I can't believe I haven't found a tote that I liked yet.

I am doing laundry right now and need to mention it since I have always wanted to use this smilie. :laundy:

I can't believe I haven't started looking for a tote yet . . .

That means you can wait for me to get there. :) My plane lands at 8:35 that day, and since Cheryl added my name to the reservation I think that means I can get into the room, and then I'll come over to DL asap! So you can be my welcoming committee.

Yes Molly--you should be able to get into the room. I'll make sure when I check in on Thurs.

Am I the only one in the group who is a ride kind of person? You know, the kind of person that likes to get on as many rides as possible.

Although I do like to take moments to stop and just look around, my solo trips are spent rushing around from one to the next ride. :) But then my guys like dawdling, they don't like rushing, so family trips are much clamer than I actually enjoy.

...and check out the changes on IASW (although that rides annoys me just a little).

You totally lost me there....:upsidedow I adore IASW!

If not it's no biggie, I'll just leave my bag with the bell people.

Though actually, hmm...if I just get off the D Express bus at DLH and go through DTD, I could just rent a locker at the picnic area again...might save me time...hmm....

I guess I haven't gotten to the point of wanting to sit back and people watch, or wanting to watch any of the shows more than once, or getting autographs from all the characters, or.......

Nope, I just want to go on rides. (Although I will watch the fireworks and Fantasmic over and over again. Love those shows!)

Is that strange for a pushing 40 year old woman? I have a feeling I know what the answer is.:goodvibes

I'm totally a ride person. Amy, too. I like the silly pics and stuff, too, but I really enjoy the rides. And, I'll be just 40, then, too. In fact, I can't wait until Ethan and I can make it up to Magic Mountain to do all the really fun rides!
I think we'll have more than enough time to do it all. I'm not doing any of the tours, so we can hang, if you want. Thursday is a really good time to get rides in, too. I can't remember off hand when you're flying in.

I love the rides too, my family rolls their eyes and give the heaving sighs when I insist we go thru Fantasyland. They allow it becaude they know I will be one unhappy momma until I get my Peter Pan fix. :thumbsup2
We went nealry every Sunday last year, after awhile we all calmed and changed our ways. Some days I went around the park just snapping pictures and drinking in the little details that get missed.

I need to get my Peter Pan fix too.

I will be taking my DD and my parents to Magic Mountain over her spring break. Gonna stay up there for 3 days and take it slow. I don't do most of the rides, so that's why I am bringing my father. Then I need someone to sit with, so that's why I am bringing my mother. They have a deal to buy one day get the year for free.

:surfweb: hmmmm
Inappropriate graphics will be deleted from signatures. Please remember this is a family-friendly site

so umm what was the inappropriate graphic? popcorn::

Stripper shoes? :p

I plan to do Pixie Hollow for sure. DD is anti princess and pixie, so I will be able to do it without her on this trip. I hope to go at right after rope drop on that Thursday.

Are you going to be there that early on Thursday?? Oooh, I'll be there and might be interested in going to Pixie Hollow.......

So did anyone figure out if it would be feasible to go the PFF before the tour on Friday? If not, that's okay, but it would be great if it is possible :cheer2:

Debra and I are scheduled to land in Orange County at 1:49pm on Thursday. I'm not sure what Deb has planned, but I was planning on hitting the parks and getting in as many rides as I can before the pizza party. I figured Thursday would be our best day for lower crowds and more ride time.:hyper: :cool1: :hyper:

Do you or any of the other ladies want to meet up somewhere Thursday afternoon and hit some rides? :cheer2: ::yes::

Count me in! It will be my fourth day there, I will be itching for some company and less running around in my DL deprived crazed state of mind. . :p

Stacie(lee) I am with you there. If we end up with extra fastpasses we ALWAYS give them away but we try to make sure we give them to people who look "deserving" ;) And we also make sure that people understand that eventhough the time is expired that they can still use them cuz we don't want them not believing us and throwing them away. Otherwise we will give them to someone else.

