Well, unfortunately this situation is considered normal in the classroom I work in. These students are not mainstreamed due to behavior and/or emotional problems. I have taken classes and have had training on how to handle the violence that may occur in our class. There are three adults in this class of 5th and 6th graders. Me (the assistant), a behavior interventionist, and the teacher.

I am just ready for a break from responsibilities and real life. KWIM?

Does anyone know if there is a post office near Disneyland I am joining an exchange - a CANDY EXCHANGE (we did this last year and my DS is so excited to do it again). The send by date is just after I return, but it's way cheaper for me to mail from the US than from Canada (I think). This way I can get some yummy treats from DL to send.....

I think it's cute. And, it is definitely not too gaudy imho. Remember, no matter how outlandishly you think you may be dressed, there will always be at least 10 other people at Disney who stand out even more than our group will!

Beth - is the Pacific Whart Cafe open? Disneyland says the Boudin Bakery and tour are closed during this time (doesn't it?). Isn't that where the bread bowls are made? I hope it's open (love the chicken salad and broccoli soup).

Yesterday a student threw a chair at me from over his head (it missed) and I had to file a ton of paperwork THEN today, the same student got in my face and was yelling at me.

Evening all. As usual you gals have been busy while I was at work. Took me a while to get caught up. It sounds like I may have missed out on the mystery contest but then I am signed up for just about everything else so it is probably ok. I am going to start getting confused as it is LOL.

But anyway Stacerita I wanted to let you know that I sent your check for the pizza party off today. It was a check from mom for both of us and I wrote my screename and her name on there so hopefully that makes sense.

And Stacielee I also sent my photopass check today as well so hopefully everyone gets their respective checks. WHEW! One less thing to worry about!

As far as tiaras mom and I got ours at Claires as well and mom even got us some boas. Is anyone else doing boas? She thought it might be fun and what is a diva without a boa eh?

Just a thought if anyone is interested in joining us in our silliness.

Anyway I had to work for part of the day and then Shane brought the girls and met us for lunch and now he is at work and the girls are at church so I am all by my lonesome just waiting for Idol and Lost!

Thursday - Brown and Pink Shirt from last year (or similar)
Friday - red shirts and tiaras to PFF
Saturday - Tink shirts
Sunday - lime green
Monday - blue/turquoise

Remember that you don't HAVE to wear matching shirts with everyone everyday. Those who choose to can, and those who don't will be mocked. Just kidding. I wouldn't want anyone running out and buying shirts just to match everyday. If you have it and want to great. If not, no worries.

And I say yes to wearing tiaras everyday if you want to. Why not?

Well I'm not going to make chicken anymore, cuz I forgot to buy the chicken. But I have a good excuse.

Well, while i was in Target shopping, I got a call from my sister who lives in Oregon. She shared with me that she has cervical and uteran cancer. So next week, Dave and I, along with my Mom (who is still dealing with my Stepdad's death,) are going up there to be with her for the surgery. We will be gone from Tuesday to Sunday. My Mom will stay longer. She is having a tuff time today. So am I.

I have no clue on this type of cancer, but I hear it can be bad. I'm almost afraid to look it up.

So my life is a little bit more busy. I hope I can get everything done, by the time of our trip to DL. If not, then I will still be amongst friends, and having a great time.

I need to get back to sewing bonnets and totes.

Your family is my thoughts and prayers.
