Girls Only Disneyland Trip!! Old thread. New link in first post

Ok...who hijacked AmySue's account. A year ago I would have never dreamt I would hear words like that out of you. I have to admit, it was fun doing the whole dorm room/cheer camp thing. Reminded me of my youth. I think it truly enhanced the trip.

It reminded me of when I would go to summer camp during high school with my youth group but we had 20+ people in those cabins. Next year we should have a night where we can just hang and relax in our rooms and also a pj & movie night in the conference room.

Cristabel - did you leave a Tink mini back pack? We found one in the room and can't figure out who it's owner is. Let me know.

Yes! AmySue left it for me but I must have forgotten it since I packed up my duffle earlier in the morning. I'll have to figure a way to get it from you. I'll be in the park on March 20th and 27th if you plan on going either of those days. Just call my cell and we'll pick a spot in DL. I know my sister would love it.

This was so much fun, again, just like last year, only better since some of us knew each other so it was easier. I hope the newbies had just as much fun as the oldies!! And just think, next year, the newbies will be the oldies and we'll have new newbies!!

I am bummed that I didn't really get to meet and/or hang out with everyone. Even though some of us had 5 days, it still didn't seem like enough time. I think I talked to everyone, but maybe not. Good thing we have this board to keep in touch.

Big thanks to the pizza party planners, the scavenger hunt planners, the tour planners, and of course the meal planners. What more could we ask for??

Cheryl, I really missed hanging out with you, seems like we were all over the place, but never in the same place. I'll be back out April 8, let me know what your schedule looks like.

Stacie, try and remember all the tag fairy lines on Sunday night, like Steph doing the goat. I can't even remember the others right now!! We definitely needed to write those down.

Heather & Callie, great roommates. We didn't have any problems with our bathroom schedule, and things just seemed to work out so well!!

Kel, thanks for the tote, it is so cute!! And I wish we had time to talk, seems like it was that way with a lot of people.

Can't wait to see the picture of January, sounds like a good one!

Fireworks was great with everyone Sunday night, and the weather held up for the entire trip!

I checked that Chase and it looks like about $450 owed to Chase and I have $600 in the bank so I am doing well and have not maxed the card YET. I cannot believe I had this much fun for so little money and so much food like pizza, tri tip, popcorn, dole whips, ice cream, veggies, chicken dinner, and criss cross fries. It was a time for me to be a free bird and live free and happy and safe from food allergies. It was nice to be out of the house and hurting big time from so much exercise like getting out of the boat at Splash Mountain and the Bobsleds, tow truck please.

Can't wait to see some of you in Vegas in June! Hopefully, there will be no pictures from that trip, I can't even imagine what they would look like!!

Of course I wanted to hang with you all again! The first time one day was not enough, and now five days seemed like it wasn't enough. Shall we make it six next year??

I cannot wait for Vegas either! Good thing we have that to look forward to.

Like I mentioned to some of the girls, I think once we hit 4th or 5th Annual DIS Divas trip we should go to WDW! Now that would totally rock my socks!

I'm feeling down in the dumps today, but that's normal for me when I come home after spending a lot of time in a big group.

If she still wants to go, I'm taking my mom to Disneyland for her birthday March 20th and I'm trying to find a good place for breakfast. I wanted to take her to Storyteller's Cafe but since I'm footing the bill I have to find something nice but thrifty. So far I'm interested in Steakhouse 55. Anyone ever been there?

Cristabel: I LOVE Steakhouse 55 for breakfast. It is really relatively (for Disney) inexpensive and very chi chi inside. Great pics all over the place of old time Hollywood stars--I think your Mom would enjoy it.

I missed seeing you too--along with Callie. I felt like Tarzan on his jungle swing--first with one group, then "swing" into another. It was lovely to be with so many different ladies and meet them all==but still didn't get to spend as much time as I wanted with everyone! Like someone said--next year, right? I also figured there were some of you (like you and Beth) that I was going to be seeing in Vegas or at the mini-meet in October so I tried to spend time with others that I wouldn't see then. And of course I have the group for the mini-Mouse Adventure meet in April!

Thanks to my co-planners on the pizza party--we worked great together, and the scavenger hunt really WAS awesome!! I can't believe you had never done it before because Melody, Wendy and Dawn it ran so smoothly that it was amazing!

And Beth, what would we do without you?

I loved meeting "old" friends as well as the new (and hopefully soon to become "old" friends too).

It's funny...I'm not generally afraid of bacteria or virii, but I'm extremely concerned about the Splash and Grizzly water (mainly b/c I react like CRAZY!).

Ooh you might be extremely happy to know that if you buy resale, even just 25 points if memory serves you are treated EXACTLY like a 160 point DVC-direct buy-in owner. EXACTLY. Perks book, guide, member card, everything. And then you can do add-ons directly through DVC in their low required purchase level. Isn't that cool?

Defintely call HoJo's. I left something behind last year and they had found it for me. I am so tired. We all slept until 7 this morning. My oldest barely made it to school on time today.

My computer is up and running so now I need to reload all of my programs and my printer.... I probably will wait until tonight to do that, this way I won't be interupted by the kids a million and one times....

I'll be on later, right now Raine wants to play Mario Party with me. I think this will be the first time she beats me without my assistance that is.

I am so sleepy. My eyes just want to shut!!

I had such a fabulous time!! I met some pretty amazing women!
Capri~ My flying partner. She is such a sweetheart.
Becci~ My roommate, thanks for putting up with my early mornings. I am so use to getting up at the butt crack that even on vacation I have the hardest time trying to sleep in. You forgot to grab candy for you family from my bags.
I hope you had a good flight home. Mine was great, except for the 1.25 hour drive home, it wasn't that bad until after Ritzville, then I just wanted to be in bed. NOW!!

I enjoyed every minute of the ladies meet. I am not even sure where to begin. I am really sad that I had to leave on Sunday, I would have loved to have gone with Stacie & I think it was Steph to the outlet.

Pizza party was so fun. Bingo was such a nice ice breaker. I am usually pretty quiet, I am a people watcher. So to have to get up and talk & find out about who has done this and that, was a little hard at first but well worth it.
You ladies did a great job putting it together.

A very special thank you to Cheryl for getting to Costco to get my annual pass. Thank you so much!! You are a very special lady.

Tracey my eating partner. Thanks for sharing some great memories & food. Our last ride on TOT was probably the best.

Bethlet!!!

She was with us during Fantasmic and somehow got stuck in the bag with my blankets and hitched a ride home with me. A doll after my own heart.......she managed to find a way to Sin City. LOL

While I was gone, Ruben arranged for his parents to spend another night here in town and booked a hotel for us tonight somewhere (he won't say where, only that it's a surprise) and also got tickets for us to see Phantom of the Opera tonight. So now that I am all unpacked, I need to pack again for overnight.

That's fine. I'm excited to go out. I missed everyone and it will be nice to spend some time with him alone tonight and then we have some fun things planned to do with the kids this weekend.

I think Bethlet might hit the Strip with us tonight.