And Hey CAPRI! Mom and I arrive at 2:00 on Thursday. Only a little after you guys. Maybe we can meet up. What transportation are you using to get to Hojo's? Mom and I were thinking about just getting a cab. I know you can usually make a deal with the cab drivers to get a fixed price cab for about 40.00 regardless of how many people. What were you going to do?

Maybe we can somehow share transportation or something. And I know mom was thinking about just shopping but I would LOVE to hit the parks so maybe I can convince her!! I would LOVE to meet up with you guys!!

I'm not doing laundry today. Instead I'm cleaning house, getting ready for a Super Bowl party tomorrow.

Hanging my head in shame, my first concert was Prince with Sheila E, Purple Rain concert. And, I started crying, as one of the songs really reminded me of my boyfriend that I had just had to leave back in MN.

I've also seen Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, U2, Steve Miller Band, the Wiggles, Barbara Streisand with Il Divo, Elton John....I think I was born during the wrong decade.

Oh, and before anyone says anything about multi-quotes, I've read four pages and just respond as I feel, it's not my fault no one else is posting! :flower3:

My first concert was Debbie Gibson.:thumbsup2 1988. I was 11 years old.

And I love January's post this morning!:)

I have a dry erase board with all vacations listed for the year and I change the number of days remaining each Sat. So I knew it was 33 days, but seeing her post sure put a big ole smile on my face. :goodvibes

Those of us doing the Segway (and anyone else who wants to meet us) I think right after the tour we should get a FP for Soarin' and then hightail it to Toy Story. Trust me, that line gets very long, very quick. What do you think?

thank you! I am really excited!! The whiteboard will keep the anticipation coming for you.

All my comments are in red. I don't know why......just thought I'd try something new.

Awesome! We can rock Space Mountain!:cool1:

OH TINA!! I'm wondering if we should set up a time for a big group of us to head on over to the 'Shoe to see our boyfriend. I'm sure everyone will want to see us swoon  (no, I don't think there will be any catfight, ladies. Sorry to disappoint). Tina and I have come to an understanding that we share our beloved Kirk. Just don't anyone else get any ideas of wanting a piece of him. There's only enough for me and Tina. :love1:

WEll, who is this we are talking about? Kirk?

Ride person over here!:wave2:

I just can't relax there. Everytime I walk through those gates, I feel the need to get as much done as possible, since we're only there for a finite period of time. My family just doesn't wait in line to meet characters and such (unless the line is really short), because we feel like we're wasting valuable time. They would rather ride Star Tours 6 times in a day, Big Thunder 7 times in a day, Space Mountain 3 times in a day, ect.

I will have to ride Pirates on our trip though. It's a classic I just can't miss. (Although I do understand what you're saying). I also want to go through the castle walk-thru, and check out the changes on IASW (although that rides annoys me just a little).

I'm all for NOT waiting in long lines!

I love POTC. It is a great relaxing ride. I am so excited!!

I was born in 1978... He He He

Looks good to me! I will do those things with you!

I was born in 1977. :goodvibes

Those are cute! I love smileys.::yes::

I am not doing any housework today...like I should be. I am sitting here on my rump.

Rub it in, rub it in.

(p.s.--Have a told you that the picture of Maddie in your sign is sooo cute. I love the dress (accented by Stitch of course!)

I'm all for sharing a cab. We were going to take a shuttle (Supershuttle), but if there's four of us splittling a cab, then that would fit in my budget. Cabs are faster and easier.....just walk outside the airport and there's an endless line of them.:thumbsup2

Are you only doing carryon, or will you need to pick up checked bags?

Some of the 6th graders that come to the reading lab that I work in were asking me when I was born. After I told them, they were saying I was so old. :sad2: One girl even thought I was over 40...but she did redeem herself and said I look as old as her 19 year old sister.

Aw, that is sweet of you to say that about Mads. I bought that outfit on eBay. It was custom made, but very inexpensive. It fit her for about 2 Disney trips. I just recently resold it on eBay for as much as I paid for it.:thumbsup2

LOL--I think I posted this before, but I once asked my Mom if she moved from Missouri (where she was born) to California in a covered wagon!

And way to go on getting the money back out of the dress!
