My DD is sick, too. She had it bad for two weeks, got somewhat better and has relapsed again. It's the cough and congestion that is the worst. Oh, that and the raw nose.
Our poor baby girls.

Gooooood Morning girls!!!! Just wanted to share my goodness with all of you.
Today is my birthday....(I REALLY hate my birthday but that's a totally different story)....ANYWAY....I received two WONDERFUL gifts this morning. My federal return was deposited in the bank...AND Chris got me a beautiful diamond and sapphire necklace. So maybe it won't be such a bad day afterall. Hope you all have a great day!

I really want to try Screamin'. I've never been on it and I'm kind of scared. Definitely don't want to do it with a belly full of drinks. I got myself all psyched to do it the morning after I did the Segway tour last year, and it was closed. And I never did try again. Maybe I will venture and try it this time. I'm a wimp when it comes to roller coasters.

Definitely try it, it's a great coaster! I was scared to pieces the first time I went on it, but had a glass of liquid courage (a beer with dinner at the Trattoria), went in the Single Rider line, and was on before I had a chance to chicken out. I was scared the second time I went, too, and almost opted to not do it (I was in the regular line that time, just b/c I wanted to experience the regular line), but was glad I went.

And then during our one and only family trip to DL when I was a kid, I think around 10 or 12 or so (maybe someone can calculate for me - it was when Space Mountain just opened and I'm 39 now), we waiting inline 2 plus hours for Space Mountain

you know, it's very likely you and I had family trips at around the same time. Same age, same timeframe (if it's the younger one) for trips...wouldn't that be interesting? My big question is...where on earth are my family photos from Disneyland? I inherited all the pictures, but there are no Disneyland pictures...it's very odd.

I have never been on Screamin...it just looks scary...

It is, but it's also a really good ride. Thrilling.

First off, let me say thank you guys so much for wondering where I was! And the PMs and phone call. Wow. You made me get all teary!

Sorry I disappeared yesterday. I got the dreaded phone call from the school nurse. Adam hurt his finger in P.E. and then the fun began.
I won't go into all the details but hours and hours, and one Quick Care visit (where's the Quick part??), one X-ray, two prescriptions, and lots of running around later..........he broke his finger.
On his right hand too, of course. Poor guy! So that took most of the day.

Then joy of joys, we got a notice from the twins school about lice!! I checked the girls and didn't see anything. I've been through it 6 years ago in CA. with Noelle so thankfully I knew what to look for.
But to be safe, I treated them anyway, boiled all the brushes, threw out all the hair accessories, bagged up all the stuffed animals, washed all the bedding and clothes, sprayed the beds, couches and car, and basically was working till midnight just because I figured when it comes to that, better safe then sorry.

I took them to school this morning and even made the nurse look to make extra sure I wasn't missing anything and she said they were both fine. So fingers crossed, hopefully it will stay that way!

Needless to say it was an exhausting day yesterday. No time to get online at all.

Also today I had a dentist appointment follow-up. Bottom line I still need: 2 MORE tooth extractions, 3 cavities filled (one is deep and might turn into a root canal) and only once all that is done and healed can we even begin to think of starting work on my lower partial.
Moral of the story: GO to the dentist! Don't put it off!! That, and don't have multiples. They'll ruin your mouth.

Well now aren't y'all sorry you asked.

So I had a taste of what it's like to have a life and I don't like it!!!!
But thanks for asking about me.

Now............off to catch up!

Oh, one more thing.........is it freakin March yet?!?!?!

I ordered mine around 11 on Tuesday and it arrived at my house this morning via the normal ground shipping that they said takes 7-10 days!!! I am excited to get home and see if I got it right this time!!!
