Hi Ladies!

I hope you all had a wonderful time on the weekend. I'm going to go back and read the posts from just before the trip and over the weekend to see what has been going on.

Yes, I've been slacking and not reading. I'm a bad Diva. I blame Facebook!!! It's evil.

Oh, that and the guy I'm dating. It's all HIS fault I'm never over here to catch up. You guys just need to post stuff on Facebook so I can keep up with the latest news.

Miss you all!

I'm home too!!
:faint: :faint: :faint:
I need a vacation, from my vacation!!!:rolleyes1 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I agree with everyones posts so far, and more. Had a wonderful time! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

I will be posting more later!

Steph, did you ever get back to Point Mugu (or whatever the temp tattoo place is called)? Make any purchases?

I did do it. I put it on last night after my shower. Yes he did see it quite quickly, actually. Since the first time he's lifted the back of my shirt (on purpose) just to see it. He gave it 2 :thumbsup2 . Although he said he was quite shocked that I would do something like that. :confused3 I don't think I'll be posting that picture though, no one needs to see the stretch marks that are back there. :rotfl:

I know exactly what you mean about forgetting about what happened, when it happened, where it happened and who I was with at the time. I did manage to keep track of all the rides, attractions, and shows that I did over the course of the trip.

I think this timeframe was perfect for us. Even on Sunday when they said they were experiencing high crowds it really wasn't too bad for me anyway. The weather was awesome as well. :goodvibes

I was wondering how it was going to be for you guys on Sunday. The Sunday before when we arrived it wasn't bad at all. We left around 3 on Saturday and the park was much more crowded on Saturday than it was Sunday. I was hoping it was like that for you as well.

We met Maynard at the Opera House too. I think my mom just about peed her pants as soon as he started in! She couldn't even look at him, and he kept calling her over. We were pretty delerious with exhaustion by the time we saw him.

My boyfriend was just fine, thank you for asking. And there wasn't even a bit of a catfight. He came out after the show and we got a picture of the threesome, I mean the three of us! :love1: Callie will have to post it when she gets home. He chatted with Marty from my phone, too, so I guess that makes it a foursome?:confused3

HMMPH. I ALWAYS KNEW YOU GUYS WERE KINKY.

And Cheryl, thanks again for picking up our passes for us. My mom and I really appreciate it!:grouphug: YOU'RE WELCOME--GLAD I COULD HELP OUT!

Oh, that and the guy I'm dating. It's all HIS fault I'm never over here to catch up. You guys just need to post stuff on Facebook so I can keep up with the latest news.

Hello Ms. Shelley. We had a wonderful time. However, we do need DETAILS on the new guy in your life!!!!!!!

The Vegas girls are home safe and sound, but exhausted. Thanks to everyone for a great trip... I miss you all already!!!

I hope he likes Disney!!!

I'm glad you all got home safe. I've been in recovery mode all day, and I'm counting the hours until I can go to bed!

Hey everyone! We're home, and as everyone else has already said EXHAUSTED! :faint:

What a weekend! I feel like I did so much, yet hardly got to spend time with everyone I wanted to. I did spend a lot of time with Tina and her mom, Donna, whose company I enjoyed so much. Tina, we need to someday do a mother/daughter trip together. I swear our mothers are too similar and would enjoy the heck out of each other! And I agree, a huge highlight of the weekend happened Sunday at approximately 11:56 am. I'll post pics ASAP.

I've already uploaded some pics to my facebook account of the Club 33 brunch. I've got dh working on getting them on our server so I can post them here.

Thanks so much to all the ladies who put in so much hard work on the pizza party and scavenger hunt (which TOTALLY ROCKED!) :thumbsup2

More huge thanks to Steph and Jen who together made it possible for my family to affordably enjoy Disneyland this weekend. :goodvibes :goodvibes

AND . . . Enormous amounts thanks to LittleBlackRaincloud/Heather for the Club 33 invite. That was a once in a lifetime experience that I will never, ever forget (even though I was so tired I probably could have slept through the whole thing). Lesson learned: do not do Segway Tour at 7 am on the last day of a 4 day ladies' trip!

Huge apologies to lilycat/Heather who didn't get a lanyard because of a PM mix-up. :( I feel so bad when things like that happen.

