I am so lucky to be so close to DLR.

Have to pay Calvin $40 to move the hospital bed into the office. I won as he did not think it would fit but it did with half an inch to spare, very tight. Full blown SID meltdowns from mom and I was crying and trying to get Calvin to calm down. We feed off of each other and mom was well fed emotionally and full blown meltdown. I burn more energy in one day dealing with her SID/hypersensitivity than if I did a marathon but I love her and feel sorry for her. She was born broken and unlike me does not know she is broken.

I am so happy that I have my high hospital bed that makes it easier on my shoulder. Thanks ladies for putting up with me.

I love DLR and it is my sanctuary from life and so many nice CMs and people. I also get to help people there and they help me. I get to learn things also. Today I hugged some chipmunks and Chip spent a lot of time with me. At DLR I am a normal person and people are blind to what I look like, so many nice people.:cloud9:

:rotfl2:

I'll let you know how that turns out. ;)

Laurie, I know this isn't my business. But I know how you said you are struggling with money this month, so why do you pay this Calvin so much money to do things for you?

Good evening ladies! Everyone must be busy tonight - No new posts in almost 2 hours! :confused3 Isn't that some kind of new record!
Maybe everyone is watching American Idol! :happytv:

Yep--watching the rest of Dancing with the Stars from last night and the first part of AI!

Thanks!

We are staying at the Orleans. Got a great deal. Costing him less for three nights there than it would have cost us to go anywhere else.

Nice :thumbsup2 Have fun with you hunny BUNNY  Remember to scope out some fun times, 'K??? Be good though (or at least pretend you were good when you get back!)

I caught a snippet of The Biggest Loser earlier and I saw one guy who in only 15 weeks lost 145 pounds!! 145 pounds in 3 and a half months. How on earth do you do that?? And I'm no doctor, but can that possibly be healthy?

Wow.

No, it's not healthy losing that much weight that fast. I remember reading an article on some of the past people who made it to the finals and the things they did were just not good. The would not even drink WATER in the last couple of days. One guy (I can't remember his name, maybe Eric??) said that he was peeing blood from lack of water :scared1: I know a lot of people have gained a lot of weight back since the show - it's too hard a program to keep up with.

Laurie, I know this isn't my business. But I know how you said you are struggling with money this month, so why do you pay this Calvin so much money to do things for you?
Brotherly love is why. He needs money and I need help. For $40 you would not believe what he and his worked did for me.

They broke the latch on the back door. They cleaned my room and moved the stuff that had accumulated under my smashed bed. They moved everything out of my room like a body pillow and boxes to my old bedroom. Stacked up the books that were in and under my bed. Took all the trash out and swept the dining room and bedroom. Clean the stains around where the commode was and did the dishes. Moved the hospital bed into my office.

Money is tight but I need help with chores at times so I give my dear friend the money to do laundry, dishes, minor repair. Money is tight but part of my monthly budget is $40 to $100 for him to do chores and fix things. I have not seen anyone love my mom and me and this house so much. He has so many plans to fix the house. Money is tight but there will always be money put away for him. He is a window washer and times can be tough for him.

I sit here crying as how often does a friend come to your stinky old house and do things above and beyond what they are asked. Even my pastor walked out on my family when I was too tired from dealing with mom and caring for mom. I never had siblings and wonder if our love is like brother and sister as that is how it seems.

I need to watch my impulse buying, buying to get happy, trip to Disneyland to get even with mom, and eating out so much. I am not suffering but do know I need to control spending. If I was rich I would be at DLR almost daily and would go to wDW and buy new Disney stuff. I am an impulse and revenge spender and know that I need to control it.

I sit here and look at my clean room and thank God for my little brother Calvin. Ask around how much maids and housekeepers cost per hour. $40 for two men to move furniture and spend 2 hours watering flowers and car, cleaning the kitchen and dishes, and so much more would be a fair price. I now have a new start and have to keep up the dishes and laundry. It is so nice to have a bed that is not broken. 3 years and we never moved it in my room.:rolleyes1

Sorry to ramble, tired and overwhelmed by how kind Calvin was to me today.:cloud9::hug:

We are staying at the Orleans.

We were there in February for my daughter's cheer competition! Unless you want a really long meal, stay away from the TGI Friday's! :lmao: Right Beth?
The rooms we had were very nice and they do have a great food court area.

Wow.

Not healthy at all.

No TGI Friday's for us. Too many around here so I wouldn't want to waste a vacation meal there. We will probably do the Loft for one dinner though. Glad the rooms are nice. Heard they are big and clean. That was good enough for me.

Never had crab either. Probably never will either - don't like lobster, shrimp or anything like that.

145 pounds in 15 weeks would be from about 4500 to 5000 calories a day. That means that he would have to add that many calories burned or reduce the amount of food he eats. That would be like running 5 to 8 hours a day.

Is it worth the prize they win? Starving the body shuts the body down so that it uses fuel more efficiently. I do not diet but try to cut back and exercise more.

The biggest loser plan isn't to starve yourself although some contestants go too far. They give them a healthy calorie serving a day and work them out for hours. It's so intense that there is no doubt they will gain some weight back. But it's important for them to find a happy medium when they get back home for their day-to-day activities IRL.

So I calculated that I need to answer about 134 questions a day (at $.10 each) to earn $400 a month from Cha Cha. This is really exciting because not only am I not so nervous and stressed about being able to pay off my credit card debt but I can also save to buy my AP again in August! :goodvibes

God is good!:worship:
