Hi guys! I have missed so much lately. We started softball (Dh and I both play) DD has soccer, and I am finishing up my 3rd quarter at school...so I am busy.

I appreciate those who leave comments to me on facebook...that I do check frequently since I don't have to read back so much. lol

DH and I are getting help for our problems. We both want to make this work. We have had issues since we got married. But we are working to make things better because we love each other. I appreciate it if you all prayed for us or sent us good vibes if praying isn't your thing.

Anywho...I am working right now, I will try to catch up on all the chatter later tonight after LOST.

Happy to hear that things are going better for you & your DH.

I got the ECV and it has turn signals and goes very very fast compared to the park ECV. I will have to get a trailer hitch type platform for it or have to take a county bus to DLR. The upholstery is torn and worn while the deck is pretty beat up but it runs so fast.

I hope everyone is blessed today and that all you cares go away.

Aaahhhh January! You don't have to miss us, cuz we are all keeping you close in our hearts. Big Hugs that give You lots of strength and hope for the path you are on and wherever it may lead you, Pretty Sante Fe Angel!

My avatar..:rotfl:..that's little churro.. he's our mascot!

I've been having so much bad luck lately, I'm just trying to stay positive . Hopefully things will turn around soon for me :guilty:. I know things can get worse, but I sure pray they don't.
Awww, Katie. I'm sorry. I hope things turn around for you fast. :grouphug:

Katy's class is doing a field trip to the plantarium in a few weeks so I hope it is nice for that at least! I am looking forward to that. I get to chaperone! :)
I hope she likes her trip better than my twins liked theirs. They went to the Planetarium yesterday and neither of them liked it.

Not what I want to hear about the weather. :scared1:
Once the sun is out, it's not bad. You'll be fine. And tomorrow is supposed to be around 70. :thumbsup2

Hey January. I'm glad to hear you are working on things. I just want you to be happy.

I wanted to share about my day a little bit here if y'all don't mind. :)

My husband completely surprised me today!! He got up at his usual time, 6:30, showered, dressed and left for work around 7:15.

When I came home from walking the twins to school around 8:30, there was a knock at the front door. That always freaks me out as we don't know anyone in the area and no one should be showing up at my door. I was going to ignore it, but then decided to take a peek.

It was Ruben! He was standing there on the doorstep with a single pink and yellow rose and a box of Dunkin Donuts. :rotfl: He had only pretended to go to work. Instead he snuck off to buy the rose and the donuts, then parked nearby until he saw me come back from walking the girls.

He switched days and took today off and will work Sunday so we could spend the day together alone while the kids were at school. It was such a sweet surprise! :lovestruc

We went out to lunch, and just had a really nice day together........alone. ;)
Anyway, I just love that after almost 21 years together, he still goes out of his way to do little surprises for me like that. :goodvibes

OKay, sorry, back to your regular programing. :rotfl:

Beth - That is SO sweet. :cutie: You're such a lucky gal to have such a great guy!

Aw, Beth!! That's so sweet :lovestruc I love it when guys do such romantic things without any kind of prompting - makes my heart melt!

Did you watch TV today???? :lmao:

Thanks. I am lucky. Not too many high school sweethearts are still together after so long, and even fewer are actually happily together. :rotfl2:

Oh yes, the tv was definitely on. :happytv:
Yeah, the fact he did it on his own is what really made it special for me.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes & :grouphug:. I know I can always count on you guys to lift my spirits :flower3:.

January~ No matter what happens in your marriage, I wish you the best. If you ever need someone to talk to feel free to PM me. I've had more drama than you could ever imagine in my marriage and I completly understand how hard it can be (and a couple of the DIS ladies know what I'm talking about :rolleyes1).:hug:

Beth~ Your husband always amazes me by how sweet and thoughtful he is. More men should follow his examples :flower3:.

January that is great news! I am so happy for you! You will be in my prayers! I hope it all works out for you guys!

Kate I am sorry about the taxes. That really sucks. I have only owed a few times but we claim zero now so it is tough for us all year long and then when they held our refund for so long that hurt us too. We PURPOSELY claimed zero to make SURE that we wouldn't owe BECAUSE we owed a few times and don't want THAT again. So all year long it is rough and then to have them hold a refund that you are expecting it really sucks. I hope you get it all worked out!!

And Beth that is AWESOME!! I hope you guys had fun. Your guy sounds SO romantic!! What a keeper. Shane does stuff like that every so often.

I can't remember if I mentioned what he did while we were on our trip this past week but I admired this REALLY pretty bracelet in the watch shop their by carnation cafe. I don't have much real jewelry (nice stuff) and have been admiring a few nice bracelets. I saw one that had an amethyst in it a few years back at a store in our local mall and told my mom about it and hinted that I would love that for my birthday. Well of course my mom forgot to tell him. Then we went to Disneyland and I admired some MUCH cheaper little bracelets and he bought both of them. He gave me one at dinner and then saved the other one and gave it to my mom to hold to give to me at Christmas that year. Christmas came NO bracelet. YEP she lost it. I never DID get it.