I'm sure I'll post more photos yet tonight. I gotta get these munchkins fed and move some laundry. :laundy:

Sunday scared me, when they made the AP holders get hand stamps when leaving the parks!!!! I've never been there when it was expected to be that busy, not since I've been an adult (I have childhood memories of spending AGES waiting for Space Mountain though).

Yes, he likes Disney.

Hello Ms. Shelley. We had a wonderful time. However, we do need DETAILS on the new guy in your life!!!!!!!

Details? Um, I knew him in High School....he's one of the 'boys' I mentioned back in January. (He's on Facebook if you want to snoop.) We've been 'officially' dating since Feb 28. That should hold you for now. lol

I have a dinner review to write or two. I have all them notes and about 15 sites to check that are way behind on. I aint moving for a week unless mom has her fits.

I am going to the doctor tomorrow to see about getting a jacket started and getting me an ECV. Problem is lifting one into my car but this trip cost me $180 in ECV rentals and I cannot afford to be giving Disney that kind of money that is owed me.

I just found the bag of candy and my monthly snacks in the other room. Troll Calvin cleaned my room and the hall instead of the mountain of dishes.

I met some nice ladies this weekend. Sorry folks but Stacey called jello shots and if you read the fine print it is forever and forever. I had fun on the scavenger hunt even if I could not go into some of the places like Tarzan's Treehouse. I knew about Fess PArker and some of the other stuff as I found a site last week that lists every person on a window and who they were.

I was too sick for the breakfast and slept in on the last day as them twice daily hikes to the park wore me out. Suggestion is evening with a massuese. There are lots of inexpensive group things that could be done that would be allergen friendly, disabled friendly, senior friendly and what ever friendly.

Food
The best thing of course was the candy and I picked through and found some that I liked that were sort of safe. Chocolate is technically not safe but out of my way when there are M&Ms and them starburst fruit chews that I went through a whole pack.

Next best thing was the pizza. I loved the pizza I got on this trip and have longed for the barbecue chicken pizza at Rockett Redd's Pizza Port. Thanks for getting me out of the house as that was the best pizza at Oom Mow Mow.

Salad was ok at Ariels and I wish I could have gotten a great soy free dressing on a great salad. Tri tip twice this week was too salty but it was so tasty. I did not like the cherry pie from home but loved the cornbread. Caramel corn and popcorn and Catch a Flave was wonderful and I am happy. Mint Juleps and criss cross fries and gluten free hot dogs on a bun.
:cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

Hope to see you soon and thannks for the memories. Remember that us with neurovariations are a weird lot but inside we are just like you. I think the Small World ride will stand out for a long time as I had the most fun then and ....

In total agreement with this post. :)

You could probably call Jim and ask for him to send you one. When I very first sent away for info, they sent one of the Perks pamphlets to me along with the Dreams book.

You saw me, we just weren't introduced. I was standing at Cafe Orleans when you came in...I think we were slowly figuring out our bill while you were there, but we were definitely there at the same time. :)

http://www.parkpennies.com/disneypennypress.htm shows the Sword and the Stone penny at Princess Fantasy Faire. It seems to be where the Sleeping Beauty penny was supposed to be, but I have never seen a machine up there. However, I believe others found the machine (though it's possible it wasn't working...someone's penny quest machine (people had different penny quests, in case you weren't aware of that) was Out Of Order and I think it was the one with Sleeping Beauty) so it DOES exist.

I did indeed have a PC for you! It was good.

I won't be able to write a trip report, b/c I stopped taking notes midway through Friday, and have no cohesive memories of the weekend. The way everything was organized, groups formed, changed, did other things...people melted away to do tours or meals or sleep etc...so the group I was with kept changing, and it makes it hard for me to remember what happened first. Well, except for riding Splash...how could I forget having the entire lower half of me absolutely sopping, dripping wet???? And then having to wash Splash water off of my face so I didn't get some horrible disease from duck poop. :rotfl: Amy/Grumpyvet, that would be zoonotic, yes? :upsidedow (or something like that)

Steph, did you ever get back to Point Mugu (or whatever the temp tattoo place is called)? Make any purchases?

Thanks Molly!! Way to take one for the team!! :goodvibes

I followed the posts all weekend long, living vicariously through you all! Also gave my DH the guilt trip a time or two about me not being there with the ladies!! Here's hoping for next year!!

Glad you all had fun!!

