As far as TOT after the animation academy, I thought the ride wimps were going to go ride Monsters with me?!? Beth, you have to come with me, I don't want to ride alone!

I can't remember, do any of you do pin trading? I just bought a mystery lot on eBay and am hoping it gets here in time. It's someone I have bought pins from before and I'm pretty sure they ship very fast. I have some traders at home but figure I needed a few more.

I do have some pins I'll trade, I just have to remember to bring them. I finally have a display going, Christine put it together while she was home for winter break, here's a picture:

Also is there ANYTHING else that needs to be added to the schedule???

The only thing I thought of, and Cheryl and I talked about it when I was there a couple of weeks ago, was Captain EO. It's not on the DL schedule yet, is it? But I'm thinking if we want to go, it will have to be first thing in the morning or the crowds may be overwhelming.

I had Mexican food for dinner. I'm headed to yoga. Those poor people have no idea what's in store for them.

Today has been a long day.
We got our new washer & dryer today. We got the Kenmore Elites. They are pretty quiet, but holy cow, they take for ever for a load of laundry.

Today I went shopping for new undies (12 pair!!), bought my candy, got home with the new undies and found out that 6 of them were the wrong size/style, went back to the store and exchanged them plus bought something else for someone else, put more stuff in/on my suitcase, and burned my thumbs taking a really hot bowl of soup out of the microwave. Oh, and Aunt Flo came today!! YAY!! I'm so glad, I was worried she was going to come next week, so I'm off the hook for that. But the cramps are killing me!!

I think there were several Divas planning on riding Monsters. I know Linda was for sure....and 5 or 6 others at least.

Deb, I understand, and pray that it all turns out fine. After my 2nd loss, I thought I'd never get a baby. Hang in there, these first few weeks can be so stressful and scary. I'm here if you need anything.

Packing is an issue for me, too. The threat of rain is really bothering me. I've worn long-ish capris in the rain at DLR before, just because I don't want the bottom of my jeans all wet. So I'll probably bring a pair of those. Plus layers (that just bulk me up). I don't know what else. I have to choose a jacket.....

(I was so upset then, that I cried on my birthday in the GCH and Napa Rose lounge with poor Donna left to deal with me. (Thanks D for being there!) Anyway, now we can have therapies in our home again, and I can finally get ABA (behavioral therapy)! I'm so happy that I'll have more help for Nathan. Thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers everyone!

Awwwwww, I'm sorry you cried. I wish I had been there for you. It's just so stressful and overwhelming, and well, just plain hard.

But YAY for ALTCS!

BTW - don't feel embarrassed at all. I almost cried at Ryan's last IEP meeting a couple of weeks ago, and the teachers were all "Awwww, he's come so far, you don't need to worry, he's doing great......" LOL.

Me too, on the packing. That's what I haven't even started on yet, other than the undies. You think 12 pair is enough for the trip?? I have to keep my bag to a carry-on size, but I'm so tempted to bring jeans and capris. Plus I have coffee, candy, ... too much other stuff!! My other carry-on may be BIG!!

I am making a door sign for our room and so far have collected all sorts of materials....scrapbook paper that looks like an old map...pirate themed fabric, alphabet stickers, lime green poster board...and, well...nothing. All the grandiose planning in the world...and I got nothing.

We might end up with a piece of notebook paper with our names scrawled on it with a sharpie. I am thinking, that sounds super festive, right????

(I was so upset then, that I cried on my birthday in the GCH and Napa Rose lounge with poor Donna left to deal with me. (Thanks D for being there!) Anyway, now we can have therapies in our home again, and I can finally get ABA (behavioral therapy)! I'm so happy that I'll have more help for Nathan. I'm trying to get Jack assessed by our Regional Center for in-home ABA/IBI (intensive behavioral intervention). The special day class he is in is an autism specific ABA based classroom, but he needs more. I have no doubt he will qualify once I can get them out here to assess him - but the state takes FOREVER to do anything. He is behaviors are getting more severe and out of control and he is getting stronger.

Oh thank goodness! I'm so happy for you, Heather! I'm so amazed and impressed at what you have accomplished with Nathan since a year ago when we were eating bread bowls talking about it in DCA. Kudos to you! You are an amazing mom and advocate for your children!!!
