Hello again ladies. I finally had time to load some pictures on my computer. So here is Laila at 1 week old:

Katie, she is absolutely gorgeous... congratulations! That picture is making me nostalgic for when Ty was that small and still a baby instead of the active (and sometimes patience trying) toddler he is today. How could 16 months go by so quickly???

Enjoy the next several weeks, get as much sleep as you possibly can, and I hope that you will stop by in March!

As for the totes, if you've already spent a lot on the bag itself then don't worry about it. The "fillers" were only to make the cost even. So if I find a cute tote bag on clearance for 10 bucks, I can add some extras to make it equal to the required amount. Make sense?

PLEASE everyone resist the temptation to go over board on extras!!! I know it's fun, but we want to keep it fun and NOT make anyone feel they didn't include enough little goodies inside it, kwim?

Ok, I can't keep up with all you ladies. I know all this planning has been going on, but I just don't have the time to read back 10-12 pages since I last checked in.

Plans have changed a bit for me with regards to the trip. I already informed my roommates, but I'm not going to be flying in on Thursday.

My family is going to head over to Carlsbad on Sunday the 1st, and then go to Legoland on Monday. Then we'll drive up to Claremont and stay with our friends the rest of the week until Thursday night when my dh will drive me over to the HoJo to join you all. Then he'll stay with my friends again in Claremont with the kids until I get done on Sunday evening and we'll drive back to Phoenix that night.

So here's a question. Will I be the biggest party pooper ever if I don't participate in the tote exchange? I think I'm going to have enough of a hard time just getting the t-shirt made and getting my dh to produce the lanyards.

Will I miss out on BIG FUN if I don't give/receive a tote?? I honestly have about 30 totes and I really don't need another one.

Ok, I gotta get dinner made and LOST is on tonight! Woo hoo!

What's more amazing is that I left the house after you wrote that post, and now we're back and there are 6 more pages that I haven't read yet. Jinkies!

In a better mood! Cat hasn't expired and almost seems to be doing better (my magical healing properties just by being near, obviously) and then we went to the playground and E met another sturdy 4 year old to play with, and I might have made a friend too.

Well in a little bit, I'm off to go teach my preschoolers at church. They are a hoot!

But you know the biggest hoot is?

On Sunday, I saw one of my little boys from my class at DL right after I left the other ladies. What a shock, especially if you were to know this kid.

I have been teaching little kids for longer than Wendy is old.

Anywhos, this young boy is the absolute worst child I have ever taught!! I mean we are talking bad, bad, bad. He just won't sit still for a minute, shoves kids, yells when we are singing nicely, rolls around on the floor, won't be quiet for hardly a second (which is really hard when you are telling a story, or talking to some other child)...............goodness..............you name it, he does it. We are pretty sure he has some serious problems, so we are really trying to work with him , and have the utmost patience...................but sometimes it is extremely hard. Especially, when the other kids are involved. It has come that we have to have someone extra come into the classroom just for him. Otherwise, it is pure mayhem. You should see the lilttle girls in the classroom. They will sit like little angels, and give this look when he does stuff. Just to look at the girls makes me laugh. They get very upset over him.

So now that you know his background, you can imagine how I felt when I saw him with his mom and dad at DL. His Mom is the sweetest thing, and I think she loves to come on Wednesday night just to get a break. Poor thing. If I had a little 5 year old who was that naughty, it would be very hard.

So I am getting myself mentally prepared for tonight.