I am home from work and exhausted, too. I had the best time. Molly summed up kind of how I feel the 4 days went, too. I had DD with me 2 days and was with various groups of you wonderful ladies the other 2 days. Last year I was so nervous and this year I was not! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Favorite memories are the pizza party and tote exchange, Friday morning princess pix and walking on rides. BB lunch. Scavenger hunt. WIWF tour. Cove Bar. Fireworks last night (I had to skee-daddle before the enormous crowds decended). Heck, the whole thing was awesome. I really want to thank everyone for all the things that made the trip so magical - and mostly Beth, for just being Beth and making it all possible . DisBoard Ladies Rock!!!:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

And I just have to give a special shout out to the "moms". Kelly's mom and Dawn's mom were such awesome people. Those ladies know how to have fun! Hugs to you both! I really enjoyed meeting and becoming friends with you two.:lovestruc The lunch at WCT was so much fun, too!

And... why do we want a sliding wall to the tub?

Remind me to explain it to you sometime away from the DIS. :rolleyes1

Beth knows;)
:thumbsup2

Ok, here's just a thought for next year. I know Kelly and some others mentioned having more time just to chill--if we can get the conf. room for an extra night--what about a movie/pajama party night! Before we sat up the room I saw a screen-so we'd just have to figure out how to get a projector and a movie or such. Just a thought . . . .. .
I love that idea!! Anytime I can go someplace other then Walmart in my pajamas, I'm happy. ;) :lmao:

Thank you first to Beth for spearheading this and managing the event. This trip wouldn't have happened without your enthusiasm, kind and inclusive manner and top notch organizational skills.

Also, thank you to all the ladies who came for the DOLE WHIP FOR BAWB photo event. We collected $125 which I will be sending to the Podcast team tomorrow and I will post our lovely pic on the Dole Whips for Bawb imminently.
Aww, thanks! It was so nice to meet you. :) And thank you for taking up that collection.

So are you ready to come out to Vegas and let me take you to get a real one?? You and me babe, we'll go together. :rotfl:

 Thank you and thank you again for lunch!! I agree, DISboard ladies totally rock!! Our group of gals are some of the nicest, most fun ladies I've met. :)

Is it really over?!?!? It went too fast! But I had a wonderful time and I want to thank everyone for all their hard work. This was a total team effort and everyone contributed in some way.

The Pizza Party was sooooo much fun. I loved it! The hunt was great too. Although it kicked my butt!!! :rotfl:

I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. I don't think I'll be able to do a trip report! I was having too much fun to make notes or take any food porn pics. Although I do have some food porn from Club 33. We'll see. Maybe we'll just all chime in on Stacie's TR. :rolleyes1

I've seen several posts asking about next year. Rest assured dates will be worked on soon. I think we all need a day or two to take a breath first!! :rotfl2:
When the time comes all updates will show up in the thread title, so keep an eye out for that.

In the meantime I hope y'all made it home safe and sound. Get some rest, kiss the hubby, hug the kiddos, play with the dog, start the laundry, etc.

And thanks again for a wonderful time!!! I miss you all already!!!!! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Good plan. Why doesn't everyone hop on....I'll just let everyone piggyback.

I can't believe the weekend is over. It went by so fast it seems like. I had such a great time. I still haven't unpacked. It may take me a week to take care of that. I am not looking forward to going to work tomorrow or school. Plus this time change is doing a number on me. UGH!

On a side note, DD just told me she wants to go on the DC trip with her class next year. So guess where my extra money will be going. Oh well, I guess I will just have to push WDW trip back again.

Like I said earlier, I do plan to do a trip report. I just hope I can get around to it before my next trip. I have notes, and I keep remembering things that I haven't written down yet. So much happened on the trip that I don't know if I will be able to get it all in. I hope I can though.

I am all unpacked, the kitchen is clean, and the laundry is started. Can I collapse now?!?!? :faint:

Let me know when you start your TR and I'll put a link to it on the front page. Same goes for anyone else who is doing a TR. I'll keep all those links on the front page for easy access. :thumbsup2

I don't know why I can't remember much from this trip. :confused3 I wasn't even drinking! I ordered and then gave away all my drinks. :rotfl:

I can't even remember the name of our waiter at CC. Just that he was funny, and kinda cute, and Wendy picked a bad time to take a nap and miss out!! :rolleyes1
Oh yeah, and January's fabulous and oh-so-unlady-like picture. :lmao:
