I would do egg noodles with butter and parsley (so you can use the sauce..), roasted veggies, and salad. Yum!

Welp all the kiddos are home from school. Lynn got a card from her youth group and a balloon from a friend at school so she is a happy camper. And Katy had her field trip to the zoo today so she is happy too. Poor Shelby on the other hand is still fighting her cold from last week. She got what Katy had and poor baby was up coughing so hard last night she got sick . But hopefully she will get over it soon. I got a lovely bill from the ortho today. Lynn's mom was supposed to pay half of Lynn's braces and then bailed so I have been payin the balance now for months and we are ALMOST done paying. Well I paid my 2nd to last payment last month and then I got a bill today that said we had a late fee. Only problem was it was due on the 25th and I sent it on the 15th and it CLEARLY stated on the bill that they received it on the 20th!!! So I called to clear it up and of COURSE they weren't open. So now I have to stew about it till Monday. I have hated this ortho since we started with them. They overcharged us in my opinion and then the lady who does the billing is REALLY rude and then when I told them that we were dealing with Lynn's mom who may bail on us and to PLEASE be cooperative and make sure that we got her billed before she could bail on us she didn't do it and that is how we got stuck with the balance because she waited too long! GRRRRR. So anyway we are really hoping that this child support thing goes through so we can recoup some of this. But anyway I was not too thrilled to get this stupid bill but you know it is always murphy's law to get something like that on a Friday when you can't do anything about it all weekend.

But anyway we are all home now and I have a roast in the oven and it has been raining and yucky so it is a good night to stay in and just watch the old tube. One of my old favs Ghost Whisperer is on tonight so DEF going to watch that and then prob do movies with the girls.

Then tomorrow hopefully Shane is going to help Katy with her science project (the solar system) Should be interesting And then tomorrow night is the big birthday dinner. Lynn is turning 17! Then Sunday Shane is suposedly going to go help a friend with some work. So that is my exciting weekend.

Hope you guys have some fun stuff planned. Next week not too much planned and then the following week the girls have the entire week off. If nothing else hopefully we can maybe go catch a dollar movie or do something fun. We shall see.

Sorry, in my book, pizza goes with everything. Besides, I don't even know what short ribs are. Do they have long ribs?
Come to think of it I don't know what Chianti is either. Sounds like something I heard Hannibal Lector mention in Silence of the Lambs.

But anyway I was not too thrilled to get this stupid bill but you know it is always murphy's law to get something like that on a Friday when you can't do anything about it all weekend.

Well it looks like I got the job I was meeting about today! Appetizers for 300 or so people at the end of March. It is a fundraiser for a communtiy service group in the South Bay Area that provides rotating shelters for men, low-cost housing for women and children, and food pantries where people can just pick up whatever they need to get by. They are having former Cirque du Soliel performers do a show, aps from us, and dessert from somebody else. We're actually looking into doing a cany buffet--Thanks Beth!!!!!
Now the fundraisers need to do their job, and the event should be a great success!

Does anyone know anything about the Napa Rose Lounge? I've never spent much time in the GCH so I was checking out allears menus to see what they have to eat there and came across a listing for that.

Actually I was thinking of doing some exploring in the GCH on the way back from the DVC tour. I know some ladies are doing the late night dessert at BB but I'll be eating there once already that day, so I'm going to skip that.

Anyway, I saw a listing for the lounge and was wondering if anyone has been in there?

For those who still need to order (Stacie?) I got the Performance Micro-Fiber T-shirt in 2x--it's a little big in the shoulders but not too much. And the fabric is WONDERFUL. It was a little bit more than the cotton T, but I think it will overall be more comfortable (especially if it's hot).

I ordered it on February 3rd and got it today (Feb. 6th)--they were FAST.

Mine arrived yesterday, but due to having to pick it up from our community office, I didn't get it until today. But, as others have reported the Ladies Casual Scoop XL fits more like a XXL. And, as others have also reported it is thin, but I happen to like Anvil brand t-shirts, so it is good for me.

Beth, I can guarantee that this shirt would fit you well. In fact, you might even be able to get away with the size L. As I can't remember the last time a large fit me, I would be tempted to order it just to say I have something in my closet that size!

Give them a call. Its not like you have to marry them or anything. And I mean that. My BFF met a guy on eharmony. She didn't want to go out with him. I do miss dating. Marriage is boring sometimes.

Then tomorrow night. Chris, the guy who I made dinner for a few wks ago. Well we hung out last night at Karaoke and he asked if I had plans for Saturday night. I don't. So we are having dinner & then going to the casino/bar. The only thing he requested was that the place I choose for dinner needs to have a TV so we can watch the Gonzaga basketball game. Ok I can deal with that. I like Gonzaga....So it should be fun. I am excited.

I was digging in my hall closet and came across our "Disney" blankets. We call them that because those are the ones we use each time for watching Fantasmic.

I have three of them, about medium size, so depending on how close we want to be I can fit between 12-15 ladies on there. So remember if anyone wants to come join me to watch the show Saturday night you are welcome to. First come, first served, lol. But I'll be there waiting for it like this:

I hate trying to figure out what to do with DH when we have a night available. We usually just go to Borders and look at books since we cannot ever agree on a movie. We both like books, so that is usually what we do on our dates.
