I had to check these new smiles out so here goes. To all of you going to DL tomorrow, I hope it's not :crowded: and that you all have a great time party: .

Beth we have no exciting plans this weekend either. Unless you count :laundy: and :happytv: ? Other than that we're cleaning the house (needs a good vacuuming, etc....well you get the idea).

To this weekend's Disney crew, have a great time! Please be sure to blow a kiss to my boyfriend, and tell him I'll see him in a few weeks!

And to Beth, good luck tomorrow. We'll all be thinking of you.

I'm off to work...

Best of luck to Beth, I hope things go smoothly for you. Here's some pixie dust for you. pixiedust:

To those going to the park today, have a churro for me! :wave2:

Have a great time girls!

I am heading to my WW meeting. I am dreading it. As not to give TMI, I know that it is going to show that I gained....and it is only my second week.

Anywho---will one of you ladies at DL have a corn dog for me? I love those crispy thangs!

Good Morning ladies!! :wave2: I hope you all have a great day today. I'm getting ready for my appointment and I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the well wishes!! I really do appreciate it. :goodvibes :grouphug:

Cheryl, I'm glad everyone arrived safely and it sounds like so far you all have been having a fun time! :cool1:

OKay, talk to y'all later. :)

Hope your meeting isn't as bad as you think it's going to be.

Did they give you the Momentum stuff already? Hubby does WW at work, and they just yesterday gave out the books and such. He loves the weight booklet. :)

I'm home!!! I survived. Well, at least so far. LOL
It didn't take long at all. Less then 15 minutes for him to pull both teeth, put in some synthetic bone and suture me up. Now I'm stuffed full of guaze and still numb.

I'm sure once the numbness wears off I'll be screaming bloody murder. But for now, I'm ok. Tired. It was mentally draining being so tense and stressed out about it for days (weeks?). Now I'm just praying I don't get dry socket as I've heard the pain from that is excruciating.

Anyway, just checking in. Thanks again for the well wishes, thoughts, and prayers. Now just keep fingers crossed for me that it heals properly. I go back in a week to have the stitched removed.

Talk to y'all later. I'm gonna chill with a movie! :happytv: No comedies though, my mouth can't handle the laughing!! ;)

Wow, that is fast! I'm glad it wasn't too bad for you. Lay low this weekend and make your family take care of you. You deserve it!

Glad it went well. Take your meds BEFORE the numbness wears off instead of waiting until it hurts. You will stay more on top of the pain that way. Watch a sappy drama!! I always feel better after a good cry

Beth: glad the initial dentist stuff wasn't as bad as you anticipated (sometimes the anticipation is worse than the reality). Stay quiet today and let yourself heal. And remember--better living through chemicals! :rotfl2:

Yeah Beth! You did it, you brave girl! Now, I am seconding and thirding the advise to not wait for the pain, but keep ahead of it for probably at least 3 to 4 days, while you do your initial healing. Keep quiet and calm and relaxed. Let Ruben do all the butt kicking that needs to be done for a few days. Lock yourself in your room if necessary:)

Thanks everyone! What would I do without you?? :) Although I don't think crying in the dentist's chair before he even entered the room, constitutes being brave. Oh well.

The numbness was going away, so I took my first Vicodin and an antibiotic. It's still bleeding so I'm still packed with gauze. I've been icing it to help with the swelling, and just kicking it in bed.
I've watched The Illusionist (love Edward Norton) and am now watching Under the Tuscan Sun (love that movie).

There's only one problem I'm facing right now............I'm HUNGRY!!!! :rotfl2: My MIL is here and she's making taquitos and they smell soooooo good!! LOL

We went out for Chinese food, came home and drank girlie beer and tried the chintzy cupcakes (we're saving the cake I bought). Stacie made DL Pumpkin Muffins and blueberry muffins for breakfast. They both had long driving days so want to sleep in in the monring.

But Stacie--we're all in agreement we want to be there when DL opens at 8 a.m. on Sunday. So plan on that.

Talk to you all tomorrow!

Cheryl

Great! I will see you guys at 8am then.

Hi, Molly! I actually lost 2.2 pounds so I am pretty happy. I love WW. After DD was born I lost 57 pounds using the Flex plan in 2005. I stopped doing the things I learned and gained back all of it (plus another 20---ouch). The Momentum plan is great! I just started my 3rd week today so I have 3 booklets so far.

It seems to make more sense to me than the older plan. Good luck to your hubby! IT is hard to lose weight.

Wow, that was fast! It seems to have gone pretty smooth for you...so that is great! I hope your healing goes as smoothly as getting the procedure done.

Relax, rest, and enjoy having Reuben take care of you.:thumbsup2

Hello ladies !

It's been awhile since I've posted, but I wanted to at least check in real quick and let you all know that my new DD was born on 12/29/08  . She was a little late, but at least she was born before the end of the year for a tax deduction .

Her name is Laila and as soon as I have another free minute, I'll post a picture.

I didn't read all the older posts so I hope everyone is doing well so far in the new year :grouphug:.

I'll talk to you all later :)!

Congrats! It's always when hubby is dreading meetings that he has a loss like you did. :)

I've done the same thing weight-wise...lost a bunch, met Robert, gained weight. We both joined, lost a ton, got married, I got insta-pregnant and gained a bunch (despite eating almost nothing due to massive food aversions), lost a bunch in the 2 weeks before I could start back with WW, lost all but 5 pounds to get to wedding-weight, then sat there for a year. Finally quit, and have been hard at work in gaining every last bit of it back.

But I'm still not motivated to go to WW, and I'm not sure why.

Hubby has been going for quite awhile now, but the recent diet changes he made since getting a diabetes diagnosis (though with only food and exercise changes he now has constant blood sugar readings that would challenge anyone to make that diagnosis now) helped to kick-start his loss and he's much happier now!

MamaKate, congrats! Pretty name!
