Thanks! I updated my list. & Can I just say OMG !! I have no idea how you keep all of this organized & that kind of info in your brain!!! I have a hard enough time remembering names of people I work with and see at least every week.

My mom says I should send him a card but frankly my uncle feels like a stranger to me. He has never tried to get to know us, me and my sisters, and doesn't even say hello when we go over, which is quite often. I don't see why I have to send a card as opposed to one coming from the whole family. It would be like sending a card to stranger. I know that sounds really mean but you just have to know it's not that we have a bad relationship because that would mean we had a relationship to begin with but it's nonexistent.

Because sometimes you have to be the bigger person and show other people how to act.

Cristabel, perhaps you could just think of it as a random act of kindness. Find an appropriate card, sign your name and send it off. It's just a kind thing to do when someone is hurting, regardless of your relationship with him.

I purposely didn't put my mom or aunt on the list because mom will be with me the whole time and I figured anyone who wanted to find either of us can just call my phone and Barb doesn't really know anyone and she will only be there 2 days so I didn't think she would need it either and she will be with mom and I the whole time too so should anyone WANT to get a hold of her they can call me.

Well I did my taxes. YUCK! It was worse than I thought and what a flippin nightmare. I was right we are getting WAY less on our fed than last year eventhough we made a LOT less AND last year we got almost 800 BACK from the state and now we OWE 150! And I couldn't believe it but they told me I should go ahead and pay it NOW so I avoided a penalty. I was like WHAT? Last year I didn't get my refund till JULY and I filed in January! SO lame! Now I claimed 0 and we paid in over 2000 and we STILL owed! GRRRRR. Plus then with that new make work pay credit it got messed up and they rejected my fed return so now I am on hold with the IRS. This has just NOT been my day!

All I can say is I am GLAD that my mom is helping me pay for this trip or I DEF would not be going cuz just like I thought my refund is puny and it is BARELY going to pay off my visa and DEF not going to pay off shane's!

The good news is we went to the phone store and I think I might get that fee waived on Lynn's phone cuz mom is getting two phones so they might do it as a favor since I brought her in as a customer! Crossing my fingers!!

Oh and Disney dinning called me today ironically. I made the reservation for mom's birthday dinner on the WRONG day! OOPPS!! I made it for her actual birthday which is Friday and not for Saturday night! Thank goodness they called! She had to change her cake too. I am SO glad that she called me. I would have felt like such an idiot showing up Sat night and NO ressie and NO cake! I can't believe I did that! At least it is fixed that.

DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I def feel like homer today! LOL

I don't think I shared here, but I got an iphone last week. I just downloaded a couple apps that have DL & DCA wait times. I am too excited!!!! I feel like that Disney comercial where the mom comes in and tells the kids to fall asleep - they say they can't because they are too excited. Then it shows her getting into bed and asking her husband if he was asleep - he says he can't because he's too excited.

If I am this excited now, just imagine the week of!!!

I have to say, I'm finding it harder and harder to post on this thread. I have missed so much from not being able to post for so long, or only post haphazardly. I feel disconnected and worried that people are sitting back going "who is she" and "why the heck is she posting here"?! But, I do frequently read and try to keep up with many of you on FB. Cristabel, I know how you feel. I don't know one of my g-pa's as his 2nd wife "disowned" & wouldn't let him talk to my family (all before I was born). When she died, he reached out to us & I was like "I didn't even know you really existed for 20+ years of my life." I still haven't moved into a relationship with him...

Think about doing it for your mom, not for him.

I got an ipod touch last week and also downloaded those apps (along with about 40 others!!). The only problem is that if I don't have wi-fi access, they won't work. Oh well, it's fun to play with at home!!

And I loaded all my Disney music on it. That's it so far!! So much fun to play with. I put all kids of games on it. If you check the website appshopper.com every day, they list the apps that are free. Also, put the app called PandoraBox (all 1 word) on it and you can check for free apps through that as well.
