Where is Capri, I want to know about her snow situation. Maybe I will text her, but I don't remember if she gets texts or not....

We woke up to about 2-3 inches of snow this morning. CRAZY for mid-April......well, crazy to me anyway. I suppose it's not so unusual to get snow in April, but C'MON! Haven't we had our fair share of snow yet?!!

Oh, and yep, I do get texts.


Don't worry everyone, I'm still here, reading away. I just haven't had much time to post lately. I'm getting used to this Masters program and trying to get a groove going.....and hopefully get some kind of a daily routine going again.

Callie, I hope your house sells soon. I think it's great that you're moving up here to the Pacific Northwest! It's so pretty up here, and especially gorgeous where you want to live.

I don't know if any of you are planning any christmas trips to disneyland... but we are taking my mother and father.

And so i was looking at the disney store online and found for my mother cute flannel tinkerbell pjs in adult sizes... also really cute disney house slippers...all were on clearance. I had just missed out on the thick red terry cloth mickey robes I really want to get my father a nice robe for the trip as a suprise in the room. aaaaaaaalll right.. i ordered nightmare before christmas long johns for me!

I can totally see that would be a bummer to be a single parent when you have so much to do and kids on different schedules at different locations. I honestly don't know how you do it?

I can't remember the exact community they wanted to move to. But it's on the west coast in Washington, and those pics in her signature were taken from there I believe. I love the west side of Washington. It's so pretty there.....and I LOVE the coast!!! We would live there if we could afford it.

It's kind of cloudy and overcast here right now and I am loving it.

Its my Friday today! Will be in Vegas in about 24 hours.

Someday's I am not sure how I do it. Well besides the fact that I have great friends, my ex loves my kids & helps out a lot. He will take them on the wknd or to practice or just to spend the night. Their dad lives in Spokane and well has his own life. But if I ask him there is always something, but when I have something planned for us & he wants them that wknd then I hear about it for days.

Yeah, I went about 3 1/2 weeks ago. That was for my brother's rugby team. I went with him and his friends. This time I am going with DBF and we will be visiting his kids and doing some of our own things as well. And I will be back again in June. My family is cracking up because I don't gamble.

Oh yes, it's always nice to be in Simi and hard to leave. I lived in the Valley West track, but it wasn't on the west end, it's right in the middle of Simi, Heywood St. between Erringer and Sycamore. Go figure !!! Your DFB is very wise to make that commute !!

I hope you can move back sometime, it's never fun to live someplace you don't want to. I do come to Palmdale once in a while to meet DBF if we are going to LAS or PHX and once I came out there to meet him to go hiking at Devil's Punchbowl. Sometimes I come early and work from the Barnes & Noble to avoid traffic, maybe you could meet me for coffee the next time!

We want to go to the Poppy Preserve soon before they are finished blooming, maybe this weekend. Have you ever been? From the pictures I've seen it looks just beautiful!

back from DLR for a couple of hours, no scooter yet. Mom had a shutdown/conniption fit then said I was going to Disneyland which I was not planning to do. Got so fed up that I chilled in DLR and had me

I rode Caey Jr. but this family of four could only seat Dad and two kids so I told mom to sit with me. She proceed to climb over the closed door of the car, lol.

I stopped on the way out to see the streetcar going to the barn. I watched them take the horse with the, brain is fried sorry, um you know the bar that attaches to a wagon. the horse plodded along the trolley then lined up then backed into a spot close enough to be hooked up. A couple walked up to the trolley and were going to board it. UM ninnies the trolley is going backwards and nobody is no it, doh. After leaving the CM told the horse to walk and it took off for the barn.

On main street I was heading toward the castle when I come upon a pack of people watching the Dapper Dans. They were out to the trolley track. I am trying to go north and the horse and streetcar are trying to go south. I yelled HORSE COMING THROUGH and them people just stood there looking at the horse. I got them moving out of the way finally but it was very hard for streetcars and the vehicles to get through some areas. CLANG CLANG CLANG BEEP BEEP BEEP and people did not move.

i had fun and someone I helped thanked me and said something I think ti was God bless you. That was so awesome to help someone. Lots of magic today.

Sounds like you had a nice day. I wish I lived close enough to DLR to take a break there when life gets stressful...you are very lucky and I'm glad you take advantage of the opportunity!!
