marching band.

Thanks for the info. I don't have a hat and I hate gloves so that will be interesting. I keep gloves on long enough to clean the snow off the car and off they come.

It also depends on what you are used to. I've gotten used to the heat here, so now I get cold quicker.

Beth- I just wanted to let you know what a sweetie you are . I got your card in the mail today & it really lifted my spirits. It's amazing how supporting words can really make someone feel 100% better.

As for clothing go with the layers. Last year I about froze my fanny off waiting for Fantasmic. Ask Beth!! I had on my Ugg boots, a hat, gloves and a coat, and I was still cold!! But I am always cold it seems like.

YES! I can confirm poor Melody was freezing. And yet, she stayed and waited with me the whole time.

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a nice day. The best part of today is that tomorrow is Friday!!

I had my stitches removed today and the doc says my leg is doing well. The bad news for me is that I have to go back to work tomorrow. Seriously though I'm ready to go back to work...at least I was until I picked Rhys up and pulled my back (again). So I'm trying to rest my back so I'm ready to go to work in the morning.

My back has to be better as soon as possible. We have a busy weekend coming up and I don't want to miss any of it. On Saturday Selena is marching in a Armed Forces Parade with her Girl Scout Troop. Right after that we're headed to a Greek Festival. Then on Sunday we're going apple picking so we'll have apple pie for dessert that night.

Everyone else, HI!!! I am at work, no seriously, I am. I know you all are doubting it is true, but here I sit. He He He. Only a little over 2 hours to go on my second double in a row! I work a single tomorrow and then have 2 days off in which my family is going for a hike and I plan to pick apples and make my own applesauce. We are having a family bbq tomorrow as it is my grandma's last day home for the summer. She won't be back up till next june. I miss the old family christmas traditions of everyone being together but am lucky to still get summers with her. I feel I didn't get to spend much time with her this summer because of work, but at least we had our mahjongg weekend.

Morning divas! Sounds like everyone is doing well!

I must say I serioulsy enjoyed my tv last night although on survivor I still want that Russell to go! BLECH! And now I don't like that Ben or Jasmine either. For those that watch did you think he found that idol just a LITTLE too easily? HMMMMM

Anyway then I watched the new show Flash Forward and I really like it! I hope the rest of America does because I don't want it to get cancelled. I am going to NEED a new addiction once Lost goes away this year! And Fringe was just plain WEIRD last night. That's all I have to say about that! Mole rat boy! OK! LOL

Anyway Linda I totally agree with what I was telling you. Sometimes even when you HAVE parents around it can be bad. Both of mine are still around but sometimes even when parents are around they aren't if you know what I mean. Mine always worked and were never "there" if you know what I mean. And my dad and I have NEVER been close. The man never told me he loved me until this past year after I had my break down. He always used to put me down and he has a LOT of issues himself from his mom dying when he was 11. When I was a kid I spent a LOT of time alone and was never allowed to have any friends over or do any kind of sports or anything. So I think I go OVERBOARD in the opposite direction. We never travelled when I was young and I think I went to Disneyland maybe 3 or 4 times my entire childhood. So I want ALL the things for my kids that I never had. I want them to have what I consider a "normal" Brady bunch type childhood if that makes sense. Something I never had growing up! So I TOTALLY understand what you were saying and how you are feeling. And I think that no matter what are situations were growing I think it makes us stronger and better people (and moms)

Cristabel I am so sorry you didn't get to see your show! Can you maybe watch it today on the net?

As for me I am off to work today and then as soon as the girls get off school mom and I are heading up to YC to help set up for tonight. I am not sure who all will be there tonight but I am excited to see everyone. I have relatives coming down from Alaska that I haven't seen in a couple years and one from Hong Kong that I haven't seen in 10 years. I am not sure if she is bringing her husband or her kids but if she brings them I have never met them. Plus we have family from the midwest and the east coast. The last time we saw MOST of them was a family reunion we had in 07. So I am very excited to see everyone. I know I will see EVERYONE tomorrow at the party but hopefully will see a lot of them tonight as well.

Yes, we did! A little after 9pm we were giving up hope but I decided to go check the MPR just in case the guys decided to leave. Well on my way I saw through one of the first floor apts' screen door that they were watching Grey's. I didn't have my apt key so I couldn't get into the actual building. So I walked onto their patio and asked them if my roommate and I could watch with them. I must have been the creepiest person I called Brynna and she came down with the cookies I baked and we only missed the first 10 minutes!

Cristabel, that was the pits!!! Next week someone had better camp out by the TV!!

I definitely plan to get there early next week. I don't have anything going on so I can be there at 7:30pm. Hopefully no one will be there.

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a tiggerific week so far! =) I wanted to let Dawn, Cheryl, Donna, Sarah, and Vicki know that my professor approved my pear story! Breezy's Adventures With The Perfect Pair is about the magical day spent at Disneyland. I put together a photo album using fairty tale scrapbook paper and wrote a little story about the adventures and fantasies we discovered throughout the day! Super cute and pretty fun to make! She said I can make a series with Bartlett and Bosc and use them throughout the semester so I am excited!! =)

Can't wait to see everyone in October (Or February!) <3

Well, I saw it online and posted about how I wanted to buy one. Donna got in touch with me on Facebook to say she was in Disneyland and did I want her to pick one up and send it to me. Of course I said yes, and told her to let me know how much I owed her for the game and shipping. Well, when it arrived it was all packaged up so cute with other surprises and a sweet card saying it was an early birthday present for me from her and a few other Divas. It was a pleasant surprise.


So anyway, good to see you! Does this mean you are home?? How was Disney??
