Girls Only~ OLD THREAD, new one linked in first post

Just posted my very last requirement for my class (SPE/514) - WHOOO HOOO! :cheer2:

Chugged a beer to celebrate! :rolleyes1

So far I have a 99.74% in the class. Lets hope I did well on my final projects. Fingers crossed. :wizard:

Haven't even showered yet today....which seems to often be the case on final class days. But I'm heading to the shower as we speak, and then time to make spaghetti for dinner.

Are you a night shower person or a morning shower person? I'm a morning shower person...otherwise my hair is just scary! :scared1: How about Daisy? Are we all going to be fighting for the shower in the morning? pirate: It takes you a while to wake up? Or does that Diet Pepsi cause those eyes to pop open with energy?

Congrats on finishing your class! I am sure you did great!

Well I spent the day at the doctors with Matt my youngest. He has been having low right sided pain since yesterday on and off. They did a CT scan and he has fluid around his appendix and they can't say if it is early stage appendicitis. We go back to the surgeon tomorrow and see what the plan is. He is on a high dose of ibuprofen to see if that helps decrease the fluid. I have been a wreck and my whole family says I am going to disneyland but my gut is not sure what to do. I guess I will wait until tomorrows dr appt. Always some type of exctement in our household!

Gosh, I hope he gets better! I know, if it's not one thing it is another! My dd is home with a high fever today. Luckily my mom was able to come home from work and watch her so I could go to work since I am doing a 16 hour day. She always seems to be ill.

When I was about to go on the WDW trip with Beth back in 2006 my son ended up in the hospital. It turned out he had MRSA in his jaw area and they were able to find a medice that got rid of it but for a while we didn't know what was going on and they were talking about Cancer. It was a very scary time for my family but luckily it all worked out plus I was able to still go on the trip. Being a mom is a scary job...deffinitely not for wimps!

Hi girls.
I have been studying for a test all day.
I don't have morning sickness I have afternoon sickness. Well it's more like
an upset tummy.
I was going to make spaghetti for dinner, but a friend called and we met for Mexican. I should have made sketti!

Tina the peanut butter blossoms sound yummy!

Capri~ You will probably be getting to airport just before my flight leaves. I leave at 7:15 AM.

I am still trying to pack. But then again Target is just down the road.

Patty~ I hope everything is ok. I hope that the pain isn't too bad for him tonight.

I got a new pair of jeans yesterday, too. Old Navy was having a sale, and all their jeans were $19. I bought a pair that is a litter higher in the back than in the front, so you all won't have to see my pencil holder.
You're welcome!

I don't have to worry about that because I have my granny panties packed. Well, I always wear full brief undies so I'm more secure, just the way I like it! :lmao:But thank you for thinking of us!

You constantly amaze me by getting straight As while still running a household!

Oh no! I hope he doesn't need an appendectomy! Maybe they could do a less evasive procedure, like just taking the fluid out.
Whatever the case is, I'm hoping it's resolved quickly so he's out of pain!

:sad2: I'm so sorry Patty. I pray it's nothing serious. Keep us posted on what happens tomorrow.

I am totally freaking out because my check engine light came on while I was driving home tonight. I am not a car person and just expect it to run the way it's supposed to, so I totally feel over my head when anything goes wrong. Dave isn't much better with cars than I am, but he at least pretends. He wanted to wait and take it to the dealer tomorrow, but since I was practically in tears he agreed to take it back to Pep Boys where he got the oil changed yesterday morning. Please keep your fingers crossed that it's an easy fix in terms of time in the shop and that I'm not looking at too big of a repair bill!:eek::eek:

 Patty, I really hope and pray everything turns out fine. Big hugs!!

Capri, Way to go girl!:thumbsup2

Chris, Shelly and Jill, Thanks for the encouragement. Marco? :cool2:

THe Peanut Butter Blossoms sound heavenly!:cloud9:

I'm a night shower lady. If I have to, I will wash my hair in the sink the next morning.

FYI, now the forecast is for showers only on Saturday. Of course...:sad2: The day, you all will be running around like crazies! :dance3:

Jane, hoping it's nothing serious. Something simple like the the cap was not screwed on tight enough after you changed the oil. :confused3

Fingers are crossed!

How old is your car?
My car is pretty old so if the check engine light comes on, I take it in and they give it a "check up" and they have to manually turn off the "light", it's really a colored plastic. I don't know when they stopped doing that with cars (my car is a '94 honda).

NO! That's so sad! I hope we don't lose anyone else, there's been enough of that going on! Now, we also don't need to gain any ... YKWIM!!
I have got to find out what that means......I'm sure there is an interesting story.

I am for sure taking Wednesday off so only one more day of work! I am really getting excited for the trip and also a little nervous about meeting everyone. I hope everything works out for everyone dealing with last minute issues and that eveyone stays healthy and safe.

It's a 2007, but I've only had it since September, so I'm worried about something major going wrong when it's still fairly new.

Carol: I am really looking forward to meeting you too--Linda told me you were an extremely nice lady and fit right in!

And yes, we have stories . . . . .that will curl your hair. But don't worry--there are no last minute additions this trip!

Im an outsider popping in to wish you all a safe and fun trip to the happiest place on earth!! :donald::dumbo::sulley::tigger::tink::mickeyjum

Oh and take plenty of pics :rotfl:
