Michelle,

You 100% didin't take my thunder or anything. I was just being my typical smarta** self and bemoaning that I had to sell the stupid things. My DD's troop wants to some kind of overnight thing at SeaWOrld. Maybe if they were doing DL I would be less bitter!!

Cookies, Rah!!! I wish I thought to bring mine to the candy buffet!!!!

AmySUe

AmySue I so feel your pain/bitterness. My dd's troop wants to go camping in Malibu. The girl's each have a quota of 200 boxes each....I've tried telling my dd that it probably won't happen. We have 5 troops on our small base all going after the same customer base. I'm pretty sure we'll hit 100 and I'll be happy with that. I just hate that they put so much pressure on the girls. Okay my vent is over.

Time for me to catch up on today's posts.

Yeah, AmySue can be the runner. I will just be the waddler.
:rotfl: You and me both!

Beth - I just heard a song on the radio that would be fun to hear on the CD.....Hanson, MMM bop. Can't stand the song, but I love it at the same time. :cool1:
:scared1: :rotfl: kidding, I can add it.
Any other's anyone? I'm going to start working on it tomorrow so speak now!

Oh, and that is as messy as Nolan got. He doesn't like stuff on his face. His hands were covered though!
When it was Adam's first birthday we were so excited. We had images of him covered in cake. I bought him his own cake to make a mess with, and a separate cake for the guests to eat.
Well, the time came, we sang to him and he wouldn't touch it!!! :rotfl:

That is tough. I don't blame you for being irked. I would be too. I hate selling stuff. I never do it when the schools send stuff home. It's always junk. I'd rather just send in a check. At least everyone likes cookies so hopefully that will make it a tad easier.

Good luck to all the salesgirls out there!! pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Not to make it worse for you Girl Scout Moms--but when I lived in Salt Lake City my entire office wanted cookies so bad--and nobody knew any GS's--seriously--it was so bad we ended up wasting time at work one day and finding the number for the National Office--calling there--they put us in touch with the local council office, and we finally got a couple of little girls in uniforms (with sashes and everything!) to come to our office and sell us cookies! They made a TON of sales that day!

I have to agree with the sentiment, there is NO sleeping in at DL. I also tell
crying toddlers that there is no crying at DL. I fear most don't get the League of their own reference!!

I am all about the PFF, I think it will be priceless!!!! However, I think we need to plan this a little tighter. I am not involved with the VIP tour, so I'll let you guys take care of that. The thing that concerns me is FP's!!!! Who is collecting FP's while the tiara toting crew is waiting in line? I think I should run to space mountain while the rest dash to Pff. Hand me your ticket medium and I will collect FP's for the group.

I do not have a tiara, however I do have an 8 year old DD, so how do I leave the house with one of hers without causing suspician?

It's getting closer!!!

AMYSUE

Defintely need the FP runner.

Im down with us having a FP runner, or two while the group hops in line at PFF. Good thinking Amy Sue.

And there is no need to sleep while on vacation. Sleep when you get home.

I agree about the waiting on sleep while on vacation. That's why I took 4 more days off after I get back from the trip.

So are we wearing Tiarras, ears, and/or a combination of the 2 for the PFF visit? I can borrow one of my daughter's tiarras if need be and I have a set of Princess Minnie Ears that I could wear.

I am so glad DD is not in GS anymore. I hated cookie season so much. My co workers loved it. Me, not so much. I don't let her sell stuff for school or anything else. For softball, I would rather just send in a check. But, I could go for some tagalongs. Yummy.

I am stealing, um, I mean borrowing ;) one of Brianne's tiara's for the PFF. I cannot wait! And I love the idea of a FP runner. Great idea Amy.:thumbsup2

Wendy, you seem down girl. What's up? Drowning your sorrows in booze only feels good for that night. The next day...not so good.

Cheryl, I cannot believe you have not seen Toy Story or Nemo. They are both really, really good! We'll have to have a movie night sometime when we are in our "villas". Have you decided on any dates yet? I'm thinking not until around Feb 1st - hopefully it will be not too crowded.

Heather, little Nolan is way too cute!

Well, I thought about Princess Minnie ears but then that's an added expense for anyone who doesn't already have one, and they aren't that cheap from what I remember.
So I thought everyone can bring a tiara from home. Steal one from your daughter OR they sell them cheap at Target, and party stores like Party City.
Those are just my thoughts. Everyone else?

I think getting cheap tiaras would be better than expensive ears.

OK, good. I think I'm going to buy one from Party City. They had some fun ones.
Claires has some pretty ones but they are as much as $15! Too much for me. lol

Yep!:thumbsup2

Now, if only I can get myself to actually buy a tiara. I haven't done ANYTHING girly for......................well, it's been forever. I can't remember the last time. Anyway, it's been so long that I wore anything girly, I'm going to feel completely wierd.

Or maybe not. Maybe I'll like it. This is completely foreign territory for me.:goodvibes

Walk on the wild side.....get a tiara. If you feel weird about getting one.....get a gift bag as well and they will think you are buying it for someone else.

My DD has always been pretty girly which is alien to my tomboy nature, so this tiara wearing will be a new one for me too. I think that I will like it.

About a year ago, my DD and I were in line for PFF behind a long suffuring man and his two totally decked out princesses. He started out holding the youngest one's tiara since she had obviously given it up. Later he just put it on his head. I saw him all over the park. Tall stringy man with curly hair and an Ariel Tiara. I took his photo, but can't find it now. It was cute!!

So,if tall gangly man in cargo shorts can sport one, so can I!!!!

Oh heck yeah! I'm gettin' one! And I'm gonna wear it! I may feel ridiculous.....but I'm gonna wear it with pride.:rotfl:

Tiarra it is. I can borrow my youngest daughter's Princess Aurora one. :thumbsup2

I think you will like it! Maybe you'll start hosting tea parties and wearing it to the grocery store or the dry cleaners. ;)

I just wanted to say that so far I have received 13 PMs for the candy buffet, and OMG, it is all sounding so good!!!!!! I can't wait to see it all put together!! :hyper:
