okay, things changed.

I'm going March 2 to 6th, not exactly planned to be part of the ladies trip (no weekend) just a solo trip to escape the dreaded MN winter. BLEH!

I may come by to crash at the meet and greet on Thursday, need to look and see when last ART shuttle leaves DL as I am staying at the Ayres Anaheim , near the Honda Center. (It was cheap, coupon queen ruled my brain that day )

Otherwise, I will see you at PFFF and Small World.

Whoo hoo! I've been trying to get my girlfriend from MN to come out and enjoy the warmth, but she hasn't so far.
Anyway, I am more than happy to give you a ride back to your hotel after the party, if you can get there. Plus, many of us will be in DL for most of the day. Make sure Beth gets your cel phone number so we have it.

As usual I am too lazy to go back and multiquote, so here goes nothing...

I am totally down with tiaras on Friday morning. I was one of those brides who wore one instead of a veil. I thought about both but since we had an outdoor wedding in the runins of a moorish style castle on the coast of South Carolina, I decided that I didn't want to fight the wind. It turned out to be a VERY good decision as we had a rainy and windy wedding day, although the rain stopped about 15 minutes before the ceremony began. Yes, I am a and I did get married in a castle!

As for PFF vs. the VIP tour start time, here is my previous experience. The line for PFF starts as soon as the park opens and it moves at a snail's pace. In fact, one day I stood there and watched a snail while I stood in line, and the snail was moving quicker than I was (I swear that is a true story! )

Soooo, if we are going to do PFF, at least one person needs to run (or walk very, very swiftly) back to PFF to get a spot in line. Every 1 person ahead of you in line equals somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 minutes that you will wait once the PFF Royal Walk opens for business.

Meanwhile, if there is anyone who is doing VIP that is NOT interested in (or not desperate to) meet the , it would make sense for them to go directly to the tour garden (by Guest Services on Main Street) a few minutes before 10 to meet up with our plaid. Then, they could walk back towards PFF and meet up with the group that should be either very close to meeting the or just finishing up doing so.

I think that we can make it work with minimal impact on the VIP tour IF there is someone who is willing to bypass PFF. I would love to meet the princesses, but if no one else steps up, I can be the one to meet the plaid and bring them back towards the rest of the

My assumption is that it starts from the tour garden where all the other tours originate from. I am trying to do this from memory, but I think that the tour garden is right after you walk through the tunnel on the left hand side of the park, right before you get to guest services, but it might be on the other side of the tunnel (closer to the park gates).

Thanks--that's my other excuse for not doing PFFF--I am currently scheduled on the VIP Tour (unless someone, ahem, takes my place which I will willingly give up) so don't want to be rushing about and worried about missing the start of the VIP tour because I'm meeting princesses. If I end up not doing the VIP Tour, then I will commit to doing the princess thing. Followed by the bawb thing, right? (or do I have my days mixed up?)

It can start anywhere. Last year it started out in the Esplanade between DL and DCA--they will tell us where it starts.

I don't know if anyone else has thought of this, or even cares, but I realized last night that I could buy Disney dollars with my Disney Visa once I get to DL so that I could still earn my beloved points during this trip!

But, I know that there are some things that I will need real cash for, so I am trying to plan ahead for those instances.

One of those things is the VIP tour guide tip, as I figure that the CMs would appreciate really money versus mouse money. For those who did VIP last year, how much did you tip? 10%, 15%, 20%? My guess is that whatever you gave Ryan was too much , but I would love to know nonetheless what the expectation is!

Cheryl... i feel the same way as You.. on the morning of the VIP tour i don't want to be rushing around and miss the beginning of the tour.. for my mom and i this is our first tour.. so i want it to be relaxed and special.

I can skip PFF (I've done it before since Ty is still in the phase where he likes ALL characters and doesn't realize that princesses are a girl thing yet), but I would love to go if there are other VIPers who would also like to attend.

I think that if we get in line right at 9 that we should be able to be done by close to 10, maybe a few minutes after. And, I am okay with meeting up with those who are not going to PFF anywhere in the park that is convenient for all.

I may not be a teenager anymore, but without a stroller to worry about, I can navigate the park pretty quickly and efficiently!

Ummm. I think so? I'm really bad at this tech stuff. I did, however, figure out today how to take the battery out because the new Blackberry Storm tends to have "brain farts" and the only way to fix it is to remove and put and battery back. (PITA)

I arrived at my interview, and the person interviewing me went home early. She forgot completely about me. Now, Monday is going to be crazy. I have to get the boys out of the house by 9am, taking them to the zoo while the hubbie watches the movers, then a well child visit at 1pm, and now I have to work an interview into the late afternoon! Arrrgh! I think I'll have the job though!

Ahhh, gearing up this morning for massive cookie sales! Zoe is in girl scouts, I'm her leader, and tomorrow at 9am is the big cookie sales start time/date. This is her first year being able to sell them, and she wants to reach pretty high goals. Her troop wants to go to DL! And of course, I want to support them in their disney obsession building!
So, we'll be all dressed up and heading out tomorrow morning!