So then when we were on the ladies trip I saw this GORGEOUS amythest bracelet similar to the first one I admired years ago that I never got and said I liked it and my birthday is coming up in June and just kind of laughed that she could mention it to shane for our trip in April.

Well once again she said NOTHING and so when we were there last week I showed it to him and then we went to the Rainforrest for dinner and the girls and I went to the bathroom. I knew something was up all day because we had brought our umbrellas to the parks and had them in plastic bags and he would NEVER leave the bag with me when he went anywhere. But anyway so when I came back from the bathroom I opened up my menu and there was the bracelet. I almost passed out. I NEVER would have thought he would have really bought it. Sure I can hint but this one was WAY more expensive then the little 25.00 ones he got me before and I was SO shocked. It was really a neat surprise!

Anyway just thought I would relate my neat story since Beth was sharing. ;)

Sigh--I love romance. Does talking with ex-ex BF at 2:30 a.m. this morning about my taxes and he pdf'ing my extension to me count as romance? (That's about as good as it got with him--trust me!)

See--you've got a sweetheart too!

Hey all! Thanks again everyone for your kind thoughts. I really do mean it. I think it helps knowing I got some awesome friends all over the place.:flower3:

Beth, your man rocks.:thumbsup2

Kate----Your baby is ADORABLE!! I love those cheeks!

I have a lame math assignment due tonight. I totally forgot about it. Then I looked at my syllabus...:headache:. In case you all didn't know I would rather be doing ANYTHING than math. I am bummed because this class is bringing my 4.0 down. I have an 87 in the class and there is only a few weeks left of the quarter, so there is no way I can really bring it up to get a 100. Oh well, the A+ average was nice while it lasted.

So, no chatty for me tonight. Boo! I will definitely try to get done early so I can at least read all that I missed....unless anyone wants to fill me in on everything going on in the past month.:rotfl:

Awww, how sweet! I love that. :goodvibes

Relationships can be so hard. We definitely have our share of arguments and days when we bug each other with our little habits or nagging. lol But we do lots of little surprises for each other too and I think that's the key. At least for us.

Sounds like you've got a real keeper there too. :thumbsup2

For some people, sure it does! :rotfl:

Ummm, no thanks! :rotfl:

Good luck on the math assignment!
Come join our exchange!! :yay: You know you wanna. ;)

Aaaaaaahhhhhh, I'm catching up girls!

I am flippin between Biggest Loser & Deadliest Catch...Funny...I have never
had crab...
BB was a crabber for 4 years. His friend still is, his going away parties are a lot of fun!!

I like shrimp, but haven't tried the others.

I CAN NOT BELIEVE you've never had crab! That blows my mind for some reason! If you haven't had it by the time I see you again, I'm taking you out for some king crab legs! YUMMY!

My computer crashed a couple days ago and I just got it semi-working again so I can check in with you all ;).

I was totally stressed out because I hadn't e-filed my taxes yet and I didn't think I was going to get my computer working in time :scared1:. Well I got them done this morning & I owe California $2,119 :headache:. I also owe federal but not as much since I had more money taken out of my checks. If I wouldn't have had the baby before the end of the year, I would've owed about $9,000 total :scared1::scared1::scared1:. Good thing she was born Dec. 29th .

I've been having so much bad luck lately, I'm just trying to stay positive . Hopefully things will turn around soon for me :guilty:. I know things can get worse, but I sure pray they don't.

Well, I'm going back to catch up on the thread and see what I missed :surfweb:.

Hey babe, stay positive. I'll thinking about you.

Janaury, I'm so glad to hear that your DH is willing to get help with you and work on your problems. That's so important and shows he really does care about your relationship. My prayers are with you both.

My hubby would never do something like that. He's not.....creative......errrrr, romantic......in that way. If it's not spelled out in front of him, he's like "DUHHH? WHAAAA? HUHHHH? Yeah, he's got that dumb guy act down real good.

Hey ladies!!! Some of us were chatting about some fun ideas we could do to keep the excitement up for the trip, as well as the friendships, and we decided to do some exchanges! :cool1:

Check out this thread for our first official DIS Girls Only trip exchange:

It's going to be a lot of fun and I hope we get lots of ladies to join. :dance3:

I'm going to check it out. :thumbsup2

Aww, but Mr. Disney-super-dad is a sweetie. I could totally tell how much he missed you in March. Your phone conversations were so sweet. :goodvibes
Not that I was listening or anything. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:
